I think I have to rewatch, I’m still hung up on the fact that Cartier struck inspiration from a war machine to sell it for 3.5k over 100 years later. What a mind, what craftsmanship. The seven Easter egg is such a nice touch as well. Fantastic video!

My Tank Louis extra plate is the classic 23x30 - it wears perfectly. And at ~4mm thin it is the epitome of a classic dress watch.
I couldn’t justify spending 3.5k on a new quartz tank when there are so many vintage Must de Cartiers out there with ETA movements.

Do you think the old ETA movements are better than the new quartz?
@@TheWatchOut idk about better since it won’t be as accurate as quartz, but I have had an old 70s Must Tank that ran exceptionally well at +/- 4 seconds a day.

Can ask a question out of curiosity, all these watches you review do you personally buy them and keep them or do you purchase them for review and sell, or burrow them from a friend or get them sent to you by the brands. its always intrigued me how younger UA-cam channels can have a such range of new watches. would love for you to explain this. great channel by the way!
Hey! That's a good question. I usually try to borrow watches for a review, either directly from the brand, or from other collectors I know.
But I'm also always on the lookout for good deals on used watches. If I find a suitable one, I'll buy it, review it, and sell it. If I price everything right, I end up not losing much money at all.
And some watches I just buy outright :)

@@MaxwellBXC Ciga Design, Lorier, Traska, Christopher Ward and Farer so far. Usually the smaller brands are more easily open to the idea.
