I have been training for Torbay half but feel like I have lost all my fitness after a bout of Covid! Got a clear test now though so going to do my best and will see you there!

Love the finishing straight tension. Looks like a good race. As you pointed out; probably just too conservative first half / 8k 😆. Hard to pace hilly courses though.

Hey Crown, currently suffering with Plantar which has caused my running to stop completely, which has really effected my overall drive/passion for running. You got any recommendations for coming back from injury. Still injured btw but just dreaming about a potential return one day
Ah man. Just know that you won't lose that much fitness and it will allow your whole body to recover nicely! You might be rusty for a few weeks but you'll soon be back!

I would try and do some easy zone 2 runs to about 15-18K and some intervals training at your goal speed. Maybe 5x2KM with 2 minutes walk/jog recovery.
