I love the way Interlocking diamonds work in Trainz Railroad Simulator, compared to DTG's Railworks where the signals either work or don't depending on how the signals are feeling.
I run a continuous loop on one of my routes and I have the AI use the STW Drive command. My question is, will the interlocking reset after a train goes through or would I have to manually operate each train through the interlocking?
Interlocking diamonds in Trainz are pretty straight forward if you have an asset that can allow them to exist. For example, there is an asset that you can use to make an actual interlocking diamond. Physical towers are optional, but the asset itself is traffic control. When you're the one entering an interlocking tower path, a prompt comes up on the screen basically asking you which signal you need to pass. When you select the signal, then you are granted permission to pass the diamond. All other traffic is halted until you pass the signal. I'm not entirely sure if the game does the same with AI trains as I've never tried that with AI trains, but I'm pretty sure the asset doesn't ask you what signal an AI train needs access to.
I was wondering if you knew why after a AI train passes a signal, sometimes the signal stays red, not allowing any other train to pass, even tho it has cleared two blocks ahead. Can't find any fixes for this problem.
One problem I have is when I have one track crossing 2, I can’t get the other objects to work with more than 2 signals, when I have 4 it doesn’t trigger

AndrewS1697: it resets after each train’s rear car clears the “exit” signal of the path.

Hmm. So you can't get the situation I modeled at HALEY tower to work on one of your routes?
Model Trainz Projects well I couldn’t get it to work with the TRC interlocking tower, but when I used that one, it finally worked
