  • Ex-Army sniper Sgt. Nicholas Irving returned to VladTV to discuss various topics involving his life in the military and America's current affairs in foreign territories. He began by picking apart Hollywood films that depict war environments, arguing that movies only show 1% of what actually occurs. He also criticized the government for its treatment of soldiers once they were off the battlefield. Later in the interview, he spoke about his experiences as a sniper and being labeled a psychopath for the amount of lives he and his battalion claimed. Irving also provided tips to viewers on how to respond during physical altercations and home invasions and listed some of the legendary snipers before his time. Finally, Irving offered his thoughts on America's involvement in the Ukraine-Russia war, the Israel-Hamas war, and much more.

This man is such a thoughtful and well spoken person. It’s shocking at times how candid and honest he is about his experiences, the regrets, the struggles he’s had afterwards, but also how he can admit that he feels his service didn’t make a difference. After all that I imagine it would be tough for a person to continue living without some sense of deeper spiritual purpose and awareness. Repentance you may call it. I know his son is a major part of it but I would love to hear more about his spiritual practices and how he finds the strength to move forward

Digging in a drawing detailed maps with target distances and descriptions is most of the job. We are basically artillery snipers that instead of pulling triggers we radio shots with bombs. What Irving is talking about “dying in state of fear and shock, mouth and eyes wide open. I believe they’re seeing something, not like here in this world”, is explained in Islam very simply. In belief it is when one is confronted by the angel of death. Islam mentions a human will have 1 of 2 reactions… either the soul will be terrified how it’s confronted, OR, the soul will be in a state of pleasant security.
Just food for thought. Don’t matter what you believe in… it’s only right to continue learning and understanding all the knowledge that is available in this world.

I know there's a near impossible chance Nicholas will ever read this, but I just wanted to say thank you man. For sharing all of this, I've seen the previous interview and I've just finished hearing this one. Thank you for being real.
For the longest time I've dreamt of becomming a special forces operator, a designated marksman, a sniper, ever since I was little. Deep down I know this desire is thriving off of a part of my ego; the desire to seek some kind of fullfilment or glory that is justified by serving a nation. I know that everything you're saying is true. No sane person wants that job, you have to be a little crazy and although I believe I am that person, I'm glad to tell you that you've sucessfully steered me away from that desire.
I am a 21 year old kid, while I know that people my age might claim to be adults, I know that i'm just a kid with no life experience. I've gone to college and studied "Commerce Economics & Entrepreneurship." Yet that desire of becomming a sniper had always stayed with me. The only reason why I haven't persued "the dream" earlier is because my parents never wanted it for me and would never let me.
And now that i'm older, recently I had again been contemplating to STILL give it a shot, go to bootcamp and all of that. But hearing the truth from you made me finally realize that this is all garbage. Wars are nothing more than cover ups for political figured to launder money. Kids like me who are crazy enough to kill someone in the name of serving a nation are sent to feed off of their egos, while in reality nothing is accomplished during that time of war, possibly comming back scarred for life or not at all.
Killing is killing, no matter how you look at it, and the real ones like you admit to it. The realization and regret that sets in and dictates the rest of your life, it sucks that you had to go through that brother. But I want you to know that you saved a soul by enduring all that and sharing your stories to the public. You prevented me from making a horrible decision that would've changed my life forever; I've officially given up on chasing that deceptive dream.

To hear two very successful black men discuss Donald Trump without any bias is one of those things that gives me hope for the world. Even if they think or thought he was a huge racist i genuinely believe they think that because of their own observation and experience, not because the media shoves it down their throat. The same way that when I'm talking to an older white guy and they have a genuine, deep admiration for Muhammad Ali or Michael Jordan not just the athlete but the men themselves, and you can't tell by the love they have that they are a free thinker and not concerned with race. That's how i feel with these two. They see race, they recognize everything that goes on, but they dont wake up hating anyone, even if it's justified. That's the kind of person i strive to be. I legitimately try to be the change i want to see in the world. Its dumb but i will wait twice as long as i should to hold the door for a black guy or a family because i feel like man....i know people have done yall wrong and i just want to send the message that this young white guy resoects you bro. Theres nothing I'm too good to do for you and the world may be at war but if you wake up every day trying to be a good person and take care of the people around you idgaf what color you are, you're my type of guy and i want to see you win. Idc if I'm broke man i wanna see you with a million dollars and a bunch of property. These are two men you can trust. No one is manipulating them so however they feel about someone if it differs from me I'm not going to look at them and think....dumbass. If their opinion is different than mine I'm going to look around and say, what am I missing? If Nick says this dude is prejudice and I don't see it... maybe i need to be looking harder. Man if i gotta climb into a fox hole, you bet your ass I wanna do it with men like this.

Cool guest. Just starting. I hope the conversation touches on all the conflicts we're engaged in around the world, and mercenaries; it seems like an endless war, anywhere we want. And the difference between our mercenaries and our regular military is sort of mysterious to me, although I know since 9-11 we have embraced mercenaries to serve in rolls that aren't suitable? for our regular military. It's crazy to me but the guest should have a great perspective on this stuff. Take it from the man.
Guest seems like a really sweet, thoughtful person. Trump seems like a spoiled rich child, has been since I first became aware of him in the 90's (bragging about the 'quality' of the women he gets), but it's interesting to view him as the outsider fighting for truth, and a lot of smart people now hold this position. The funny thing to me is that Trump, demonstrably horrible, is becoming the option for people who are serious about the truth.
Excellent content. This guest is really helps us understand how this stuff goes down.
1:13:00 Guest says "What makes a good mother is what makes a good sniper" It's that motherly trait, he says. Damn yo! Thank you for bringing it hard.
