என் தம்பிக்கு மிகவும் பிடித்த பாடல். இந்த படம் வந்து ஓரிரு ஆண்டுகள் இருக்கலாம், அவன் எட்டாம் வகுப்பில் படித்துக் கொண்டு இருந்தான். நான் தோல் தொழில்நுட்பக் கல்லுரியில் படித்துக் கொண்டு இருந்தேன். அப்போது எங்கள் வீட்டில் இருந்த ஒலிநாடா பெட்டியில் (டேப் ரிகார்டர்) இந்த பாடலை அடிக்கடி போடச் சொல்லி கேட்பான். மறக்க முடியாத, இனி வரவே வராத, இனிமையான நாட்கள். என் தம்பியின் பெயரும் ராஜாதான் (நடராஜன்)
இது நடந்து 33 ஆண்டுகள் கடந்து விட்டது. ஆனாலும் இந்த பசுமையான நினைவுகள் என் நெஞ்சில்.. இளையராஜா இசையால் மட்டுமே இது சாத்தியம்..
அருமை சகோதரா எனக்கும் இப்பாடல் மிகவும் பிடிக்கும் இந்த திரைபடம் வெளிவந்து நான்கு நாட்களில் நான் பிறந்தேன் அப்பொழுது என் அண்ணாவிற்கு பிடித்த நடிகர் கார்த்திக்.., எனவே எனது தம்பிக்கு கார்த்திக் என்று பெயர் வையுங்கள் என்று சொல்லிட்டானம் என் அண்ணன் 😊😊👍👍 ஆனால் என் அண்ணா இன்று இல்லை கடவிளடம் சென்று விட்டான் 😔😔

Karthik was one of my fav Tamil actors back then. I remember seeing this movie as a kid and even before I knew, I was siding with Karthik's character in the film rather than Prabhu's. I also loved this song more than any other in the film.
One thing to note is that Karthik's dance in this song was more stylish and fluidic than even Prabhudeva. He gave more swag to those dance moves.
