Like comparing apples, oranges and bananas! The Cortez was brash - spruce and mahogany, Alhambra was the warmest - cedar and mahogany. Takamine, different again - spruce and rosewood. 3 contrasting flavours. I preferred the Alhambra.
alhambra sounds the best to me. it has the most clear and defined sound. you can really hear the resonance of the wood. i think its because they don't use heavy gloss on the soundboard. cortez is #2 and takamine #3 for me.
they are 3 good guitar.. i am gonna opt for the takamine.. but it is a personal choice.. cortez sounds excellent as well as alhambra.. so at the end for this price range they are all fine..

My favorite is the Salvador cortez, it has a transparent but still warm sound, Alhambra is nice to play full and warm in lower strings but the nylon strings sound dull and a little flat. Takamine ist transparent and a little sharp, too hissy for me

Wow! Shuch a huge difference in sound! To me: #1 is Cortez, #2 Alhambra and #3 Takamine.

Alhambra ha un suono piu naturale, takamine ha un'elettronica migliore, la Cortez non mi entusiasma
Takamine loses, Alhambra and Cortez are on a higher level. To me the Alhambra has the most balanced sound, especially when using the pickup.
