Disclaimer:
This adapter only fits the PARA FAL lowers, it does not work with the fixed stock ones.

That's the type of stock they use on the Argentinian FAMCA, the modernized PARAFAL that some special units use.
Yes, true. I wanted to mount it and see whether it's worth it or not. So far, not bad
This gun is just inherently cooler than any AR, but there's no denying that the AR has better stock options. Now there's no reason to own an AR-10 other than to compare to your superior FAL.
I'm trying my hardest to make the FAL great again. It has an aesthetics that is second to none yet with the limited aftermarket support and small user segment it's sometimes hard to promote it.

@@thefalguy9848 Well you're doing a good job imo! It's always been cool, but unfortunately not feasible for most because of the price. Most will just prefer an AR-10. The FAL is impossible to pass up on for anyone with a respect for firearms history though.
I have an SA-58 and I love it. Bought it used fully tricked out, 16" barrel with top and front railed handguard and the Para conversion. Thinking about getting either an 18" or 21" barrel for it with a longer handguard and either an original FAL bipod or something more modern. Haven't decided yet.
Have you done much accuracy testing between an 18" and 21" barrel?

Have you had any hands on time with the DS Arms IBR FAL? Id like to go with the 18 inch barrel version with pretty much your setup.
No I have not been able to play with one of them. It's high on my bucket list though

@@thefalguy9848 I'm getting ready to order my first FAL. I'm going with a classic looking one first. After that I'll look into getting something more tactical set up like the one you have in the video.
@@anthonyz.4560Awesome, 21 or 18" would be the way to go for a first FAL. You can always upgrade it. I would highly recommend getting a railed dust cover though to run optics.
@@thefalguy9848 I am looking at the dsa traditional 21" model. I see they have an option for a trigger job upgrade, do you have any experience with it? Trying to decide if it's worth it.
Ordered the DSA OSW 12 inch pistol and unfortunately the only para part that’s not on this thing is the lower receiver which sucks because I really wanted to get one of these and throw a brace on it
What kind of lower receiver does the OSW have? You can always get a Para lower from DSA - they are not serialized and do not need an FFL transfer.
@@thefalguy9848 I’m not sure what lower the OSW has, it’s just a solid back plate with 3 tiny screw holes but it doesn’t have the big retaining screw that you showed in the video. I ended up ordering the PARA lower and brace and will be doing an install on all of that.

Never hurts to have a Para FAL. DSA also sells the Para lower by itself so you can convert a fixed stock FAL into a Para one
