When I was younger I used to really enjoy swapping suspension on Subarus, whether mine or a buddy's. Recently, though, I had to replace my BC Racing damper on my Impreza and it just exhausted me. lol So I felt that when you said you COULD do it yourself, but you wouldn't want to do it. Now I'm looking at bagged suspension to help deal with the crappy New England roads, because coilovers ain't it!
Anyway, glad to see some updates on the channel. I always enjoy the quality production. I wish your channel got more love, but it's slowly getting there. Keep it up!

Jason, did you ever end up getting spacers?? Also, with you Titan 7’s did you have any issues with the step/lip on the hub? I’ve read different things about the M3 Perfoemance model and the hub size with regard to aftermarket wheels, so I’m a bit nervous about pulling the trigger. Also, any idea if Titan 7 would do custom offets?

Have you gotten control/camber arms? How has this affected your tire tread life?
So why didn't you use the spring compressor to compress the spring and then set the ride height? You would have been able to turn the perch by hand. Unless I'm missing something here ??

How does this affect camera and sensor settings? I know changing ride height on my Subaru negates the EyeSight system.
You can just recalibrate them from your screen if need be
Hmm I have a 22 model 3 performance and the top of the strut are a 17 and it goes right in I wonder if they change something!?!.

How low are you in this video? I measured mine from the front jack point to the ground? It's 5" even a low profile jack has a hard time getting under and with puck its impossible. Ramps are needed. I'm on the same suspension kit. It corners like a dream, but any bump or hole in the road is frustering. Entering businesses with inclines is a bitch. driveways are tough. I came to this video for instructions on how to lift it a bit. Maybe 1". I gotta drive mine in the winter too. :) Thanks for sharing.
On a day to day basis it's just low enough to look good, but high enough that it doesn't hinder getting into any parking lots or driveways!

What Tesla shop or mobile is charging $1100 for a door handle replacement on a model S? I’m in the Chicago suburbs and Tesla mobile changed mine for $327, at my doorstep
Using impact tool before using a torque wrench? 😅 not sure about this.. Correct me if I am wrong but you run the risk of just maxing it out than doing the correct torque spec. Not for perfectionists? was almost impressed by the guy saying the numbers are not just there so we should follow them
The older model s had the problem with the handles not the newer ones. They redesigned the internals.

Those cheap spring compressors are an accident waiting to happen... Worth every penny to take to a shop and have the springs installed with the machine on coilovers.
It needs to go lower atleast even with the tire and the fender

Oh. The good ol.days where you spend thousands of dollars in hopes to see your vehicle make a video. Nope! Tesla upgrades. Definitely looks more Badass.
The UnpluggedPerfomance springs (can’t comment on coil overs) are total dogsh!t. I have the ‘moderate’ versions fitted and not only is it ridiculously low, all but two coils on the spring are coil-bound and totally useless. I’m now designing my own progressive springs with my spring guy with a small amount of super-soft travel to smooth everything out before the stiffer section takes over.

7:59 - part about cheap coilovers not having adjustable body threads is wrong, its actually the opposite. Look at MCS, JRZ, Penske, KW or any of the top of the line motorsports shocks and you'll find that they're all one piece. They also all adjust height with preload not body mount.
Doesn't seem too much worse than an ICE ride.
Law of diminishing returns on how low you go. Literally, lol. As long as you can fit a credit card, you're g2g :)
I would definitely at least try it abt a half inch lower though, just to see if the ride goes to crap. You look like you have some room yet, to take advantage of.

How about a fake exhaust to match the wheels. Unless your racing around a track having too much air around brakes them less efficient.

The days of seeing discs and calipers are from the ICE age, times have moved on..
I will be taking the car on track and I bought the wheels because they are lighter and look good. I also don’t give two shits what you think of them.

I think those wheels are awesome. I have some almost just like that, but in space grey on my BMW 550i. Plus I find when you detail your wheels, it’s easy clean the barrel and the spokes. Elaborate wheels are a pain in the ass to detail.

Unplugged Performance is horrible I caught them in multiple lies they had my car longer than they should and I lost thousands of dollars
I honestly would never modify something so horribly built. Just giving them an excuse to not honor your warranty or shift the burden of proof to you. That's me though.
Modifying a car only removes the warranty on the parts you are modifying. Though they will likely void any suspension stuff after this, the rest of the car will still be covered. This is the bargain you make when you lower a car or lift a truck, but it's worth it for a lot of people.
