Can you buy different laser heads to switch them in/out to perform different functions?
Yes you can!
It’s just a matter of loosening the thumb screw and unplugging one laser head and installing the new one
Can you please put the dog on a seat belt tether it gives me anxiety 😅
So does your cutting boards have to be under a certain thickness or length/width ?? Or will the legs raise up higher ?
You can always put blocks under the legs to make it taller. The board must be narrow enough to fit in between the legs. They’re 20” ish wide and length doesn’t matter
I am guessing you are laser engraving alot of cutting boards and such? I want one but I already have a cnc so I am trying to see if it worth having both.
I think the laser is a little easier to set up because there are no tool changes. Also, it is better with the fine details.
@@GoodViewWoodworks set up you have there (I know you said the particular module you bought does not cut) but with the other module what can it cut through?
It can cut through 12mm plywood so just under 1/2”
@@GoodViewWoodworks Now after having it for a couple weeks is this something you still recommend? I am about to pull the trigger on one.
@@MaloneWoodworks yes! However, if I were in the market, I would get the ortur leader master 3
How easy is the software to learn? ( light burn)
Great question. There is a bit of a learning curve but there are several UA-cam videos to help. The cool part is you can always turn the power output of the laser down to “preview” what it will look like before engraving.
@@GoodViewWoodworks$270 is really a good price for it. Going to have to think on getting it! Thanks for the info
No problem
