Girl don't be sorry for your emotions! Especially when it comes to music. We're lucky to be able to feel a song, and no one makes you feel it like ABBA. Thanks for sharing!
I was 16 yrs old when ABBA actually won the Eurovision Song Contest - a very very long time ago. How sensational to think they are back again??? Just amazing!!
What is magical is that ALL members are in their 70s now! Anni-Frid who's doing lead vocals in I Still Have Faith in You is already 75, Agnetha who lend her lead vocals in the other new song, Don't Shut Me Down, is 71, and both Benny and Bjorn, the 2 masters behind the brilliant lyrics and compositions, are 76 and 75 respectively.. How magical IS that
To paraphrase Benny, "we thought we should this before we're dead." Fucking love this band so much, and gave up hope of ever hearing the likes of these new tunes decades ago. So nice to be WRONG, in this case. Now I love them even more. They're not the same this time around.
I've been crying for nearly a month now listening to the two new songs. I grew up with ABBA but never saw them. I've got tickets for the shows next year. I don't care that it'll be a virtual show. It's going to be epic just to be with thousands of ABBA fans.
Dazzle Monroe your words: " I dont care that it"ll be a virtual show. It"s going to be epic, JUST TO BE with thousands of ABBAfans"Yeahhh! totally agree.Being together in unison with all fans that share same deep feelings will also be a powerful,,thrilling, euphoric, experience.
ABBA may have just saved 2021. I’ll admit it, I cried. ABBA was my first musical love over 40 years ago. Their music has seen me through so much. To hear them again, no words.
You have sobbed over this and you only recently became aware of aBBA. Can you imagine how us fans from the 70's feel. I am 57 and never thought i'd see/hear this in my lifetime. I saw them live back in 79 at Wembley. The other song is just as good. If you see the interview etc. Bjorn say s he felt this one had to be about them. About how their shared experience and love brought them back together professionally. Doubting if they could do it. Hoping the fans would still welcome them. They have smashed any doubts and fears that they are back big time. They sound as good as ever and i cant wait for the planned digital Avatar concerts that are to take place here in London.
They never lost touch because of many reasons including shared grandchildren/children between Bjorn and Agnetha; as well as business reasons for ABBA, who continues to sell and outsell so many other artists. But they all had to get to a place where they could do this and so yes, 40 years have gone by. And they are not disappointing. Enjoy them. You are a wonderful human being who gives great reactions. I like you.
So great to see a new generation discover their genius, which I first felt fired up about 50 years ago! They are my generation, but their amazing storytelling genius still speaks to me over half a century later! You're not the only one tearful and emotional!!!
They were almost as big as The Beatles. They were swarmed by fans in the 70s as if they were The Beatles! Their sound was so authentic, so joyful, and they wrote it all and produced it! Then there are those gorgeous voices! It's hard to convey the monumental effect they had on the music industry and their fans. They had 28 hits and 9 #1s and sold half-a-billion albums! And almost all of their music stands up today. No auto-tune, no attitude, just pure talent, and love!
I cry with both their new songs. Starting off in a minor key is a winner. Their quality of songwriting an vocals is quite astonishing and very unique. We all need ABBA in our lives. Uplifting
A small correction: Both new songs start in major key, like most of ABBA's songs do. There are some exceptions like The Day Before You Came and I Let The Music Speak (and Voulez-Vous!), with a few others, but mostly their songs are always in a major key.
I was at work when I read that ABBA got back together and were releasing a new album. I thought I must've died in my chair, because how could this be possible after giving up all hope a couple decades ago? I must've lived a decent life and gone to heaven, right? Amazingly I'm alive, and it IS true. I cried all kinds of emotions in my office all afternoon, and madly texted friends who are fellow devotees of this incredible band, to share the joy of this very real un-reality. Wow. "I Still Have Faith In You" is one of the best gifts I've ever gotten.
Me too man...I can't stop crying. This song is pure magic, it's epic. It opens passages to emotions. I never thought I 'd feel this way. A hug for you mate
What ABBA has created is something completely unique and it has never happened before in music history. Not only has it been almost 40 years, but their music is a masterpiece well and you can recognize them instantly. I am now 60 years old and still have their first LP and old cassettes that I play on my old turntable here at home. I am extremely grateful that I experienced this moment. You get emotional easily and rightly so.
Take this Simon Cowell, these women are old enough to be Susan Boyle’s MOTHERS! They are my age, & yes long lives happened, & we are STILL ROCKING, & we matter!!! Thanks for the emotional reaction. You have it in you too!
Until now two new ABBA songs have been known, both different in their themes and leading voices And both have the ABBA trademark on their solvency in musical composition and production We know the great spirit of perfection that Björn and Benny impress on their creations, and both new creatures live up to their great successes of the 80s. So the biggest mystery was to know the state of the voices of Agnetha and Frida and how they could react to the inevitable passing of the decades and their possible comparisons with previous classics. And I must also say that they both look very good And in that "look" there is an extraordinary job of caring for Björn and Benny to "take care" of their historical singers, partners and former partners. They gave them two wonderful songs, with beautiful melodies and deep lyrics, but they were also surrounded by the iconic hooks and the appeal to emotional nostalgia "I still have faith in You" is an unpublished song in its conception in the history of ABBA because it is self-referential about them as a group, and it is also testimonial, because they tell us about their experiences in all this time Musically it is a ballad with mystical and epic A stately and majestic piano, and Frida's soft voice conducts and recreates ABBA's story with poignant beauty, with Agnetha joining in some verses to emphasize The sound of the drums arrives (a nod to the mega hit "Fernando") as if preparing the change of rhythm And with a powerful guitar comes that first unpublished chorus, because this time all ABBA sings from the bowels of its history and with the strength of its testimony of life, of healing and togetherness. And in the second chorus, even stronger, it becomes very clear that ABBA sings with the passion and courage that Björn's excellent lyrics stand out, it is like a triumphant song of their survival and their bond. And it ends with a solo by Frida, flawless, with the flutes at the end Also isn't a commercial song (more than 5 minutes) it's so emotional, with a fantastic vídeo of all greatest memories of pictures, official videos of 70s songs and Australia tour ABBA really comes back at high level The world needs ABBA sound
I love your reaction! Someone said "ABBA is the only band who can make you cry, laugh and dance at the same time". I think you proved that to be right!
I BOW DOWN, NO ONE CAN SHUT ABBA DOWN. 39 YEARS HAS PASSED, AND NOW THEY JUST RELEASE 2 NEW MASTERPIECES. AGNETHA, BJØRN, BENNY, ANNI-FRID, THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC, RESPECT 😘😘😘😘
Yes this is really nostalgic. I grew up in Sweden, now I am 67 years old, and I have been a fan dince the beginning. I even knew them before they became ABBA. Agneta hade a solo carrer as a pop singer snd even had played the role of Maria Magdalene in the musical Jesus Christ superstar the end of the 60s Benny was in a pop group named Hep Stars also in the 60s,Björn was in a group called Hotennany singers in the 60s and Frida was more of s Jazz singer together with famous musician i the 60s.I am lucky to have seen them live in Liseberg amuesment park in Göteborg in 1974, just after there victory in Eurovision with Waterloo. ABBA FOREVER They are back after 40 years.
I first fell in love with Abba back in 1977 and they still make me cry, 44 years later. Absolute masters of pop music. Nobody does it better. Thank you Abba for bringing joy to a world that is so sad. Love and respect ❤
born as a 59er more one the Rock and Rocknroll side ya know Who, Burdon, Stones and all that stuff but Abba u also were aware and heard always in the radio as other pop songs. They always were earcatcher to me in various situations and did it 4 me from Waterloo on....can´t imagine their career and how crazy and unbelieveable that all went...but this is the best old Love and stay and finding back to it i have ever heard. Sooo great and heartfull
Thanks for the ABBA. Everyone gets emotional with this one. You know their all in their 70's now. Reacted to the other song "Don't Shut Me Down". You get these four together and magic happens. Still as strong as ever.
ABBA and AC/DC radiate magic with their way of making music. There is no longer such music as Abba's, that's why it's something special, including the fact that it's ABBA.
I cry every time I hear them! Even on the”happy” songs! They are a true gift from God! I’m so glad more brothas and sistas are coming to love their music!!!

Love your reaction Sunshine ❤️
Beautiful reaction. I had the same reaction when I heard the song for the first time. I've thought about why I reacted this way, and I've concluded that it was happy tears over meeting a very good friend that I haven't seen for 40 years. That, and happy tears over how brilliant the song is. But also some sad tears by the fact that they have reached old ages, and won't be around forever.
Aw Jayy, thanks for your wonderful, genuine reaction to this epic beauty of a song. In the nicest sense possible, I loved watching you smile through your tears as you felt the lyrics resonate with you - it was like holding a mirror to how I reacted the first time I heard it (and truth be told, every time since). It moves me that younger people still get the beauty of their sound, and the genius of the writing behind it. There is a vulnerability in returning with new music after 40 years as 70+ people, when so many folk still adore you for you classic old hits. This song so perfectly captures this in its lyrics and the more mature, slightly frail in places, vocals that somehow just add to the song's emotional resonance. It makes me happy to see that their music still gets to a newer audience as much as the generation that grew up with them. Fantastic heartfelt reaction!
If this one doesn"t move you, then nothing could cure your cold heart. You should go check your pulse.Nice reaction gir!l connected and got emotional too...for one more time.
omg, young lady, I have never heard this before. I am an old man, wiping tears from my eyes. I don't want to do this.. God...why must I have to endure this beautiful song after all I have been through?.. I just try to carry on,
Don't be sorry about feelings. Bless and be well all. We live at the end of a great time in music, listen and cherish. Pass it on and hope it comes back for later generations.
Oh Abba you hold such a special place in my heart you evoked all the memories of my childhood asking my late parents can you buy me the new Abba single or album, thankfully my parents loved your music, so I am sitting here feeling emotional and thinking of those days when they took me to Wembley Arena to see you in 79, you always move my soul and you have today with this beautiful track!!! Great review like you I was so emotional listening to this track!
I was eight years old when they split up, so I hardly remember them as an existing band - but of course, I have listened to a lot of their other songs, and this reunion moved me a lot. At the same time, I was relieved that they came back with quality. Even without the nostalgia, I actually think "I Still Have Faith In You" is among their best songs ever.
It's pretty surreal to have these guys from my childhood back doing the thing. I mean they were a chart machine over here when I was about 5 and that's not recently!
I love both their new songs along with everything they have ever performed! I cried like a baby with both sets of lyrics. Especially knowing there were two divorced couples in this incredible group. From personal experience, I know how difficult it is to be civilized with an ex let alone harmonize and have their incredible chemistry! Cheers!
You didn't even mention the avatars! ABBA are 40 years older now. Those seasoned voices are being revealed through the youthful avatars! How cool is that?
The emotions your feeling,I've watched a few reactions and you are not alone I can assure you.and I know the feeling as a seasoned watcher/listener to you 🇬🇧
Two broken marriages, and still they are into together, like fighters inthe ring! I have tickets for me and my grown daugthers to the concert i London.
WHAT A COMEBACK SONG AFTER 40 YEARS OF ABSENCE. JUST TRY TO IMAGINE F O R T Y YEARS AND THEN TO COMEBACK TOGETHER WITH THIS SONG. THEY TOOK US ALONG AN EMOTIONAL JOURNEY WITH PAST MEMORIES AND GREAT MEANINGFUL LYRICS THAT WERE SIMPLY SO PROFOUND. THE SONG WAS AMAZINGLY B E A U T I F U L. GREAT REACTION JAVY TAKE CARE JAVY FROM EMILIO IN ADELAIDE CITY FROM AUSTRALIA
I'm so happy to be a live to witness the Return of ABBA. I've had smile in my face and tears in my eyes for a month now. Now I can die happy. Thanks ABBA what you have given to the world. Again.
Anni-Frid (Frida) is the redhead and does the lead on the song. Agnetha, the blond does the lead on their other new song; "Don't Shut Me down". The guys are Björn and Benny. No autotune because they can actually Sing unlike modern pop.
I understand you Jayy, its an emotional song,a great song, together with the footage in the video....it grabs you by the heart...thats for sure..thanks for doing ABBA again...hopefully you can do many more ABBA reactions and not just on the big famous hits, they had equally good and hidden gems all over their albums....
Beautiful Jayy, you are not alone getting emotional listening to this, everybody's crying their eyes out😃 Can you please, please, please react to Molly Sandén's Oscar performance "Husavik" in Iceland? It was during the pandemic so they were not allowed to enter the US and perform on stage in L.A., they did it in Husavik instead. The composer of this song is also the composer of the music in the Wakanda movies, he's a young Swedish guy. Thank you for another great video reaction, Sweetness!🌞❤
Girl don't be sorry for your emotions! Especially when it comes to music. We're lucky to be able to feel a song, and no one makes you feel it like ABBA.
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Abba for coming back. The world needed this.
They break your heart and then they lift you up.

"I still have faith in You" is an unpublished song in its conception in the history of ABBA
because it is self-referential about them as a group,
and it is also testimonial, because they tell us about their experiences in all this time
Musically it is a ballad with mystical and epic
A stately and majestic piano, and Frida's soft voice conducts and recreates ABBA's story with poignant beauty,
with Agnetha joining in some verses to emphasize
The sound of the drums arrives (a nod to the mega hit "Fernando") as if preparing the change of rhythm
And with a powerful guitar comes that first unpublished chorus, because this time all ABBA sings from the bowels of its history and with the strength of its testimony of life, of healing and togetherness.

No autotune because they can actually Sing unlike modern pop.
it's take me back 40 years and a verry wonderful life in my time and lots of memo. :)
Love ya Jayy.. you are so real and genuine!! Abbas amazing!😘
I was feeling down so the doctor told me to take two ABBA songs every day 🐈⬛🐈♥️
Don't shut me down is the beautifully energetic dance track to go as a pair with this sweeping and moving ballad. Try it! Their other new song.
Beautiful reaction from you.
Please react to their 2nd new single, Don't Shut Me Down, an uptempo beautiful song
Beautiful Jayy, you are not alone getting emotional listening to this, everybody's crying their eyes out😃
Can you please, please, please react to Molly Sandén's Oscar performance "Husavik" in Iceland? It was during the pandemic so they were not allowed to enter the US and perform on stage in L.A., they did it in Husavik instead. The composer of this song is also the composer of the music in the Wakanda movies, he's a young Swedish guy.
Thank you for another great video reaction, Sweetness!🌞❤
ABBA crazy all these years later

Don't be embarrassed Jayy. I'm a 65 yo man who isn't far from crying. Love your reaction.

ABBA was one of the most amazing groups there ever was. It was so meaningful. Hey Jayy watch their music in the movie "Mama Mia"!
Work Meryl Streep
It's honest and genuinely moving, best thing on the album aside from Don't Shut Me Down.
The ABBAtars show is now running in London, the premier was a few weeks ago and all four members of ABBA were there….
