So beautiful, emotionally so touching, I cry loudly eveytime I hear this song, who knows how much I listened to it, they are unique, composing the music, putting perfect details and solos in it, writing words to music and feeling it and giving us back with their beautiful vocals, and this is the first song in this album, what a forgiveness, what a love between them, what a friendship, what a confidence, passion and courage and what a respect to eachother, this makes me cry in the days, the world is in a big mess, thank you for sharing

The big global news of this 21st century for the music world is the return of the legendary Swedish pop group ABBA to the recording studios after more than 35 years (the last was "The day before you came") and the edition of his new songs after 39 years (the last was "Under attack") and a new album after almost 40 years (the last was "The Visitors")
Beyond that these three data are for the Guines Book of records (I believe that No Group or Singer or Artist can come close to these incredible brands), the most remarkable thing is How they returned, with what level of quality
And I must say that ABBA overcame all fears, doubts and expectations
His return is shocking and his quality is still valid
Until now two songs have been known, both different in their themes and leading voices And both have the ABBA trademark on their solvency in musical composition and production
We know the great spirit of perfection that Björn and Benny impress on their creations, and both new creatures live up to their great successes of the 80s.
So the biggest mystery was to know the state of the voices of Agnetha and Frida and how they could react to the inevitable passing of the decades and their possible comparisons with previous classics.
And I must also say that they both look very good
And in that "look" there is an extraordinary job of caring for Björn and Benny to "take care" of their historical singers, partners and former partners. They gave them two wonderful songs, with beautiful melodies and deep lyrics, but they were also surrounded by the iconic hooks and the appeal to emotional nostalgia
"I still have faith in You" is an unpublished song in its conception in the history of ABBA
because it is self-referential about them as a group,
and it is also testimonial, because they tell us about their experiences in all this time
Musically it is a ballad with mystical and epic
A stately and majestic piano, and Frida's soft voice conducts and recreates ABBA's story with poignant beauty,
with Agnetha joining in some verses to emphasize
The sound of the drums arrives (a nod to the mega hit "Fernando") as if preparing the change of rhythm
And with a powerful guitar comes that first unpublished chorus, because this time all ABBA sings from the bowels of its history and with the strength of its testimony of life, of healing and togetherness.
And in the second chorus, even stronger, it becomes very clear that ABBA sings with the passion and courage that Björn's excellent lyrics stand out, it is like a triumphant song of their survival and their bond.
And it ends with a solo by Frida, flawless, with the flutes at the end
Thanks for your great reaction, with all respect for all ABBA músic and history
See you in next ABBA video
    My best regards from
    Buenos Aires Argentina
    South América

I was in my mid teens when ABBA burst onto the scene...i loved every single, every album and it was sad to see them part come the 1980s.
So life moved on but the wonder if they would ever return and the hope they would lived on with me into the 90s and then into a new century.
I am now 61 and with all of you I have just experienced the worst 2 years of my life due to the covid pandemic.
But now, you all along with me can say...
... Thank God ABBA are back.
What perfect timing and the best vaccine we could have wished for.

This song is about THEM having questions about if they were still able to create the magic. Some groups of people seem to want to take their songs and turn the meanings into something they are not. Dancing Queen is a prime example. A Simple song about a young 17 year old girl who loves to dance has been turned into something it was NEVER intended to be.

Although I get being disappointed about the fact that at their concert you would be seeing their avatars perform instead of seeing them live in person, I beg you to consider the fact that these folks are in their early to mid-70's and likely do not have the physical stamina to perform nightly performances in front of live audiences. My father, in his 70's, struggled to use his walker to even walk to the next room; he certainly couldn't have strutted across a stage. The reason they will never ever tour again is Agnetha, she started touring when she was seventeen and it scarred her apparently. She hated touring, she was homesick, she wanted to be with her kids. She wanted to live a normal life. You can tell she liked to be on a stage, it was the touring and the traveling that she hated.
The ABBA life was too large for her, she will do stuff with ABBA as long as it is close to home, going to London lets say is completely out of the question. And they have said that they are too old to stand on a stage again. It is physically demanding and they are in their seventies, but the touring is the obstacle and Agnetha will never ever do that again.
    Cheers 🍺

@@nowthen.4363 Yes that is contradictory. I think it is the touring that scares her .. and if ABBA would go on tour it would be these enormodome 100 000+ audiences because the demand would be colossal.
I mean there aren't really any of the truly gigantic bands left anymore, they would have to do both north and south America, all of Europe and then Australia, New Zealand and Japan. That is a minimum.
She simply does not want to tour. But that is my take on it. She is a sensitive person.
      Cheers 🍺

@@nowthen.4363 Just to drive home my point of how large this band was and still is in commercial terms .. do you guys know how much money they were offered for a reunion tour? It was a serious offer (they recently talked about it in an interview).
They were offered one billion US dollars for a tour of 100 concerts over one year. All four of the members said thank you for the offer, but no thanks.
They turned it down. It is not like they need the money, they've sold more than 300 million albums. That tour would have been in enormodomes with audiences 100 000+ and all over the world.
I just think it is great they are making new music that sounds just as timeless as it did forty years ago. That arena they are building in London is kind of cool I suppose. They probably did that with some spare change to placate the fans that want to have some kind of experience of seeing them live.
      Cheers 🍺

@@stefanconradsson but the Voyage concert experience will also celebrate their love of innovative technology. Their concerts in the 70s (which I attended) were state of the art. ABBA The Movie was (I understand) the first concert movie shown in widescreen. The Visitors was the first album to be recorded entirely using digital technology, and the first to be released on CD. So for me the Voyage show in London will be a natural extension of their historic embrace of innovation! Cheers.

Don't blame it on Agnetha! In fact she sang on stage with Gary Barlow not long ago. The truth is none of them want to tour and who can blame them, they are all in their 70s now
and they didn't like touring back in the day. It wasn't the performing but the travelling and being away from home and family that was the problem.

NOT holograms. They're digitalised avatars. Have a little read-up on how they were created using motion capture suits, etc. ABBA performed every movement on stage for 5 weeks whilst being filmed from every angle.

The ABBATARS are far far far far more complex than any hologram …. The band have motion captured the songs with thousands of points of reference abs it’s ILM (the studio that did Terminator 2, the Lord Of The Ring films amongst others …. They’ve been working o. It for at least 4 years and the venue is purpose
Built for them & is called the ABBA Arena located in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park I. London.
You can see the ABBATARS towards the end of the video abs are how accurate abs wonderful they are. They have based it on 1979 when they were at their ultimate peak abs when I saw
Them Last too & I’ve got my ticket to see them in August & can’t wait !!!
