I just bought the exact unit. The dealer added upgraded 8 ply tires. Led light bar, full ,metal skid plates and a arm protection. Heated grips and hand guards. I had them install the warn 60” snow plow. Absolutely love this machine. Yamaha will never let you down.
I have the exact model. It’s awesome no complaints. I can go anywhere I want with ease
Se or any limited should come with better tires in my opinion.
What kind of lights would you suggest.?
Usually ATVs use a H4 bulb ( Do your reseach for your machine) I normally find my LED bulbs on Amazon. Quite inexpensive and far better than stock bulbs. usually around 12,000 lumens should be plenty bright enough.

The paint is industrial not automotive grade. Kodiak started out with drum brakes way back in the day then went to the wet brake fender storage is only on a grizzly.
3rd headlight sucks, pointless if using front rack. There are currently no led bulbs available to fit the Kodiak that are worth installing. They will look bright white but almost zero usable light. Incest in a light bar or do a custom light install.
Awinch and mount for this bike will set you back $300 cdn dealer charges 99 to install or do it yourself in under 30 min.
