Man this was the day when Shinnok wasn't stupid enough to resurrect The One Being this character was clearly designed to be their most powerful and ambitious villain and they just kept reducing him after Subzero mythologies he has to act like an Uchiha in mk 4 and he gets hoisted by his own petard in Armageddon then he gets beaten by Cassie Cage a character who is even less spiritual than Johnny. He has to get recovered by his mom in mk11. Onaga might be next for bad writing I hope he doesn't get screwed over.
hey hello thanks for your comment but I'm sorry to tell you that shinnok was poorly executed in all mortal kombat not even in warner's animated movies they managed to rule him out the most he stood out was in the movies when he transformed into a demon and fought against liu kang dragon
@@jhonnyrts3332 I think he was handled well in Mythologies as a schemer, of course he gets defeated by Bi Han but there was still way more dignity for the character in the Midway timeline but Midway/Netherrealm's writers seemed to not want to give him any significant victories. Sad....But the MK villains need more wins otherwise the heroes are like that boring hedgehog Sonic and that's basically the Special Force's relationship with Kotal during 10 & 11.
@@GreenPhoenix91Kotal was written to be a neutral good character and less power hungry Outworld Emperor. He’s basically the flip side of the coin to Shao Kahn and Kotal represents the side that respects other realms and laws and interested in keeping the peace. The only reason he confronted the Special Forces in MKX was because of the Amulet and the Kombat Kids had absolutely no idea the dangers of said Amulet once Shinnok was released. Kotal was just trying to stop them from being so stupid and let him deal with the artifact.
Shinnok is poorly executed, his story is incredible but as a playable character he is a disaster. It would have even been better if they had put Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat 4 and then Shinnok wouldn't be so bad seen.
