every time when i see ermac i remember when i was kid in our region there was a gamezone and the owner of it was really good on cabal, and was winning everyone untill i discovered ermac :) That was a mess. He did not understand what was going on on the screen :)
Ermac was definitely one of the harder characters to master when it came to combos and improvisation , but once you got it down good , you could be a beast with him. My favorite character in MK 3 hands down.
I have sparse memories of this game honestly, but what I remember with certainty is that Ermac and Wolf were my 2 favourite. I loved playing with two. They had great combos.

He had to concentrate so hard on that because the AI is broken in MK/midway games. The only way to win was to use move exploits but that makes it 10 times harder on endurance rounds because if he forgot what move triggers what his fucked. Thats why you saw him calmly shuffle forward abit then back away and kept doing it so he had the right spacing. Jump back attack triggers AI to launch a projectile and sweep must trigger them to run at you
He had the best color pallette ever!.. shame in his 2nd costume he loses his skin tone.. In home ports, only sega genesis and saturn made him like this, the rest just made him white as shit, and just simply red, not the original color he had here.

When this first came out I watched a buddy of mine LITERALLY break this game playing ermac...he was the first person I had ever seen play ermac in such a dominant, combo heavy fashion... Imagine seeing the telekinetic slam combos for the very first time in the late 90's .... This was when you could not Google combos online bcuz...well...we had to Netscape or Yahoo it lol ...in a FAQ lol...I was not an MK guy as much as I was into Street Fighter Alpha at the time before getting into Tekken tournament play but I watched dude make the damn MK cabinet reset lol...
Final uppercut by the time the loosing opponent land on the floor the winner has already finish celebrating. I love that straight to the point. ;-D This is the BEST MK out of all of them.

Obviously the games are programmed in such a way that every opponent shoots a projectile when you jump backwards. The player takes advantage of that by doing a teleport and starting a combo
^^^well...actually he's learned how to exploit the game's most common attacks...it's called the "bait & switch" and "special to juggle combo" then u repeat...it's old school street fighter/mk pro secret stuff...not so spoken today...because well...we have fancy pants xbone,xboxx,& ps4 etc
