You seem like a handyman that know how to get things done. I bet you could put something together in your shop that will work for your luggage. What I use is just a big gym bag/duffel bag jammed full of gear and shoveit right in there and I don’t care what it looks like it and we have another leather type bag that I hang off the back of the back west bars. I actually run the strap through the bars and then I added a little bungee just in case and it works just fine, again I don’t care what it looks like it gets the job done and it’s not bad looking.
As far as the two companies you reached out to for the roof I did also and have yet to hear back.
Bullet speed said oh we’re on our way to Virginia for some kind of get together I’ll get back to you when we get back into town I have heard nothing from them and emailed them twice and I wrote them last and said what heckuva way to do business you got , paying customer here but you don’t want my money so I said screw that I’ll take it somewhere else.
