the top few eyelets seems like you tightened them too tightly...you want them a bit loose to help develop good ankle support and also so you have full range of motion.
Omg I did it thanks so much I was told that technique but never tried it
Thank you so much for the Video i bought my first ice skates from Bauer yesterday and i had no idea how to lace them properly.
Now i just watched your Video and i tried that at home and it worked !😊
Thank you
I'm going to try that!!
This was Worth my time ☺️
Thanks for the tip
everything is very useful thank you
My shins hurt when I tie the laces tight. Any tip please?
Thank you
You make it look so easy
Agreed my whole life I've been trying to tie them like that but it's so hard
Thanks it's important to children because if they do it rog then they follow
amother tip that i use is when you tighten them dont pull then upwards it can ruin the eyelets pull them out to the sides with two fingers or one finger so i doesnt ruin the eyelets
That's just when you're baking them, cuz theyre soft. However when they're not baked, it's completely safe to pull them upwards
René Siner I never said it wasn't safe i just said it is a tip... becaus eit can still ruin them if you oull them too tight upwards because it will rub.
My arches hurt too much when I tighten the laces on the top of the foot. I usually snug it and do the ankle tight as possible.
This may be because your skates are too big for you, how far are your feet from the end of the toe box ?
Alfie Bailey they’re fairly close to the end. I had them fitted and put in an oven at a skate shop.
Alfie Bailey also, when I don’t tighten the laces on top of the foot I don’t get arch pain. So I just roll with it.
@@jackal1776 right ok so they are definitely the right size, have you tried a different footbed that would adopt your arch better, you could get a heatmoldable one or go for ones with shallower arches, superfeet or bauer do some good ones from what ive heard
Alfie Bailey I’ll definitely check it out. Because as it stands, with tight skates I can only skate for an hour then it becomes too much to bear.
I've been skating for 9 years of my life well maybe even more I've been getting since I was very young but I never tried this and tomorrow I'm going to my skin off and my hockey game first one of the Season I'm in a group today I shouldn't be telling you guys but yeah but I never tied my skates like this I will do that tap it I'm looking at a lot of videos because you never know how much you need but thank you so much for this video my first time Skating in a long time cuz I broke my ankle I couldn't skate for a year broke my leg couldn't escape for 2 years broken down cuz it's gay couldn't escape so I've been off for like 7 years but I've been doing it since I was five can't wait to get on that ice and just skate around I asked my mom when's it open she's like I will walk by today and she's all she can hear is the puck slinging I'm like oh my God I wish I might Escape I'm getting them tonight look I can't wait it's 2:00 a.m. sorry guys peace out love you guys thanks for the tips
Or get the right size laces
lottsalasagna the laces are always too long
3:22 I’m not sure how the laces can slide up and cut your ankle when your ankle is lower down inside the skate 🤷🏼
i love you
I use a trampoline hook.
I got a slm900 hockey skate from canada (the skate brand is not bauer)
The skates this man is wearing is bauer
I got bauer...
I have the Bauer 1s supreme
Gucci skates😂
This may sound like a stupid question, as I have never been a hockey player. But WHY are laces even NECESSARY? Wouldn't ridged CLAMPS be easier? Is there an advantage to laces over clamps?
The clamps hold too tight, and would destroy the boot over time
Hockey skaters need more agility and movement in all directions. Clamps are good for stability but bad for agility.
Unfortunately, they tried this in the 90's. The company was called lange. They no longer exists. So much for clamps
What skates are these?
The APX2 generation of the Vapors. X60.
12T90 LSD25 lmfao

fyi your skates dnt needa be that tight lmaooo
For real, my feet were screaming just the way he tightened his skates. He probably has like C-width feet lol
The Waffle House Has Found Its New Host
