I have just started getting into plants this last year after the loss of my cat. I have found growing and caring for plants as a way to cope with the loss and has given me a new hobby. I have really gotten into collection Begonias as they have such a wide range of beauty. They are all unique and just love watching them grow flowers and spring out new leaves. Begonias are one of my favorite favorite favorite plants. I love angel wing or cane begonias more so than Rex Rex are beautiful but harder to care for. You must have the Rex begonia care down pat yours are beautiful beautiful beautiful! I think I found a new plant friend someone who loves begonias just as much as I do I think they're one of the most neglected plants species out there everybody's out after the rare plants and I'm just as bad as everybody else but if you want somebody to really love you back with beautiful flowers especially the ones that have the grape like cluster of flowers begonias are the one thanks for a great video

I know I'm a begonia addict now because I bought 3 new additions in the past week for a total of 10. Just welcomed an escargot into my home and I think it's about to flower! My favorite is the maculata. Also I realized that I watched this video before but kept watching for the foliage lol. :D

Hey there! I thought that since you do such an amazing job with your Begonias that I'd suggest a couple for you to check out. They're kind of like the David and Goliath version...lol. A friend's mother gifted me with a Beefsteak Begonia which has been a dream to grow. And I recently ordered the cutest Little Darling Begonia which is giving me fits! I want to see it do well because it IS so cute, but it being more of a Little Bastard than a Darling...😇...really enjoyed this video and seeing how well they are all doing. Thank you!
I know that this is an older video but, if you ever need help identifying, try Steves Leaves. He has a huge collection of begonias, and they are his speciality. He creates his own hybrids as well.

Your begonia's are absolutely beautiful. I am impressed. I live in the desert so I can't even consider begonias and ferns so I have to live vicariously through you. Maybe you could show us your fern collection next? Now cactus I got down but not much else due to excess heat and lack of humidity. I loved #10 un-named begonia with the silver veined leaves and the pale pink blooms. Thanks for giving us all some begonia inspiration.

Absolutely stunning!!! I love begonias. I just started collecting a few. My recent begonia was hard to find it’s a Begonia Maculata Wightii’. I also have My special Angel wing begonia. It’s easy to keep collecting them ,but I’m running out of room with all my philodendron,Calathea and just to name a few. Lol loving your videos 🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿

i just bought a begonia and mine didn't look like it was in this video. The tops of the leaves are green back is purple and it has huge yellow stalks...........what the hell kind is it???

Fantastic video! Can you tell me what is the humidity percentage in your begonia room and how do you know when to water them?
Suzanne Alden some don’t need humidity, some need a lot, some have to be in a terrarium. You have to research each one. Same with watering, it depends. But for most house plant types, I wait until they’re totally dry then I bottom water.

How do you water them? I have so many but I am struggling with them, apparently, I am overwatering them, I find that when I give up on them and ignore them is when they do best, but then I go to water them and they start declining, clearly I am doing something very wrong. Any advice will really help thanks :)

What humidity level are they okay with? Do you have to use distilled water or is tap water okay (I have pretty hard water)? And lastly, do they need high light levels?

I use tapwater on the majority of my begonias but I don’t know if my tapwater is soft or hard😬
I find that all my begonias need a considerable amount of light💯
