So frustrated that it's been ages and this musical has yet to see an English stage outside of a couple concerts. I need the full fledged story told, but I do think their ending of the musical kinda sucks and would want that tweaked, but otherwise such an amazing potential story to put on English stages
Id counter that this is the only good ending. you cant have the story without both light and l, and Ryuk being petty and writing lights name once hes bored again is *extremely* in character
@@Avaricehere Idk, last I saw it they made it almost inescapable to what Light did whereas I would've liked it to be more of an ironic "well you shouldn't have beaten L because the battle was the only thing keeping me entertained and keeping you alive." But they didn't really emphasize that at all and it seemed like an obvious nice way to stick it to Light for being so smart but missing the obvious.

@@silentsapienplayz I wouldn't call it a rock musical per se but Frank Wildhorn (who created this and wrote the music afaik) also made the music for the Jeckyll and Hyde musical and it's phenomenal, check out 'Alive' and "The Confrontation", you won't regret it
