@jl_finesse when you tap something, the phone typically plays an animation to make things look smoother e.g fading, sliding. .5x animation scale makes these animations faster. Off means that there's no animation altogether so when you tap an app to open it, for example, it just appears instantly.

I don't think it's wise to disable the sensors because I don't know if, for example, if you lost your phone, you could locate it. I don't know how exactly this function works. Why not just turn off GPS and Bluetooth when not in use? As for the screen refresh rate, I don't find it cost effective or beneficial to "force" the highest screen refresh rate. Isn't that an unnecessary drain on the battery in some situations? Anyway, have a nice day, life and Merry Christmas! :)
Hey i noticed that you are using 3 as your mobile data service, i just have a question have you noticed how 5g never works atleast for me, do u have any idea how to fix it?
Can you please do a similar video for Poco F3 as some of these settings are not in the Poco Developer options. Example, Sensor Settings and others. Thank you for this very informative video. 👌
I'm guessing it's if people want to skip to the chapter they are interested in - they don't watch the entire video and therefore will only hear it once.
Does anyone know how to save the changes I've made on Developer Options. I turned off animations and windows and was able to turn off and it was saved, however when i updated my phone it was lost and I haven't to leaves it open
I've been using the "regular" size pixel 7 for 6 weeks. I'm coming from using an LG-V20 for years. Here's my thoughts......... One of the reasons that I used the V20 so long (besides the changeable battery) is that it had a separate 3 line screen at top that could be set to show my next appointment. Pixel 7 provides this feature on the top of the home screen in the "At a Glance" display. Normally it just shows day/date & Temp, but can be customized to show 10 or more features plus linking to apps such a calendar, including next calendar appointment or task for today. The 7 and 7 pro have the best camera/video quality and features bar none. I spent a long week over Thanksgiving with family in San Diego CA shooting lots of photos & videos. The phone's "artificial intelligence (AI)" combined with the included Google-Photo app gives the most useful tools to make a photo better.... even after saving the photo. I even was able to use blurry photos from my Nikon camera by "un-blurring" them with the phone. The zoom features (optical & digital) are outstanding. The "Pro" version has a 3rd optical zoom lens that can really go far. Because these are "Google" phones, they cross-link all Google-apps effortlessly to other Google apps and phone features, including "Nest" cameras. So, if you use g-mail and have an email with flight info, this info will show up in "At a Glance" when needed (if you want it to). Screen brightness is great to use in daylight. Speakers work well "and together". Note that you can't mirror (or Cast) your Pixel's phone's screen to a big TV like other phones using the "Miracast" technology via Wi-Fi Direct (like to a Roku streaming device). Pixel phones only "Cast" apps via regular Wi-Fi router through the Google "Chromecast" dongle that you plugin to TV using HDMI port. Battery life between charging is great and getting better. The phone has many settings (with Android 13) that can be used to increase this. There's also a setting to increase the overall battery life by not using quick charge if not needed by spreading out charging overnight. Google uses the word "adaptive" with a lot of features, including battery, to allow the smart part of the smart-phone to make a lot of stuff better.
