Rare Archive Whisky - SMWS x Whisky & Alement May '24

Melbourne SMWS Partner Bar, Whisky & Alement, are continuing their tradition of cracking open a different bottle from their archive collection every month.
May is something sherried and oh-so-tasty! Keeping in tradition with May's "dessert" theme, the W&A team have cracked open Cask 35.196 A Moroccan 'snake cake'. Matt Bailey returns with Lachlan Watt to talk about this cask's history with the bar, as well as discuss white wine cask maturation (of which this is).
You can find this archive bottle at Whisky & Alement in Melbourne from today - Monday, April 22nd, 2024. Additionally, the entire May Outturn will be available to try by the dram and half-dram on the bar as a special preview. What a treat!
