Rare Archive Whisky - SMWS x Whisky & Alement June '24

Melbourne SMWS Partner Bar, Whisky & Alement, are continuing their tradition of cracking open a different bottle from their archive collection every month.
June is all about the Scotch whisky festivals in Scotland - so in accordance with that theme, June's archive bottling is a 20-year-old Fèis Ìle bottling released in 2017 from Distillery 3 - Cask 3.299 Sweet smoke on the water. Matt Bailey returns with Lachlan Watt to talk about this cask's history and how incredible it is that we get to taste a 2017 bottling of 20yo single-cask spirit from this famed Islay distillery.
