    Love the candid insight/perspective on such quality guitars! A Skervesen Raptor was my dream guitar for nearly 10 years until got my hands on an Ormsby Hype Machine. Glad to see someone as yourself repping such an amazing instrument. 🤘🦖

      I’d be more than happy to let you check it out! There is some really cool circuitry inside.

    On the backplate you have the name of the man who designed the Viper Headstock in this model. I also have a Raptor from this anniversary series, great guitar.

      Yes! I’m friends with one of the USA employees at Skervesen and he pointed that out to me when I got the guitar. It’s pretty cool!

    Great video! How’s the guitar neck? I noticed nut width is slightly larger than 43mm, which makes me think it will match ESP Extra thin U and Wizard neck?

      I ended up selling it because I found the neck to be too wide for my liking. Sounded and looked perfect, but the neck needs to work. Wizard is thinner and the U feels a bit nicer personally.

    duuude i want one ahah, asked them if they’d do a truss rod heel adjustment on a raptor and they said not yet, they told me they’ll release a skerv with a truss rod wheel adjustment model soon but not on the raptor yet, guess i’ll have to wait ahah, but they seem super good

    That’s not a flame maple fretboard, not flame but ‘maille’ (in french, I don’t know the right word in english, is it mesh?)

    I would have definitely just put new pickups in that Blackmachine B6 but you do you lol

      It would've been pickups, wiring, and hardware. I have specific needs and preferences for my main band and I would've gutted the guitar to make it work best for what I need live.
      It was a better choice to leave as is otherwise it would've killed the resale.

    Serious concern in terms of versatility - no middle single detected.

      It has all the options that I personally need! Never was much of a strat player or triple hum player myself, but I still get the appropriate split tones that I need on tour and in studio😁

    The necks are very thick. As an Ibanez and a Schecter fan, these guitars are NOT for shredders!

      I disliked the neck, and that's the ONLY reason I sold it. It's very wide.

      How would this neck compare to a jackson RR24 or esp/ltd

    • @tarkgundogdu8940
      @tarkgundogdu8940 6 місяців тому

      @@user-en5mk4nv6vthat Jackson has a shredder neck but the shape of the guitar may cause some trouble to access the treble frets. ESP/ltd have different necks on different models, but generally super strat models have thinner necks which are better for shredding.
