Made in my hometown! Haarlem, The Netherlands 👀 Been to their workshop and I was in a band with a guy that works there. Really innovative company and absolutely worth following since they're growing quickly!
I recently got my 060R from Aristides. I agree 100% with everything fluff said here. they're not cheap instruments, but they are absolutely rock solid. Mine came to me direct from the netherlands, and after a 5,000 mile flight it was IN FUCKING TUNE. OUT OF THE BOX. IN TUNE. blew my mind. I adore my aristides.
I have the 070R with Floyd rose tremelo and Ragnorok pick ups and to this point. Im not sure I would go back to anything else. They make incredible finishes and you can basically add what ever style of pick ups, base type, finish, toggle switching. I love mine for sure, and I would recommend it.
fully agree, I've had PRS/Caparison/Mayones and while those are top notch. My Aristides just have something special with them. My 070 has a set of SD Black Winters and I've never tried a guitar that nails split tones like an actual strat unless it's Fluences or some lower output pickups.
That guitar sounds great for not being wood. Love your videos Fluff. Can’t wait to see you and the guys in Dragged Under on the 24th in Fresno, California
I think I played that exact guitar at our stop in Seattle. He came out to hang out with Kyle from Vitriol. He was a really nice guy, and that guitar played great!
i am completely in love the look of these guitars. the matte finish is *chefs kiss* beautiful. im guessing because they are not made out of wood, it would increase sustainablility and durability, no?
People pay a lot more for lesser guitars. Considering they are custom made to order and their work is impeccable, it’s not really that much. These are world class instruments. Not exactly a first guitar for sure.
I first got interested in them from Nothing More. And me being a HUGE nothing more fan... I’m very intrigued... and I too love the HomeTeam, my band shared a basement at a house show with them little over a year ago in Colorado.
@@brianb4877 Well, it still has a truss rod, so I am going to say you may still need one. At least the manufacturers don't have the confidence to say you won't
Does this guitar not have a truss rod? Also the indentations on the body and headstock look cool for 10 minutes but after that I think I'd rather have a guitar without them. Lastly the back needs a better design in my opinion. The translucent back seems cool but there is so little going on inside the guitar I think that I would prefer just a piece that matches the color of the body to hide the components. I feel like translucent parts need to be justified with led lighting or something like that. Otherwise making it blend into the guitar body would be preferable to me.
Is this an infomercial? "Popular" guitars? I would describe Fender, Ibanez, etc. as popular. Usually really appreciate the videos. This was disappointing. Didn't mention construction of body or neck other than to say "not wood".
Dustin Brooks $3000 because these are made by a small Dutch company that puts the most insane detail into the craftsmanship of their instruments. so you’re paying for the proprietary material they developed, all the man hours that go into crafting one (they still fret it by hand, paint it with an actual painter, etc), aaaand the euro vs usd difference. about the same price as any custom shop including Fender, Ibanez, Gibson, etc
Chad Neville a lot lighter than a LP, Chad. The traditional model anyway. Maybe like the weight relieves ones. I had a LP years ago and that thing would make my left shoulder ache after a gig.
once you get a whiff of this tone, you can pick it out anywhere. it's all over that last Nothing More record. at least one song on the last Periphery record. it's a kind of... quack?
Well it started as a stupid joke. Metal reacts to temperature changes just like wood. But not as much. Of course that depends on the type of wood vs metal etc etc. Again it was a joke. Oh well.
Am i the only one who thought it was Fluff’s dad who was trying out the guitar?
But he have a daughter lol
Right there with ya man.
Yeah, it's weird when "dad" is younger than I am.
Not only did I think Fluff's dad was going to try the guitar out, I'm legit disappointed he didn't.
Dude wants to start a kink on here where he's the subscribers daddy?
Every demo of these I've seen pronounces this brand differently
Oisin McPhillips Aris-titties 😂
I feel like Fluff contacted the company and asked them.
Oisin McPhillips
Its the piezo of guitar brands
In greek it would be Are- is-TEE-dees
Air-es-tee-dez
At first, I thought Fluff was referring to himself as "dad"
Edit: Oh.
1:17 Fluff with a decent clean tone.. Am I Dreaming?
Matching the shirt to the guitar. That's a power move right there.
They both match his purty baby blues 👀

I just placed an order but I am undecided on the 060R or the 060SR, thoughts on multiscale?

I love how durable they feel. Especially to people who don't really care about fancy tops and all that.
Does Fluff finally have an actual clean tone now?
He's babysitting that too.
I have an Aristides 080s. Best guitar I have ever played! They are totally worth the price.

The quality of your reviews have gotten so much better in the last few months! They're looking great, structure and quality wise
The fact that you played deadbolt on this guitar makes me so happy!!!
nobody leave this place without singing the blues!...love that movie! :D
That guitar sounds great for not being wood. Love your videos Fluff. Can’t wait to see you and the guys in Dragged Under on the 24th in Fresno, California
That color thoooooooo +1 for the God called in sick today riff
And his shirt even matches the guitar...
@@clemensmoeller4549 oh yeah you know he planned that haha
Great tone wood
I think I played that exact guitar at our stop in Seattle. He came out to hang out with Kyle from Vitriol. He was a really nice guy, and that guitar played great!
I caught that old school AFI riff bro! Totally behind that Bub!!!! Heck yeah! Thanks for that, made my day!
Caught those Thrice "Deadbolt" and AFI "God Called in SIck Today" licks. NOICE! Those are classic rock now. We're so old.
i am completely in love the look of these guitars. the matte finish is *chefs kiss* beautiful. im guessing because they are not made out of wood, it would increase sustainablility and durability, no?
All the props for the AFI riff my guy.
Afi ! Glad to hear you play that
"Today on rasputin gear..."
The colors are on point. I would rock that too.
My mans broke out the Thrice and AFI riffs from the early 2000's..HOLLA!
He started playing Deadbolt as I read this comment haha
I have the same pickups in my Mark Holcomb signature prs and I love them
I love that Deadbolt's riff!
yess amazing song
best guitar in the world! love from a 070 owner
I took an 020 in trade for a Gibson 339 and yeah. I looooove it. The only thing I could say would make it better if if it was an H06 :D
Thank you for playing AFI
Thrice by Deadbolt at 2:34!
I'm so glad bright shiny colored super strats are getting cool again.
Nice pulling out that old AFI lick from God Callen in Sick Today. Maaaan that took me back
This guitar is parfect looking good for me in every way..
Thrice and afi.... great songs!!
The home team is imo one of the best current pop punk bands
0:33 Goddamn! That's probably the most brutal riff I've ever heard you play!
Clean sounded great
Very nice baritone obsessed tee you have there fluff!
What was that at 3:50? It almost sounded like Dirt Room from Blue October but I'm pretty sure it wasn't.
Does anyone know the riff at 2:30
Deadbolt by Thrice
It was supposed to be deadbolt. 🤣
DUDE!! YOU AND THAT BEAUTIFUL GUITAR ARE BEASTS!! 🤘
You got that great shirt on again, would love to see more baritone stuff here!
They have a T-style variant coming which looks sick
I think it is available to order now....
just got one and it's amazing, I think for tele fans it retains that vibe.
That.
Thing.
Looks.
Fucking.
KILLER.
Thats such an eye catching color
My favorite videos on your channel is when you review guitars. That way, we get to see guitars we are not familiar with, and we might want to get one.
At first sight in the livestream I thought it had the BKP-Aristides Pickups but now I see it has Duncans. D'oh!
I love that blue finish 💙😍
Things I didn't know I needed until right now
Is that a Baritone Obsessed shirt?? Hell yeah, Fluff! Keep on rockin! \m/
I love everything about it. I just cant imagine how any guitar could be worth that much money.
#shitpoorpeoplesay

Now a film major, I had seen that film as a young kid.
That first breakdown you played caused me to damage my nervous system due to being out in public and being unable to headbang
My 11 year old self is FREAKING OUT at that color
What Seymour Duncan pickups set was in the guitar?
My guess is the Mark Holcomb signature, I think they’re the only Duncan’s that have black screws. I’m not 100% on that tho
1:50 labels them as the Alpha and Omega, seems like it.
Dad, coffee and riffs.
...or "Don't tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead"
I am getting a 060s tomorrow.
That is one beautiful guitar ❤️
Holy shit That preview riff went hard
230/ 305 ..totally dig that riff
Started singing AFI after the demo.
When you start playing the clean riff at 1:15- I always think you’re about to play “Stayin’ Alive”
Totally fan of the matching Tshirt!
My buddy Matt Perrin has a couple of these, his band Angelmaker are killer
love the ENGL! I like everything about the Aristides but the shape of the headstock.
I first got interested in them from Nothing More. And me being a HUGE nothing more fan... I’m very intrigued... and I too love the HomeTeam, my band shared a basement at a house show with them little over a year ago in Colorado.
Mark Holcomb’s alpha & omegas for the win
/m\
little bit of AFI there. Nice.
Great matching shirt for that guitar. Never knew you were so fashionable.
Is this brand the cure for setups?
@@brianb4877 Well, it still has a truss rod, so I am going to say you may still need one. At least the manufacturers don't have the confidence to say you won't
What up Fluff, love those fiddles
Damn been awhile since ive heard God Called In Sick Today.
ITS BEEN AWHILE
@@spartan_xbox7169 Is that supposed to be a Staind joke or a grammar correction?
Adventures in babysitting....retro goodness right there!

Was that Deadbolt by Thrice?
Great Video, it would be cool if you could show off more of the phänomenal sustain of these guitars with some solo sounds.
"Don't nobody leave here without singin the blues" Albert Collins in that movie. You forgot to mention that these guitars run around $3000.
Is this an infomercial? "Popular" guitars? I would describe Fender, Ibanez, etc. as popular. Usually really appreciate the videos. This was disappointing. Didn't mention construction of body or neck other than to say "not wood".
Because they use composite materials?? Lolol
@@tjstips808 That's because bolt-on, neck-thru, and set neck construction aren't accurate. They made with various layers in a mold.

I understand all that. I just wasn't prepared for that high of a price tag.
Nice tonewood👍
Nice Deadbolt Riff Fluff!!! 4 1/2 out of 5 beards
I definitely want a 070 version.
Aristides looks sick, Heafy uses one alot on his stream. 080 I believe, and I think he's working on a 090
mayones vs aristides vs strandberg. If you guys could only afford one of these which one would you pick and why?
Great info thanx
Do you happen to know what color option this is? Struggling to find a match on the site.
Aqua Green Satin
Interesting guitar. I'm thinking a cable would make a big difference. It has that "wireless" texture to it.
U r too cool and funny! 😂Thanks for the great review
Adventures in Babysitting the dishes are done man
That tbrice riff though ;)
Jackel Pun uses that guitar the Aristides 60
exquisite tone
I've been following them on IG for a while, Each one is amazing. Wish I could afford one.
Love the Thrice riff at 2:33
Nice review! Do I pay for a custom or do I buy a new Ibanez?
Aren't the Alpha and Omegas the set that Mark Holcomb uses?
I wonder how this material reacts when damaged, does it dent, chip, crack? I can drill new holes in it etc?
The finish can chip like any other. It's VERY hard to remove any of the shell.
Some Ramen should be able to fix it
Mr fluff I have 2 questions about the guitar how much does it cost? And how much does it weigh?
Base models should run close to 2000 usd. I still have a quote for a custom 060 with whatever I wanted for 3250
They're heavy like a Les Paul.
Chad Neville a lot lighter than a LP, Chad. The traditional model anyway. Maybe like the weight relieves ones. I had a LP years ago and that thing would make my left shoulder ache after a gig.
Another thrice song in a demo? Gonna have to say i love it
What wireless are you using ?
Caught that Thrice in there, fluff
once you get a whiff of this tone, you can pick it out anywhere. it's all over that last Nothing More record. at least one song on the last Periphery record. it's a kind of... quack?
Well steel do contract or expand depending on temperature. 😂😉
Not as much as wood
I think it actually expands more than wood. I may be wrong, but I'm sure the expansion rates of steel are higher than wood.
