Hard disagree with recommending an iPhone 13 to upgrade to iPhone 15. A15 to A16 is just such a small upgrade (+11%). iPhone 15 makes sense for iPhone 12 / 12 Pro or lower. Still only 23% faster than A14 from iPhone 12, so not really needed. iPhone 11 / 11 Pro -> iPhone 15 is a really decent upgrade though. A16 is 47% faster than A13 and iPhone 11 has no Oled screen.

I haven't kept up with the trends in the pricing. It doesn't seem like the trade-in value changes much from year to year. I was waiting for the new iPhone to drop so the older models get cheaper. I traded in my iPhone Xs and I checked on the trade-in value a few days before the keynote and then after the new iPhone release notes came out. I just lost $10 in trade-in value. Maybe the Pros might be different.
@@khairulfaiz7398 I think there will come a time when people think it's time for an upgrade/ replacement. People are seeing how much of a difference there is with the newer models. Personally, it was time for me. I was using the iPhone Xs and the battery needed to be replaced I was starting to have some issues with the phone and my storage was filling up. Probably around the three or four-year mark or depending on how much you use your phone, it's probably time to trade in or upgrade. Phones like everything else go through wear and tear. Remember when you were 14 and then 15 yrs old? Exactly, it was not a difference at all, it's the same way with iphone 14 to 15. The only difference is its called a 15
It’s never worth it for yearly upgrades if you ask me. Only 13 owners and earlier should be considering these, unless your job depends on it. Not to mention all the waste created by upgrading yearly.
No disrespect, But i do have to ask, does one even notice that theyre using a 15 pro over a 14 pro? Yes type C port and the screen on the normal models, but apart from that. Is it really such a big leap? Because all respect but I hardly noticed any major difference from the 13 and 14. Truth is I've used them both interchangeably and I personally forgot which was which until I took a closer look. Though im sure there are differences, but im no tech expert in the field who uses every latest "Innovation". I just use a phone as I normally would. Anyone else feel this way? I hope a video about this can be made one day. I appreciate new features as every other guy, but I truly doubt everyone uses them enough to truly distinguish all the time. Peace.
Currently having 11pro, some heating occasionally, battery efficiency getting worse, reception is bad. And no 5g Only good thing I like is the camera Is it worth upgrading to iPhone 13 or the 14?
I would upgrade to the regular iPhone 15 from my regular 13 but my only problem is that I don't know how remove my old sim card and put it on the new iPhone 15? I guess I have to go to my carrier to do it for me?
Does usb c, gaming, best camera matter to you? Then sure upgrade. If none of the above are game changers-then no need for upgrades. A 14 pro is basically everything the 15 regular is.

Well, the 14 pro max seems to be a great phone with a better refresh rate so will have a smoother motion on its screen but it will probably still cost more than the regular iPhone 15 and now that I have my iPhone 15 Plus, I am very happy with it. From what I have seen, the 15 Plus has a longer lasting battery, which is a big advantage. @@Y-me8rf
Yeah that seems like the right time to upgrade your phone if it is at end of its life.
I currently have an 11 Pro and it’s just the perfect size, perfect battery life, perfect camera quality for me. I would love to update now so my 11 Pro doesn’t keep losing trade-in value, but I don’t see a lot of reasons (in real world usage) to upgrade! I don’t know what to do lol

Just use your current phone..as long as it's still useful why bother need to upgrade
Replacing the battery could cost $89-$100 already.
trade it imo it will drop alot the value is gonna reach its lowest soon
I have used a MacBook Pro M1 2020 and an Android phone, specifically the Samsung S series. However, I am now thinking of switching to an iPhone because of the ecosystem with my MacBook Pro. In this scenario, I am still determining which model would be the best value for my money. Can you help me decide?
If you want a big one go for a plus model
Upgrading from iPhone 11 Pro Max to 15 Pro Max (blue). Photographic performances were already very satisfying with the 11. I’m excited to try the new model.

I’m keeping my iPhone 13 mini. I love the size and I’ll keep it as long as I can.
What's your battery health percent?
@@Fullblown671 for using 2 years it’s 84. But I think it works like 75 at max. It has gone very bad now.

@@committed2thecore Yeah, the iPhone 15 is impressive imho! I would get that but I do a little bit of photography that's why I pre-ordered the 15 Pro Max. I currently use a 13 Mini.
Currently have the 14. Really not impressed with the 15. Will probably wait for the 17.

I have iPhone SE (2nd generation). Along with new screen size, I am happily waiting for the chance to use dynamic island of iPhone 15 pro from my day to day life, and new smoother edges with better camera.
I have an 8 and still going strong. Frankly, i can get out another year or two at most out of this device. But with the USB C integration ive decided to upgrade.
still 60hz. wait on the 16, this lineup is a disappointment
Upgraded from 11 to 15 plus and hope it serves me well for the next 4-5 years.
As long as ProMotion 120Hz and Battery Upgrade is not brought to Base iPhone, its better to wait till next iPhone 16.
Guys i have iphone 7 plus its nice days I bought it when its new anyways its now old I should upgrade it to iphone 15 / pro ? Tell me in comments
I’m going from iPhone 11 Pro to 15 Pro Max, very excited!
@Bell-Crump Yes, it’s a great phone! Will miss it!
I’m from xr so I wanted to upgrade to 13 pro max but 14 pro max got my attention no need to upgrade to 15 pro max at least for now, I’m happy with the 14 pro max 😊
I'm still happy with my iPhoneX, nothing revolutionary yet to motivate me for an upgrade, at least for my needs. Will see what next year brings with the 16
Can you do another video comparison between the 15 and 15 pro? I'm torn and will wait to try them in the store. Is the 120mhz/Titanium/Chip worth it?
Sucks that the 15 doesn't come in white.
Notch is not ugly
Dynamic island sometime annoying they disturb you rnytime even when u watching movie n playing game
The colors on the base 15’s this year look perfect. They were too saturated before I thought. The way they are now just looks great. Still fun and colorful which I like but not overpowering
Hi, can you please help me cuz im confused about weather buying an iphone 14 pro max or the normal iphone 15?
@@Y-me8rf I’d rather have a 15
You can shoot 48mp HEIF on iPhone 14 Pro/Max as well with the new IOS 17.
Hope the minimum focuse distance is improved with the regular lens
I currently have the 12 mini and im seriously considering the upgrade. the only reservation I have is the size. I have fairly small hands and the mini was a perfect fit but I can't keep charging my phone 3 times a day and the camera is really lacking in the mini...
I went from 12 mini to 15, and the size isent to much bigger, I thought it would feel huge but I got used pretty quick, and the battery alone makes it worth it!
I've been using an iPhone 11 since January 2020. This year seems to offer a tempting series but, thinking to wait for another year.
I got 13 regular should I upgrade?Lack 120 hz sucks
Not at all it can run for another year or 2 then upgrade
Yeah but I need 120 hz for my eyes lol
@@johnnyblaze5551 ok ya maybe if the 60Hz hurts your eyes then you should upgrade
I'm getting the iPhone 14 for $600 on sale (in India). I think that's a way better deal compared to the iPhone 15 which comes at $960. Please tell me it is the right decision so I don't feel left out😂
It’s the right decision. 😂
Definitely The Better Decision 😭😂
For that kind of savings, you made the correct decision
Nah bro. Grab the Nokia for Snake 🐍
Nah bro get a 13 for even less
Why did YOU not mention that apple is still selling a 60 hertz display in 2023 for 800 dollars ? These creators are hypocrites and are not calling apple out for it !!
Personally I will not be upgrading. Sticking with me 13 mini. Perfect size for a backup/second phone
Is it possible to use the new “Fine Woven” case for the base model iPhone 15 on my older base model iPhone 14?
Its brighter but in my experience the iphone is useless in sunlight as it goes to dim after 1 minute in heat...does this phone still have the dimming issue?
Pls do a comparison between 14 Pro & 15 because they're close in pricing
If you don't care about the lightning port, then 14 Pro.
I have the same problem, when u decide please tell me
@@peterh.2488does the 15 or 14 pro have a better camera?
NOBODY BUY ANY 15! Save your money. Wouldn’t buy anything newer than 13 pro max or standard 12. No crazy upgrades since those phones. Battery on 13 pro max is insane very good camera and powerful
What's a better choice iphone 15 256 gb €1099 or iphone 14 pro 256 gb €1239? Help

I got an iPhone 12, but i don't know, if a choose the iPhone 14P or the iPhone 15..

usb c with 10 gbs and the action button alone make the pro model worth the upgrade.

How about upgrading from 13 Pro? To 15? Would that make sense ?
Does the screen still go super dim in sunlight? On the 15.
I am actually considering downgrade my 13 pro to 15 plus, which has brighter screen and longer battery life and larger screen… also don’t want to spend too much on promax
As someone who has a normal 14, I’ll pass.
Remember when you were 14 and then 15 yrs old? Exactly, it was not a difference at all, it's the same way with iphone 14 to 15. The only difference is its called a 15
I hate the dynamic island. Prefer the notch.
upgrading my 13 pro max to the 15 pro max. only thing is that I have to wait till the 3rd week of October to receive my 15 pro max.
I’ve got an iPhone 11, do you think it’s worth upgrading to one of the 15 models, and if so which one? :)
Peace.
Great review! Since there really wasn’t much difference between 13 and 14, so you feel it’s worth an upgrade if have the 13 model?
Yes
I want a Promax should I upgrade from a regular 12 this year would the extra 100 dollars be worth it?
Currently having 11pro, some heating occasionally, battery efficiency getting worse, reception is bad. And no 5g
Only good thing I like is the camera
Is it worth upgrading to iPhone 13 or the 14?
Yes I will be upgrading to the 15 pro from the iPhone XR.
I would upgrade to the regular iPhone 15 from my regular 13 but my only problem is that I don't know how remove my old sim card and put it on the new iPhone 15? I guess I have to go to my carrier to do it for me?
Is it really an upgrade though?
Currently have a iphone 8 should I upgrade to the 14 pro or the iphone 15 since they are basically the same price point.
Does usb c, gaming, best camera matter to you? Then sure upgrade. If none of the above are game changers-then no need for upgrades. A 14 pro is basically everything the 15 regular is.
Can u plz tell me which iphone should I buy? Iphone 14 base or iphone 15 base? I never purchased an iphone so yeah .
15 titanium
I am upgrading from an iPhone XR. At this stage, any current iPhone is better for me, though I went ahead and prebooked a 15+. Eager to see my screen scrolling faster than turning a real world newspaper page. 😂
