- It's been years since I've beaten Dark Souls 3, and I've never seen the DLCs. Now that Dark Souls 2 is over and has been added to the challenge rotation, it's time we repeat the process for Dark Souls 3! Let's see how the journey through Lothric goes.

Covenants are basically only useful for PvP and co-op. Since you are doing a singleplayer offline run, you can just use whatever you like.

Young white branches are mostly used for pvp ,they make you take the form of a near by object so that you can blend into the environment

Good guy tip: Selling your souls to the Shrine Handmaid nets you the same amount of souls as popping them does. Just saves you some time.
A small tip about the Flynn's ring,unlike in ds2 where it scales with max equip load,i believe in this game it scales with each armour piece,so to get more from the ring you should put on some very lightweight armour.
pretty sure that's not true, I am quite sure it scales with total equip load rather than % equip load.

I beat the game SL1 all bosses yesterday, really a fun challenge, hope you manage well!
(Also if you're going pyro get flynns ring and boulder heave, does a shit ton of damage and bodies the abyss watchers, you can get the onyx blade early too by shieldshoving vinheim over the edge of the cliff, that + using chaos bed bodies most of the game, more proof pyros are OP in PvE until you reach the demon princes)

firstly, congrats on 60k, but also a word of the wise on that big demon fight with siegward for your challanges, siegward CAN die during that fight. He has a massive hp pool so a lot of people say he's immortal, but it is possible for him to die during that fight even if it's very hard.
Dancer is basically DS3's DPS test, at least in the second phase. First phase is pretty easy, she's usually pretty passive there, but second phase has long-ass combos that will stagger you if you get caught in them, and then you're screwed. It's part of the reason Dex builds are so powerful in DS3; they can out-DPS every other build, especially with weapons you dual-wield. They get a damage boost as a 'reward' for sacrificing your shield.
Good ol' Kyle knew ahead of time how to get the mask. Good on ya.

Congrats another great video, I will say just to help you have missed corynx in undead settlement. He is available when you come out the church towards the bridge that leads to the giant. Go up the stairs to the right instead and you find him there. (I don’t want to be any more specific as it may make it less enjoyable if I do)

There are a BUNCH of enemies in this game that weak to fire, so if you wanna be a pyromancer lvl up your int and faith equally
There is an "early" soul you can get later which costs 20k, but you actually right a key can wait (also you can get a free one for killing an NPC) (oh welp nevermind)
Hodric is a beast GG for killing him! There were a video of someone summoning Hodric in later area on NG+6 as a "friendly" summon and he single-handedly practically one-shotted about 6 invaders
Raw broadsword is widely used on SL1 runs and it's pretty good
Saint's talisman is good yes
Actually, Firekeeper's soul is for mess up one of the endings

My favorite part of Dark Souls 3 is when you fight a dragon. A dragon that doesn’t YEET YOU INTO THE OCEAN WITH ITS TAIL!

Can't wait to watch this later tonight. I just (as in a day ago) finished my second playthru of DS3, where I completed the Ringed City DLC and some other things I didn't on my first run. Excited to see what your thoughts are after your second stab at this game.
After i finished ds2 i did a run in ds3 in honor of Lucatiel by using her hat and sword through the entire game, it was fun.
Finally, Dark souls III 2
Did anyone else get sad when Kyle used the siegbrau to heal instead of trading it to the crows for the sunlight armor? Sad Solaire has witnessed your actions and he is dissapointed.
I got 4 siegbrau's in one playthrough lol, he's got options.

A few tips for the dancer:
In phase 1 she's really passive and has long pauses between attacks, which you can use to deal some damage, while sticking to her butt.
When she enters phase 2 you'll want to run behind one of the pillars and wait for her to finish spinning. In this phase she's also a lot more aggressive and some of her attacks have insane reach, so it's advisable to stay near her and just run back behind the pillars when she starts spinning again. Her jump attack is always followed by a spin and the aoe attack where she thrusts her sword into the ground always triggers twice, but it leaves her open for some attacks afterwards.
Also she's vulnerable to dark damage, so if you have a buffable weapon, maybe grab some human pine resin or dark blade before you go into the fight.
Great tips, she is also weak to strike. I always fight her early. The best early weapon against her imo is dark hand which you can get after beating Vordt. It doesn't weigh anything does strike and dark, barely uses stamina, it also doesn't really scale or level up so it basically starts at max damage. The only weakness is it's short range. Other than dark hand you could go for level 20 or 25 health and the best armor you can and you are good to go. Still not incredibly easy but very doable.
If you do decide to fight dancer early, there's a deep battle axe in a chest on the dragon bridge. Should help.
On my first time i got scared of the giant and hit it. Then he agroed on me and i killed him. When i found out he is friendly i was really sad.

You need to stop rolling *away* from attacks and instead roll through them. With a few exceptions, that's always the safer choice.

Nah the Hollowslayer greatsword is great. Never used the spear so idk. Or do you mean boss weapons in general?

@@varunravani5205 Yeah both are pretty good you can't go wrong with either imo. I think hollowslayer is better against hollows. Seeing the cosplay Kyle is going for he's probably going to use it anyway.
Hollowslayer is pretty good. Does 20% extra against hollows, which Gael is during phase 2 and 3, which is how I actually beat Gael my first time. (First try too, but I had my friend with me and fought his Gael in his ng+ world first so I had practice.)
Idk if u know this, but you missed two important things.
1. You forgot to fight the tree boss in the undead settlement.
2. The area with the burning tree and the estus shard, to the right of that, there is a different path. Take it, trust me.
I killed yoel in my first playthrough because he asked for it ...
