0:23- As antagonistic as La Squadra are, the majority have applications outside of brutally killing their enemies, like espionage and locating enemies. And they try to be as professional as possible. Melone is the only one I can call inherently evil with an inherently vile ability- a lecherous predator that relies on impregnating a woman to give birth to a murderous attack drone that brutally kills his enemies- it sometimes doesn’t even obey him due to being an independent spawn due to the traits of its creation. And he does it from a safe distance; and as nasty as members like Formaggio, Iluso, and Ghiaccio were- they had the decency to face their enemies head on with their own skills to balance out their stands. Melone has an almost inhuman look on his fellow man, viewing women as breeders and men likely as potential lab rats to test his golems. The rest of the team tend to either fight in isolated areas away from potential victims or kill victims, but in a quick manner that’s usually professional. He’s the only one I could call a definitive lunatic amongst La Squadra
The theme of Melone is especially linked to his computer and mask motifs- some people with anonymity can be honest with their darker nature since they can’t be put to justice for their actions as they manage to hide the truth through lack of concrete evidence. Unfortunately for him, Giorno is not one to ever overlook definite acts of cruelty; so Melone dies as his actions as well as karma catch up to him- delivering justice.

He seeked the specific type of women probably because he is very experienced with his stand and knows that it gets the personalities of its "mothers". Because the Junior we saw in his arc adopted the harsh, rude and straight forward persona of his mother. Melone was amazed by it probably knowing that the "son" will have pretty strong personality

Honestly, I never liked Melone's death. I think that the stand Melone generates depends on the DNA sample. He can generate stands that have the opposite power of the sample subject. For example Bucciarati's stand is to create zippers on enemies. On the other hand, Baby Stand can deconstruct itself to escape from the zipper

I'll admit that I feel odd seeing the Junior so often referred to as a homunculus, simply because I don't think there was any description of it as such before I put into Wikipedia the descriptions of the Stands in parts 4 and 5 (although I think I used the "homonculus" spelling)--meaning, at latest, the beginning of Steel Ball Run's publication. I decided on the term, before I knew Melone called it "Junior", because I knew of homunculi being described as first manifesting as small children, although I've recently found that alchemy described them as starting out even smaller than a newborn. I'm not sure if I started something or not.
Granted that seeing how Babyface constructs the Junior according to pseudosciences, alchemy involvement may not be that much of a stretch.

Even tho part 5 is one of my least favourites (not bad, just not my thing), Melone and a few other laSquadra members are pretty interesting and well rounded characters. Also they feel like an actual group and it feels like they know each other.
