@ i will have one about the Balkans but as I am focusing on highlights that can be seen on a 2 week motorcycle trip it will not include Albania - however, I have been to Albania 4 times now for a good reason - I really like the country and its people 😉
You're too inspiring, my friend! Inspired by your vids, I'm already planning Norway in June/July and today I've just booked a week in Sardinia in April ... will probably use one of those days for a quick tour around Corsica. Best wishes for your guided tours in 2025.
Thank you so much 😉I can absolutely recommend Corsica too. Despite its close location to Sardinia it feels quite different Sardinia which I think is great. A week is almost a bit short but I guess you can always go back if you like!
@@MotoVibes Absolutely, yes. I had 10 days on the island, traveled around 1.100km and there are still so many roads to explore. Next time I'm bringing my ADV, so I can ride longer per day. Highlights so far: SS125 (of course) and the SP3 up to Siniscola.
@@MotoVibesMy Tuono V4 Factory. Which thanks to the semi active suspension is a lot more comfortable than one might think, but I encountered some very bad roads where the going got tough. Next time will be on a V85 TT for more comfort and range.
@@capz3217 That is the big advantage of the ADV bikes - bad roads are no issue and most still have plenty of power but the Tuono V4 Factory - man - that had to be a lot of fun on this dream bike😀
@MotoVibes it's a bit of a ride, but trust me on this, in my opinion even better than Sardinia. Also, if you don't want to do the long haul, I have a friend that rents out premium motorcycles on the islands.
Just a few notes (the ugly bits): - The car drivers don't give a F about you. They will cut the corners or use your lane at their discrestion. - Even though the majority of the roads are great, there are still some bad patches that "suddenly" appear. - After being a couple of times there, I still haven't figured out how to get food at a convinient time in a restaurant :D - Camping is very expensive, however there are really good camping sites. - When leaving your bike outside, make sure to not leave anything on the bike - I've got my bike pump stolen out of the soft bags. - When using the ferries: The cabines are well used and sometimes very F'd up. The AC will be on full blast throughout the night so your room will be 1. Cold and 2. Loud. Bring Slippers, Ear-Plugs and a beenie to protect yourself against the cold. What about Corsica: Basically the same, everything is a bit more expensive, the roads are not that good, the shores have clearer water for some reason. Worth visiting for sure, but don't bother on the small mountainous roads.
Thank you for sharing your experience with both islands! With regards to the ferries - that is unfortunatly the case for all ferries operating in the Mediterranean Sea - at least on the ones I have been on - ferries operating in Northern Europe, especially to Scandinavia are defintely of better standard
Weiß Gott, was UA-cam sich dabei denkt...😳
