omg! Just dawned on me that a Cricut would be perfect for cutting out a corset. No 'oopsies'. Could even make a leather one

Just a heads up - if you want people to watch several of your videos in sequence, and channels hoping to grow, like yours, do, I recommend shortening your opening title sequence. I'd cut it to at most a quarter of what it is now. I know you're proud of your work, and you want to show what you do, and your edit looks and sounds great, no doubt about that... but no one wants to see that again and again and again when watching your vids in sequence.
This "need" for an intro title sequence is a hold over from TV. I notice people who are older, like myself and yourself, who grew up with TV often make these long title intros, while UA-cam natives (people who grew up with youtube, who think youtube always existed! haha! Imagine!) will have a 3 second title sequence or less! Often they'll just have a tag line that they recite at the beginning of every video, something simple, but unique to them... "Hellllo guys, it's Tim here!" and boom they're done with their branding just like that. They know how UA-cam viewership works!
I can't recommend this change enough. This is the second video of yours that I've watched, and I was reaching for the play head 1 second into your title sequence. Hope this helps!

I actually agree, and it’s something I’ve been meaning to tighten up... I still like a small title sequence, but it needs to be a lot shorter... cheers

Totally agree. I've produced & edited hundreds of videos as a biz. Also any music MUST go away when the subject is talking. I mean 100% go away. Great video content, he is doing a great job.

Your project turned out beautifully. I just received a Cricut Maker bundle as a gift and SOOOO appreciate your videos I’m fairly new to leathercraft and want to learn to use the cricut with leather as well. So, to see you use it in this fashion was perfect! Also, I appreciate you’re being ‘real’ & showing yourself ‘learning’ the craft right along with us. It helps to have work-around solutions talked about (ie, importing the file into cricut design program/sizing issue). Thanks! Will be watching your videos for more with leather and Cricut!

This style wallet is exactly what I am looking to make! The link to the Cricut file doesn't seem to work for me, did you take it down? Regardless, thank you for the walk-through.

Great video brother and I really like the look of your wallet! I used to get funny looks from the ladies at the local craft store when I would come in to buy materials to use for my maker but now they all jump in to help me & think it's just great that a guy & his son are so into what I guess they don't see many men doing. To be honest just like you said it gives me a great feeling of pride to be able to use something every day I made with my own 2 hands as well. It's even more sweet when I can teach my son that he can do the same. Thank you so much for your help in doing so. Keep up the great work!

Okay, now...thanks to you, I've determined I must earn the $ to buy a Maker to supplement my Explore Air 2...you opened a door that was a bit open already, WIDE open; I'm thoroughly in for the Maker now. Working with leather is so very satisfying 💘

Nice. I have a silhouette, but I'm sure it will do basically the same thing. I'm just wondering why I never thought to try and cut leather on it. You have now sparked an interest. Thanks for the great videos.

Thanks! The Cricut maker uses a knife blade (basically a little exacto knife)... I know the deep cut blade (just a sharp pointy bit like the cameo) can do thin leather! Have fun!

Awesome! I got a cricut maker for wood and leather work. I use procreate for design. I found it can also cut out the holes for you. I made a simple leather knife sheath. What kind of ink pen did you use? The knife cutter can cut wood veneer.

quick question -- could you have cut this in paper and took a picture? I am a photoshop nut -- but just a thought. Each pic is then a image, layered in design studio -- all the rest is the same as you have done it

You said you use scrap leather. I'm new to leather, can you use used leather like from old jacket or old 80's leather pants?

I’d say used garment leather might be to stretched out and not lay flat.

Nice work! you kept say pound when you referred to the leather .. did you mean ounce? Is that the Cricut Maker you are using? What's the biggest piece of leather you think could be cut? Now off to watch some of your other videos! :)
