Picking one of these up next week, my first geared bike. Getting a feel for whether I want to do my full test or not. Any advice re things to look out for?
Got one 5 months ago. Carb model is better IMO. Indicators can be laggy - put WD40 into the indicator switch to fix it. Speedo can cut out intermittently - this is the fuses on the left side panel, put contact cleaner in there and replace fuses. Header pipes rust so look out for that when buying, it's about £300 for a new exhaust system. The bike is heavy AF, I'm 6'2'' and118Kg and the weight of the bike shocked me at first. The headlights are crap, you can convert to LED but it's a ballache. Overall thought such a good bike, no other 125 is built like these, you can feel the quality throughout and it's bigger than most modern 600+ bikes and with less plastic crap on it, and they hold their value.
@@TheOmniscientAtheistmine seems to be ok and I think I got it for a good price. Carb model too. Going to service it and give it a good once over before I do my cbt
