Europhoenix Class 37 review (remade) ~ Train Sim World 4

- After mentioning this locomotive in my West Cornwall Local review, I got the idea to revisit her. In other words, this is my updated take on the Europhoenix Class 37; one of the few gameplay packs in Train Sim World that I actually like.
This is an add-on for the Southeastern High Speed route, and it allows you to run Class 375 EMU drags with a diesel locomotive. My original review was made in March 2023 - soon after the Europhoenix 37's release - and it was much longer than it really needed to be. - Ігри
Ah man, those traction motors at the end - on a supposedly dead unit under tow! That is just sooo DTG. 😄
I'm surprised you had a change of heart at this DLC. I still remember in your original review you've said you didn't recommend it, but at the end of the day. I loved this DLC even tho it was a gameplay pack and the only one that was worth buying imo
Tbf sounds are pretty good, I have seen many over the last year alone and they are very similar sounding to this
Right on time! I just bought SEHS and I was thinking if I should buy the gameplay pack.
I was thinking you were going to do this yesterday, how ironic
Amazing video what is the route that the units you are pulling
The non-wonky looking 37. We need the others updating to this standard.
The sounds of the 37 are good however a little quiet.
Will you go a MML revist after the update
I'm pretty sure I already did, unless there was another update since and I just didn't notice.
@TheTrainspotterFromTauranga There was an update when volume 2 aggregates cam out and another when the latest patch dropped
Window glass is missing on the quarter light windows of the class 37 cabs (both sides), also the cab heater switches are broken .. flick left / right instead of up / down.
(NOTE: i am NOT protecting DTG with this.)
I believe the reason they made the reskin of the 375/9 in Southeastern ‘Ex-Connex’ White livery to represent the 375/9’s going to Derby Litchchurch Works to be repainted and refurbishment.
That makes sense, but even so, I still think it wouldn't be too much to ask to get another 375 variant.
Well, I agree that it is not bad of an add-on, I feel the white 375 is a little welcome addition, even though yes, we can do with more 375 variants. I also got the Chatham Main Line on TS Classic for free as part of the 15th anniversary sale, and while I much prefer TSW, it is at least good to take up the offer
I saw Dovetail promoting the free offer, but I've already got the route myself. Incidentally, as I write this comment, I'm editing a video that includes TSC footage of a Class 419 at Dover Priory.
@@DC4260Productions I had a run on the Sheerness Branch, but for some reason, the bridge was missing at Swale
I bought this DLC just to have a decent sounding diesel loco without the need to purchase another route specially for it. One timetable run in 37 is enough to bring a daily dose of diesel for me. And suddenly with all these additional 37s, 700s etc now we finally have more or less a proper route (for the cost of several AAA titles). Unfortunately Class 395 is still unbearable here on SEHS as the game stutters constantly on my not-so-potato-PC even in a tunnel between St. Pancras and Ebbsfleet, so...
still disappointed that they couldnt add the class 466 for the sake of immersion for the sheerness branch, in fact why is the sheerness branch missing in the first place..? seeing 4 car 465/9s run that service is just plain cursed.
Sheerness' absence is, in my opinion, the biggest issue with SEHS. Although I didn't mention it in this video because I've already done so in the past.
I am a plane spotter from Papamoa 😅
I would like to buy this dlc but I’m not spending it
