The ‘New’ Red Heart Ombre (sample at the end)

I love the new colors, but I would have liked to see them keep both colors and rename the new ones:)

Yes I notice the color difference in the solid colors. The aran color looked grayish. Did not like it. Do hope they work something out with these dyes.

This yarn is really confusing me. I went to Joann yesterday and most of the Ombre was made in India and it felt really rough. They had some made in Turkey that I bought in the color Jazzy, but I think the India one was brighter more like the old color. It just felt horrible though.

Yes, it is really rough. I tried to use some and ended up scraping the project as it wasn’t enjoyable to work with the new stuff.

Where is the new ombré made?.

They are made in three different locations now. Turkey, Canada, and India. They don’t always match each other either. One color can be made in any factory and therefore not match another of the same ‘color’. You need to read the label and get all for your project from the same country.
