    One thing that helped me was remembering to jump slightly forward and ahead of where you pop the tre flip. For example, if your riding regular, set up your body weight and be ready to jump a bit toward your 2 o'clock, or your 10 if your goofy. Tre flips always tend to be landed at least a few inches in front of whatever direction your body is facing.

    • @MrNickrandi
      @MrNickrandi 8 років тому

      indeed it is the exact opposite, you have to sort of lean back a little when jumping for a tre flip, jumping forward will not help and suffocates the trick.

    Spencer gives some good advice here with the learning how to spin your board out of control part and the landing with one foot part. To be honest though you don't really do a scissor kick, you can see this in the slowmo clips in this vid. Your front foot almost does nothing but stay straight and in reality everything is based on the scoop. I say its the hardest easiest trick to learn, once you wrap your head around it the trick is supper easy.

    I have the problem where when i attempt treflips, i do 360 shuvits and then when i try to put a little more flick into it, i do varials. Any tips?

    • @mrskates8728
      @mrskates8728 9 років тому +1

      Abdullah B It's really all in the scoop of the back foot, You don't need to flick too hard just enough. My best tip for you is focus more on shoving the board and less on the flick... let me know how it goes :)

    • @method341
      @method341 9 років тому

      +Abdullah B You have to scoop it towards your body more to get the flip. The front foot doesn't cause the board to flip it just acts as a guide so the board doesn't fly away from your body.

    this actually helps. I love how he actually breaks down the steps. and isn't like "foot goes here foot goes here flick and land" my problem is my back foot. and when I land them I tend to land in the front back foot in the middle and my other on the nose, any tips for that!?

    • @fasgufgasas
      @fasgufgasas 10 років тому +1

      Sounds like its your positioning over the top of the board when setting up for the trick bro, I had the same problem, make sure that your shoulders are lined up with your knees and when you do the flip jump straight up. The momentum when your skating will carry you forwards at same speed as your board so if you get a clean flip you should get pretty close to landing them. It seems like your leaning towards your nose when you pop the flip causing it to go backwards, same thing happens if you lean a little on the tail side only the board escapes from underneath you going forwards.Hope this helps...

    Isn´t the Tre Flip or 360 Flip, however the fuck you wanna call it, the MOST beautiful and classy trick of them all?

      Bit of a late reply but he does do a bit of a scissor kick. It's less of kicking your feet out to the left and right like he does in the example and more of kicking your feet out fowards and backwards.

    • @felipebenavides8213

      Cammy That it's because he has mastered the 360 in a way that he just don't need to scissor kick , he explains the scissor kick as a way to learn how to land it when you're learning the trick, once you learn it real good maybe you don't have to scissor kick that much.
