This is very cute! My friend has depression and he says this is the only thing that even makes him think about smiling. And it's just another thing we can bond on, instead of games all the time.
We have an awesome fandom! We donate to charites, we make epic artwork and animation!We make music! And lots more things! I love this fandom so much!

It's a vocoder
You know what's amazing? Here I am as one of those people who does all kinds of crazy things while he's around his friends. But this song expresses exactly WHY I do those things. And you wouldn't believe the laughter I hear whenever I'm playing games with my good friends and I screw up somehow. Everyone finds a way to make it into the winning move that brings out that last bit of missing morale for my team. Sail on into history, MLP. Bring joy to the world!
The original pushed me to the boundaries of tears. The smile project is such a beautiful song, its cause and the force behind it is truly something else.
I got happy shivers from this.
I've never even heard of those until I heard this song.
And now I have to pick up the pieces of my heart, which exploded several times. Again.
Bronies, musicians, viewers, whoever you are reading this: You are doing everything right. Don't ever change.
I was good at the start of this song. I was able to listen and think, hey this isn't too bad. Then Cyril the Wolf started belting out in that voice of his and I immediately broke into tears. I then proceeded to sob uncontrollably with a smile on my face for the rest of this beautiful song. For the rest of my life I will remember this song, and this community and I know I will shed many a tear when I hear this song and think to myself "us Bronies did pretty damn good." Thank you everyone.
I hope Lauren Faust and all the people who helped make My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic are proud of what they have done here. They managed to turn people who at one time were possibly simple lurkers and chan trolls into individuals who are willing to work for the sake of others and honestly spread joy to those of us who are not as well off. I know I will remember this song, this community, and this show for the rest of my life. Thank you guys so much. You have all made my life worth while.
THIS has not only made my day, or my week, or my month. This has made my whole experience here in the brony community culminate to a breathtaking speechlessness. This literally made me start crying in joy. We have done so much good and so much joy has been spread across the globe. More and more often now I hear Brony news from the community from non-bronies. This is absolutely incredible and I wish to be a bigger part of it now. ALL of you have changed my life so much. Thank You.

TheSwordofFlames 2012 was a pretty epic year. 2013 was sadly less so, and by the end of that year, the fandom was just gone for me. :(

What's a vocoder? And ya! Although I've noticed they've had trouble understanding him with the other voice.
The vocoder is what gives him his slightly robotic voice in some songs

Massive thanks to you, ForestRain for coordinating this, I'm proud to be a part of this song. In getting everyone on board with this project, you've made something wonderful happen. And if that wasn't enough... I got to hear Glaze's voice without a synthesiser in the way. Who saw that coming?!
This is the ultimate culmination of this fandom, and a great show of how something fun (and admittedly a bit silly) can bring people together to do some real good. To everyone who made this possible, and to all the pony fan artists out there all over the world, I salute you in classic Rainbow Dash style.
You have no idea how happy this makes me to see this. I've been apart of Bronies For Good for 6 or 7 months now, really haven't done much, but I've donated some blood here and there. And now we got Bronies donating on such a massive scale, you've made me proud today my friends. Brony for life!
This is quite amazing. One of the things that i love about this fandom, that they can come together and do projects like this. Be as cynical as you want, haters- im sure you have raised so much money for charities, promoted ideas of love and tolerance, and have done projects as amazing as these artists have done.

Despite not being involved in the talented side of the community, I'm glad to be able to call myself a brony.
What we're doing here is taking such a finite, trivial little thing we once had and changing lives on a massive scale, from the positive psychological impact we bring to people on the internet, to literally saving lives in Uganda.
You basically just described my relationship with my mother. For your mom to think that your 'mentally unstable' seems highly unlikely to me because if there is one person you can confess to about something that people find odd, it would be your parents, you can always count on them.

Wow, this song is absolutely incredible. You got 151 different people for the massive chorus? Now THAT'S what I call a collab! And they're all singing either beautifully or inaudibly, which is perfect.
Absolutely stunning! One of the greatest testaments to the brony fandom ever! huge supergroup-esque song,with people who can actually sing, ad all in the name of charity! Now that is a sign of good times ahead: A whle fandom dedicated to discovering creativskills, and utlising them for good. Brohoofs and hugs all around. This is why I love bronies so much.

Why I love the community
I go to bed early and wake up and oh hey. MASSIVE SMILE PROJECT! Best thing ever? Yes.
This is so wonderful! So many great musicians joined together (particularly liked hearing WoodenToaster sing without his voice filters).
Of course, there will always be people we WISH were involved (JackleApp comes to mind for me...where is he, anyway?)
But even so, this is just beautiful. And for such a good cause.
