Good to see you back out on the trail with a good attitude. It's best to get all the breakdowns and wear outs right off the bat, Now you can slide thru the rest of winter with good luck.
70 degrees sitting here in my sun porch wishing I was out there in the snow trapping n stuff. Not really, after 50 years freezing my ass off. Enjoy it while you're young. Life goes by in warp speed. Godspeed Andrew stay alert. Nail those lynx and wolverines ... we be watching
I’ve been a lifelong, hunter and trapper, but the last few years I have done neither. This video is inspiring me to get out again this season and get a line going. Thank you for contributing to UA-cam!
Happy New Years Andrew! You made a damn good point about starting the new year off right and positive! Too much negative out there. The view from the office is always amazing man!
Hey Andrew , I remember that wolverine video too - whoever it was , you were telling them to be careful cause of how dangerous they are , and the snow was deep . I remember you being very excited , but extremely cautious approaching it because you didn't know if it was dead or not .
Hey Andrew. Should try out Polaris 550 fan. I use a 2023 model and they’re light and could pull a yellow boggan sled full of woods. It’s like a bravo but more modern. No maintenance at all. Pretty sure the older Polaris 550 fans would be good. It has pull start too.
It’s so nice to walk in the bush with the snow but it’s hard enough to make a living trapping with a reliable snowmobile. Dam impossible without one. Good video Andrew.
Another great video andrew, thanks. Those bravos were great machines i owned two of them, they never left me walking.nice and light but the lack of suspension was a back breaker.cheers
Hey we live off grid and we have had that happen with generator s and then head to town to replace it and then the truck breaks down 😅😅😅 great video Andrew adapt and overcome you always did good with bravos too lol
Happy New Year Andrew. While you are out, you should grab some of those mink they're worth a couple dollars and they make good coyote and wolf bait. I'l sure it would work on those wolverines too. Tight Chains
Stanly your having the same luck as me I have thoes days to on the trapline, good job keep it going hopefully get your ski doo fixed soon and some furs
I like your style Andrew! Whenever I visit a new place, new city, new chunk of land, or anything I always love to walk and explore! You find so many things you would have missed just hauling ass driving by! Also can't say it any better than shit happens! Make a plan, figure out a way to make it work until it is fixed. It's all you can do! Complaining and whining doesn't help anything! I think you started your new year the perfect way! Here is to an amazing 2024 for you man!!!
Life goes on. It's good to see you with such a good attitude, wishing you the best for the new year, and looking forward to watching your adventures on the trapline
Great attitude Andrew. We all want to see you succeed and we feel your pain buddy. Keep on goin that-a-way, Skidoo or two feet and a heart beat, your content will always be great stuff. Happy New Year from New Brunswick
I hope 2024 improves for you Andrew, although you sure are making the best of it. Don’t they sa6 bad luck comes in threes? If so hopefully you got that out of the way. You have a great attitude! All the best to you and good luck on the trap line!
Great to see the trapline is back. Been following for probably 10 years by now. Are the mink not worth trapping in your area? I remember when you used to put a 120 i the back of your sets for the bait-thieves. Keep up the work and greetings from Finland.
Lol I grew up using bravos in Newfoundland..tough aa nails those machines are..I used to bust off trees with the bumper hahaha can't wait to see your yammie! 😂
Happy New Year Andrew!..........With all that misery that started your year, it's great that you can keep a positive outlook! Chin up and back at it, well done sir!
Yupp no time to worry about anything. I am just grateful I have a camp to go to after the summer wildfires. It's a miracle my cabins never burned! Stay tuned
Happy new year Andrew huge wave from Saskatoon .happy trails to yeah🇨🇦👍 .when the my father trapped muscrat and beaver we had Yamaha's 250 s 1980 fun times miss it
Other than gas hogs I've run a yamaha vk540 since 1994. Yamaha 340 enticer trapper models up to then. The vk540 has been one helluva machine. ....pull loads oh my gosh. Had skidoos for a short while to. Not my cup of tea I'll tell you. Had a bravo 2 winters...the trapper model. Good machine. But I do love my vk540.
Bravo longtracks are used alot by guys who trap in maine. Skidoo citation longtracks are another good one go anyplace and dont weigh a shitload if you get stuck. Plus good on gas .tight chains and cables my friend.
In the 70's-80s, the ski doo alpine, and the Eland were the king of the trap line. They didn't go very fast, but could go anywhere. Of course everyone needs a bravo.
@@brianhoxworth3881 1st sled was a elan and i agree it was only a 250 but went anywhere was easy to get unstuck and never left me stranded . Was a late 70s elan but my favorite sled ever. Shit for suspension ,had to lean to turn but would buy one in a cocaine heartbeat if could fi d a good one lol.
@derekwpennington1796 yeah, no suspension at all on the Eland. Artic cat had some bad ass sleds too. I lived in Valdez, Alaska then, we had to have a snow machine to go anywhere.
@@brianhoxworth3881 never had a artic cat except a early 70 cheetah, was fast but heavy as a god damn tank and at 13 if i got stuck it was there til spring lol
Awesome attitude Andrew. Every time I see a bravo on the buy sell I think of you. Frig, they want like $5k here in BC for a 2006! Hopefully you have some connections up there. Stay safe good luck
Damn you can't win for losings with your equipment.😵😵💫 Only thing that sucks about those long walk away shots is that you have to go back for the camera LOL Catch"em Up!!! I enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up
I remember that wolverine video . Thinking about it ,would you believe that I’ve seen every single one of your various videos and hope to see more. So you must be doing something right because even this down on your luck one is entertaining. Always light at the end of tunnel .The proof ,your starting to see that new ski doo!! 😅
Sorry to hear about your snowmobile and generator problems. Have you ever seen or heard of a Snow Dog track sled. They will run on dry ground and deep snow, 4 stroke, great on gas, tough as nails and a lot cheaper than a snowmobile. I use mine for trapping and to drag deer when the snow is too deep for the Argo.
Good to see you back out on the trail with a good attitude. It's best to get all the breakdowns and wear outs right off the bat, Now you can slide thru the rest of winter with good luck.
U know it. Get the kinks out I call it. Next outings smooth
I remember that video about shooting that wolverine! Awesome times!!
