This is another gem! I was struck listening to Ingrid, by how much her daughter Isabella Rossellini sounds like her! Joan is poised, gracious and classy as always!
In America, when someone is kissing the cheek of someone else on camera, it's very gracious to kiss the cheek facing away from the camera, so as to feature the other person. Joan made this appropriate gesture for Ingrid. Though a bit self-conscious, Joan was a good interviewer.

She was an amazing actress, lady and force of nature. So genuine. Being born in 1970 myself, I discovered her as a child after her death. My Grandmother adored her, so I discovered Joan through her.
