I widen my 700 by 4 inches in the rear and 3.5 in the front and it's a different machine. My buddy with a stock 700 rode mine and now hes getting his widened. Both fun rides but at my age the 700 is more comfortable lol.

I'm excited to get one eventually but it will have its time and place. It will be interesting to pick which one I want to ride for certain circumstances..
The power delivery on the Yamaha Raptor is just constant insane power from low end to top end. The power delivery on the 450's is much more like a two stroke, not as much low end but as the engine revs through the power band you'll suddenly feel the surge of insane power! Not sure what Hager's opinion is but it would be interesting to know 🤔😁
Dirtbike Videos The differences in engine size and design make for a different experience. The raptor has more torque and smooth consistent power. The YFZ doesn’t hit as hard from the low RPM’s. It needs high RPMs to build the power but once it’s up there it pulls very strong. The raptor is pretty soft and isn’t a stiff as the YFZ. It’s definitely more of a trail quad. The YFZ felt smooth at high speeds though, it seemed like the faster I rode it the smoother it was. Whereas the raptor is pretty comfy and fun to play on all the time. And the end of the day one is a trail quad and one is a track quad.
I'm having a hard time deciding if I want a dirt bike or another quad for next season. If I got a bike it would be a 2020 Kawasaki KX250. And if I got a quad it would be a 2020 YFZ450R. Previously owned a 2005 TRX450R.
Avery Gibson definitely different machines. I always tell people to think about what their friends ride. If almost all your buddies are on dirt bikes than that may make more sense. Either way those are both awesome toys and you’ll have fun on either. That new YFZ is pretty awesome!
So will this be your next quad??? Haha 56,000 people want to know! Or will you go another route mayb a trx450 🤔 just don’t get a kfx450 you will thank me later lol great video as usual place looks so fun to ride wish you were closer to me to meet up! Someday we gta make it happen!

I’d say the kx bc I have a yz250 and a yz125 and they are both so much fun
So will this be your next quad??? Haha 56,000 people want to know!
Or will you go another route mayb a trx450 🤔 just don’t get a kfx450 you will thank me later lol great video as usual place looks so fun to ride wish you were closer to me to meet up! Someday we gta make it happen!
ononewheel7 The YFZ will most likely be my next quad. I want to support Yamaha since their still supporting the sport! We definitely need to rip next season 🤘
Pete Hager dude 183k views 😵😵😵😵
I want a Yzf 450, but I got a free 2005 raptor 350. I can’t complain.
Hey Pete I have a raptor as well it’s a 2018 and I’m thinking about trying the lowering kits for the front and rear to lower 1-2 inches so sliding and wheeling would be easier but I have beadlock wheels on my raptor and wheeling is a challenge since the front end has more weight due to the wheels I put on.
I would like mine to be a little lower for handling reasons as well. Some beadlocks would definitely be nice!
Pete, id like to see you get an old two stroke 250r- never know if you might like it.
oh I'm sure it would be a blast! They're so cool! Hopefully someday I could own a machine of that caliber. One toy at a time lol
I have one and love it. I'm 41 now and haven't ridden it in 25 years. I rebuilt it, and moved away for college. I'll do a fresh up on in in the next year or two.
I DONKT KNOW GUYS BUTBI REALLY LOVE MY 2018 450R SE.NO COMPLAINS
😂
The yfz’s really are the best quad around! Only company still doing anything for the sport as well!
@@ononewheel7 by the way I love your videos and both of your machines even though your new one is pretty much under construction.KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND CONTENT AND THANKS...

all quads are great we just have to much fun riding them
CM MOTO exactly! 👍🤘
I would love to see what honda would have came out with if they would have kept building 450s
They stoped making them?
@@DeerPlot 14 was the last of the 450s
@@teamwoodswarriorsracing2004 Thats crazyyy , wtf are they put in its place?
@@DeerPlot nothing, sport quads are dead again, just like the early 90s everyone are going back to hybrids. Yamaha are the only ones building one
I heard about this too. I'm sure they'll make a comeback as there really is no substitute for actual quads.
thats a nice trx450r
It's a 2004 with a 520 big bore
Yes! Get a yfz
I love my 2019 yfz 450r
Zo Wattz i love mine as well!

Also so close to 💯k soon bro soon
Opinions on an LTZ400?
Odesity great bike
I love mines! Funny you asked because I literally just uploaded a short video of riding my 2005 z400!
Odesity the Z400 has the reputation for being the best 400 you can buy 👍👍
Owned a kfx400 from brand new in 06, still have it. Ride the hell out of it can't go wrong with kfx/ltz. Had and sold an 08 ltz to my friend he loves it, just solid dependable machines. I also own a worked yfz450. Love the yfz but it's nice to have reverse and not have to be on it all the time to enjoy it. Hope this helps!
@@PeteHager facts Pete!
Damn blaster had me thinking it was a banshee at first.

Same bro
I’m building a blaster for cross country races rn
Jordan thanks man
I just sold my blaster today😔😪
can you do a video about your gopro and filming setup
I did put together this video when I initially made my motovlog set up. ua-cam.com/video/GvMr1G5nO-U/v-deo.html I should put together a new one showing all my stuff, not a bad idea since its winter!
I have a banshee 350 with a 421 cub cat bore and i live near there so let me know when u rode out ther
Chrissie Reary-roark I would love to meet up with a banshee rider. What town do you live in? You should shoot me and Instagram or Facebook message and I’ll add you to my MN contact list 👍
lmao...I'm 1:11 minutes in and I'm like I wish that I had a new quad because I have a Blaster that my boss gave to me for free then I hear a 2-stroke out of view, I start to get a smile on my face, then it pans into a Blaster and now I don't feel so bad....LOL.
I’m mxer but damn both them quads are dope the raptor and the 450
Yfz is the best
Being completely honest I used to own a older carb modem yfz mild build pipe ect.and my buddy got a 2019 yfz 450r stock and I was not liking it. Had bad bog it runs okay but I just didnt xare for it. And before I actually rode one I did want one.but after riding a stock one I dont anymore. It ripped. But I expected morw
I have a 04 yfz freakin love it,, those was some awesome trails
Thinking about getting a racing quad. Probably a Yamaha but I dont no what to get??
I would lean towards Yamaha or Honda since parts are cheaper and easier to source. Theres much more aftermarket available for them.
@@PeteHager Yea was thinking that thanks
This is very good!! 😃😃
Eyy man love ur vids
This is dope!
Love the trails man!!
