Wonderful visit with Immaculée!
I want to add a Rwanda story...I spent the summer of 2003 in Douala, Cameroon as a friend of mine was doing a year of voluntary work. I went to spend time with her and I got to know some of the wonderful people she had made friends with. One of these families kindly invited Judy and myself for dinner on evening. It was an amazing evening. They shared their story with me. They had escaped from Rwanda during the genocide and had walked through Congo and eventually made it to Cameroon. They said that at the border they had no way to get through a group of Hutu fighters and put all their faith in Our Lady and asked her to cover them with her mantle and hide them from the killers! They walked out and straight past the gang of killers and crossed the border with no-one stopping them! That story still gives me chills!! This family were just like Immaculée... So full of joy and love! I will never forget them 🙏❤ Thank you so much Immaculée for all you do.
