The Lord delivered me from the spirit of Alcoholism 3 years ago. I was in complete bondage to it for 23 years. I'm so grateful that in His great mercy and love he set me free. Life is not perfect now but I have his peace through storms. When the warfare comes I pray now not drink.
I’ve been a Christian since I was 16. But when I was 25 I moved in with my family, discovered hard liquor, and it took over. It’s been eight years and I’m only now coming to terms with it. Putting the bottle down and getting my anxiety order that causes this behavior dealt with. Thank God He doesn’t let Him children go
Brother. Your life sounds like mine to a T. I was an extreme alcoholic. Hide bottles in the house, in my car. Drink on my breaks. Crazy. Drank for 27 years.
Prayed all the time. As soon as I asked Jesus to forgive me and asked him to come I to my life my addiction immediately disappeared. I no longer drink and not even a crave. I'm addicted to God now. Read the bible daily and God speaks daily to me thru scripture and videos like yours. Thankyou for this.

Alcoholism is a strong force of captivity. Just like nicotine and drugs etc. it’s very difficult to get away from. Almost impossible on your own. I totally understand where she is coming from. I pray that she gets delivered and that god touches her heart and uses her for mighty things! And yes god is good! 🙏😀

I tried for over a decade to give up drink. Heavy nighttime drinker but I could go 2 nights and then I'd need to drink on the 3rd night. Spent months praying for god to help me take it away. 45 days ago my prayers were answered and God delivered me from alcohol and took away my depression and anxiety away with it. I've had zero cravings. It's like I have never drank alcohol ever in my life. No way is that will power as I've not needed it, the devil has thrown so much at me to try and make me drink but he can't win because God has freed me 🙏
I’m glad the Lord saved and delivered him! For my husband alcoholism was his demise. My husband committed suicide in 2019. My faith in Jesus got me through. I pray that this guy never go back to living inside a bottle.❤

Just might not be when you want it to or when you expect it to. But it will happen. I pray you get delivered and are able to share a testimony. Trust me you are not alone in your struggles. I know so many people who have had these same struggles. But remember. Once delivered, you will no longer struggle with the battle of addiction. You’ll be free as if you never had an addiction to it. This happened to me in November of 2019 and I still haven’t ever craved a drink. I haven’t had a drop of alcohol. And never will again! Praise god. I pray in the name of Jesus that he takes away the chains of addiction that are holding you captive and that he uses you to reach others In the testimony that you will be able to share. Man, Thank you so much for this testimony. You have no idea how close our stories are. Though my addiction isn't alcohol, it's Kratom, and my prescription diazepam is starting to come close to a problem if I'm not careful. I'm trying to escape from the pain of Huge problems I'm having at home and the seeming deterioration of my marriage. Thank you for your honesty and relatability man. I'm starting to cry now... damnit.
Hey man, we all got our issues ya know. Addictions are real and they are strong. Some people can beat them with motivation. Some can beat them with others support. And most people need god to help them. Some people never beat addictions. But you’re alive and acknowledging you have a problem ya know. And you’re analyzing what creates your problems. That’s great man. It sounds like you’re headed in a better direction. You’re not alone brother. Jesus loves you man and I believe he can help you with your struggles no doubt. It says in the Bible “as a man thinks in his heart, so is he” if you believe things can happen or that you can do something and truly try. You can do it. And god can help you do things that you can’t do on your own. And thank you as far as my son goes lol. And No offense taken. It’s great that you love being a dad. I myself love being a dad. First time coming across your channel🙂. I've really enjoyed watching you and what you've said. My story is crazy similar to yours, but as I'm sitting here watching you, I'm busy thinking about getting another drink, to be honest. Had some earlier and now I'm craving again. I have been battling this addiction for years. I am in absolute torment every single day. I am so embarrassed and ashamed, since I am a leader God has made me responsible for so many things. I thank God that I am still doing what I need to do, I'm not really messing too many things up, I'm still honest and have integrity and do well etc, but this addiction is killing me. Please pray for me. My relationship with God is a lot better these days, I have finally stepped into what He has called me to do, I am ministering, I am trying to walk in obedience as much as possible, I'm praying a lot, in the Word a lot, I'm fasting, I serve at my church, I teach people the Word, I love what I do, I love people, many people love me and are inspired, I love the Lord so much and I think about him almost 24/7, but I just can't stay away from alcohol. I hate this life. Please pray for me😢
I'm struggling with Alcohol. I pray that I can fight this and God delivers me from this sin. I wanna be perfect for God. I wanna be in his Kingdom. Starting tomorrow I will begin to look for a church to find for My Family and I❤️❤️❤️

Praise God for changing your heart in this area! I watched the entire video. I encourage you to keep going to the church where you are at now and keep growing. Sounds like you are around some good people that you connect with and trust.
Recovered alcoholic for 38 years now. I started drinking at age 24 when I went into the Army. Never drank before that. Didn't become an alcoholic until sometime around age 30 to 32. At 34 I knew I was an alcoholic and I was very scared. My Son was on the way and like you I didn't want him growing up around it. I had a lay person I could talk to who was a Navigator Rep in my city. He began praying for me as well as others. I was a believer, but I had become trapped in this addiction.
I felt like I was in prison with the addiction. I didn't want to drink but I couldn't stop. I hated where I was at with it. It took me two years to finally break the stronghold, but March, 1986 was the last time I drank alcohol. And I never wanted to go back to it. I was so grateful to God for being free of it.
However, there was a lot more wrong with me inside than just being an alcoholic. Some of that got passed onto my Son because I didn't remain being discipled and going to church. I've had an on again and off again relationship with Him over the years. That's why I am encouraging you to keep going to church, meeting with a small group of Christian friends, encouraging one another. God will keep sanctifying you and hopefully your Son will grow up around a Dad who has changed enough that the things from your past don't impact him. God loves you and your family very, very much. He brings trials into our lives to grow us up in the faith. Always believe He loves you, no matter what happens.

This gives me hope! I am so frustrated right now because I can’t shake the craving for alcohol. I stop drinking for a week and then I have a drink again. I have no joy and I feel like the only time I “feel good” is when I drink. I don’t like being a slave to it and I am 58 and have been drinking since I was 15. I am hoping Jesus will do the same for me as he did for you.
You can do this! Hang in there. One day at a time and forgive yourself when you make mistakes. Surrender to God's will for your life!
You know in your hear you can’t quit on your own. That’s a powerful place to get to. Only then when you are freed from the grips of alcohol you will completely know it was by the grace of God. He will step in & deliver you the moment you make him your Lord & savior. Choose him over the alcohol. He will deliver you
He delivered me after I CHOSE him. I pinky swore to him I would never take another sip for the rest of my life…. That was Dec 31st 2020. He delivered me in an instant

You just gave me hope. Your goal was to be done before your son was born. Jesus was 33 when he died on the cross. My goal is to be done before my 34th birthday in March. I just want so bad to not even crave much less think about drinking. Thanks again for sharing.
I’m so happy to hear that the power of testimony is so strong and true. I’m also happy that god used my story to reach others like yourself. He definitely freed me of my addiction a few months before my son was born and that was in November of 2019 when I was delivered. Still to this day I have not had a drop of alcohol and I have never once had a craving or temptation for it. Jesus literally broke the chains that held me captive. And by the way my birthday is also in March and I will be 30 this year. I truly believe god will deliver you my friend. He does things differently for everyone. Just stay in prayer. He knows what you want and knows what you need. He hears every thought and every word. He may not deliver you the way you want or when you want it. But I know for a fact that he will deliver you. I pray in Jesus name that god delivers you and breaks the chains of addiction that are attached to your mind, body and spirit. We cannot do these things on our own. They’re too strong for us to completely get rid of. You can fight the addiction for 10 years and not have a drink and it will get easier to avoid. But the truth is the addiction is still there. When you are delivered from it, god will COMPLETELY rid you of it and you’ll never want a drink again. Trust me when I tell you that is what happened to me. I really pray you get delivered! Aren't you lucky! I've been praying for delivence for years. Has anyone got any suggestions?
I prayed for deliverance for a year or 2 before I was delivered. I struggled with it while going to church and fellowshipping with other believers. You’re not alone. God doesn’t work the same with everyone. I would consistently get on your knees in humility and admit that god is the only one who can help you. That you can’t do it without him. Ask others to lay hands on you and pray for you to be delivered. You can also do fasting and praying. Keep praying and reading the Bible and worship god no matter what. Don’t give up. God didn’t answer me right away. Sometimes he does answer people right away and sometimes he stretches and grows your faith first. God already knows your struggles and wants and needs. May I ask if you go to church and/or atleast hangout with other Christians? Like a Bible study or anything? And if so what demonation are you?

This is my life right now, word for word. I am hoping for deliverance. Please pray. Thank you
I can tell you that you are in the right place. This may be your life right now. But God has a plan for you. And he will use you in a mighty way. And I know since you watched at least most of my video that you are making the right moves. You’re searching for a way out. You’re looking for an answer on how to get rid of your addiction. Let me remind you of what I said in my testimony. I prayed and had other people praying for me for quite a while. It took a while for god to finally deliver me. Idk why. But there is a reason. Some people he answers immediately and others throughout time. I say that to encourage you to never give up on believing god will deliver you! Stay in prayer, ask other people to lay hands on you and pray for you, talk to other Christians regularly and read the Bible. Most importantly HUMBLE yourself before the lord! Admit you can’t do it without him and that he is the only one who can free you! He already knows the strength that your addiction has on you and he knows that you want it gone. You need to HATE the addiction and LOVE god. He loves you and he knows what you’re going through. We’ve all done bad things. We’ve all sinned against God. He doesn’t favor me over you. He doesn’t favor other people who were set free over you either. Not saying that you think that he does. I’m just saying that he answers people at different times for his own reasons. He is always listening. And it’s times like this when it feels like he’s not there or he doesn’t care and you feel all alone in the captivity you are in with addiction, when other people have been delivered and you haven’t, that’s when he’s challenging and testing your faith. God doesn’t owe us anything. He doesn’t have to answer our prayers for anything. But he’s so good and rich in mercy and so filled with grace and love that he wants to help you. He wants to free you. He hates the sin and whatever brokenness might be in us to make us drink and do drugs. If you feel miserable and understand that you’ve sinned against him and that you’re a sinner and you are sorry and want forgiveness he is faithful and just to forgive and forget your sins. But you need to talk to him about that if you haven’t already. Also I would encourage you to pray for other people’s addictions and deliverances. Treat people how you want to be treated sort of thing. You might know all of this but I just felt the need to remind you. Just focus on him and love others more than you live yourself. Repent and forgive others. Don’t give up on your prayer! I believe he will deliver you. And believe me when I say I WILL pray for you!

I am so glad I came across this video. Same story. Been praying for years. Believing he will deliver me eventually but always wondering if we was waiting for me to do it. But I can’t. Such a back and forth with condemnation and guilt. All other stories are about how people were delivered immediately upon salvation. I’ve been delivered from other things but not this. Years being a believer with this hell. I think like you said it’s for a reason it’s taking so long but this video has blessed me so much. I don’t just believe, I know now it’s just a matter of time when he’s ready. Thanks for being obedient and posting this.

Hi Scott, loved your testimony. God is using you and please continue making your videos. You have a quality of being really honest and open... its really refreshing. By the way, I watched your most recent videos, but comments on them are disabled... all I wanted to say on them was keep going! What you have to say is very important. Also, you should buy a house (referring to your video about doing what you love). Renting is for the birds and is really only good if you're going to move in the near future. Anyway, just my 2 cents. Getting sober with the help of Christ is so good and I am happy you made it. I have a multiple substance disorder and fight hard - I managed to give up alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, sex - but I still fight medication. I know it's not good - but I cannot manage without - at least for the moment. But I know that God will help. I am completely isolated - with no friends, I live in a foreign country, do not speak the language too well, there is no church, I live in a small village... I am depressive, down, suicidal... May God help me. I fasted now for 90 days (only juice) and sometimes I just want to continue until I am gone. I had it with this world. It's too much.... and no light at the end of the tunnel...
I’m sorry to hear that. I hope you read the Bible and stay in prayer. God is always with you and always listening to you. He wants you to cast all your cares upon him and trust him. The moments your faith and loyalty to him are tested are the days when you feel most alone and miserable. I believe god will answer your prayers and he will deliver you. NEVER GIVE UP. God loves you more than you can ever understand!

The Lord healed me from smoking. I tried and tried to stop but could not. I had covid just before Christmas I ended up with broncitis and coughed day and night fir 4 weeks.Then I saw a prophetic word on utube. STOP SMOKING IT DAMAGES YOU PHYSICALLY AND SPIRITUAL I ONLY SAW IT ONCE BUT I KNEW IT WAS FOR ME. I STOPPED AND ITS NOW 3MONTHS .I knew it was for me and I could nit be disobedient to God. Praise God.

Thank you. You are a wonderful storyteller. Funny, sincere & entertaining. I lived with alcohol addiction for 30 yrs. Jesus delivered me too. It is powerful to share your story with the world. It gives hope for those looking for deliverance & reassurance for those that have. I feel an immediate bond with you. I am sure everyone going through this feels that same bond with you. Jesus is amazing. He is our healer, redeemer, Savior.

I appreciate you watching. If you feel you have to have those beers every night, then the alcohol is in control. You’re serving it as if it is your master. I know from experience. That’s probably what your wife is seeing. People around you can see the chains that hold you to whatever it is that you’re struggling with. I believe god brought you across this video to encourage you to make a change. Just know it’s a great thing when you can admit what you do and take others feelings into consideration. I didn’t see anything wrong with it at the time either but I was just lying to myself trying to justify my behavior. We’re all human. We just try to justify our behavior to make it seem not as bad as people make it out to be. I believe god is pulling on your heart to change your ways. He speaks to us in many ways. He’s using what he did for me to touch other people. All I am doing is sharing the good news to let others know he can do the same for them. He changed my life when he freed me from my alcohol addiction. And the beautiful thing is I never had a craving or temptation for alcohol since that day. Its a battle I no longer have to fight. It’s good that you only have a few beers instead of high amounts of liquor. You’re probably relaxing every night but not getting to the point of slurring your words or passing out which is good. But even if someone has 1 beer every night out of routine and they feel they need to have it, then they are held in captivity by it. We all deal with that. Even with caffeine, sugar, sex, nicotine consumption etc. it’s tough man. I appreciate you taking the time to listen to the whole story man. And thank you for your kind words! Knowing in your heart you can’t quit on your own is a powerful place to get to. Only then when you are delivered will you know it was by the grace of God . Choose Jesus over alcohol. Ask him for forgiveness of your sins & make him your Lord & savior. He will deliver you in an instant. He delivered me Dec 31st 2020 from 30 yrs of alcohol abuse. I chose him that night over alcohol & he took my addiction away immediately. He saved me from Satan April 20 2023. That’s when I was born again. He washed me in his blood. Kinda funny he let me experience his power over alcohol first. You would think that would have been the day i surrendered my life to him. It took me getting attacked by Satan & crying out for Jesus to save me. Which he did. He is so amazing. My heart belongs to him
My son is addicted to alcohol. He's 28 and has a different story than you and I have been praying for his sobriety and him to finally accept Jesus as a Savior I think it's close so if you don't mind praying for him that would be awesome his name is Luke thank you. You're funny btw.
I definitely understand how it is. I will pray for Luke. I would just do the best you can to show him the love of Jesus. Live out the gospel to him. Don’t preach it just live it. Not saying you don’t because I have no idea what other people do. Lol. I’m just saying. And keep praying for him. Pray that god takes the blinders off his eyes and that he sees the alcohol for what it truly is. It’s an evil addiction.. pray that god will reveal himself to him and show him how much he loves him And show him that he has a purpose on this earth. @@ScottyNoCap thank you for the lengthy reply appreciate it. Yeah he has been in rehab four times in the last 13 years. I was estranged for from him for many years because I set boundaries. Lately it's been difficult because he's living with me and he's been drinking. I believed him when he said that he wanted to stop drinking and wanted to get help however that is turned out to be not the case. We don't have any family that cares about us and I've been single for many years that's a whole nother story. I feel like I'm all by myself however I know God can do for me when I can't do for myself. I go to Al-Anon which really does help a lot with how to deal with this stuff it's just frustrating I know I can't make him stop and I know I can't control his drinking. Nor do I desire to do so. I know his main problem is spiritual but I think he has some other issues that I won't State on here. Which can be a whole other factor in his addiction. So it's kind of a mess again thank you for replying and and mostly for praying for him
@@bethlemmon I totally understand. I know people that are in the same exact boat you are in. Someone very close to me is struggling with drugs and moved in with his mom and is almost 30 and she is in the same position as you. She feels alone and family and friends are difficult and very minimal. And she keeps praying for her son and trying to figure out ways to help him. He’s family. We all keep praying and just try to trust god. There is only a certain amount you can do ya know. I pray that you and him will see more than enough of gods grace. I prayed for your son yesterday. I will pray for him again and pray for you as well. You both matter a lot. You both have purpose on this earth and god loves the both of you unconditionally. Try to speak life and nothing but positivity when it comes to you and him. I’ve seen people delivered from all sorts of things. There is nothing that god can’t do. Sometimes it’s hard to talk to people about god/church and convince them of things. The best we can do is follow gods word and just live out being a true Christian in front of people and keep praying and trusting god. We have to pray that god will work on Luke the best way he sees fit. Sometimes it can take years. We’re never gonna know when god does something which sucks sometimes but that’s the reason we are supposed to have faith. We’re not supposed to know.. But god sees the bigger picture. You’re not alone Beth. Neither is your son. I hope and pray that you will see a breakthrough with you and your sons Situation! I’m thinking of doing a video on addiction and people that struggle with a loved one who is addicted to something. Maybe it will help you and others!
