Of course, you're not broke, you made it mint on your gofund me page.😂
Tim you should look at adding washing your windows, to be part of your service.
Brax needs a shirt that says HEY DAD hahaha
Haven’t your heard that the new drinking game ! When he says Hey dad you take a shot !
Tim,
If your going to film through your truck's windshield, you really need to keep it clean!
Like to have a dollar everytime Braxton said "hey dad" ...lol
Reminds me of me as a kid ..used to drive my dad nuts and his friends because I'd always want to be heard in adults conversations
Dude Iknow right 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I hate being this guy Tim
But you gotta get a tire cage when you’re pumping up tires. I’ve done tires for years and it’s scary having one blow up.
Did hundreds and only one blow up ! And it was mounted on the inside of a trailer ! Sidewall
Hey some have better luck than others. You never know when a tire might blow up
@@davefriessen9897 I would rather change them in the shop ,and not worry about a cage than have too change them on the side of the interstate
Great video.
I still can’t believe how you can drive with such dirty windows. That would drive me crazy, especially while driving into the sun or at night.
Could have a brand new truck and he’d have it filthy with grease and oil in a month.. can’t even imagine how filthy the interiors are
And their speedometers don’t work ! Oh I know someone is going say they have a GPS ! But the truck has one right beside the tach ! Just fix it !
Sounds to me like you’re all fine fault God
Tim please clean the dash on rooster its frustrating
Tim, you are a working trucker and own your trucking company. You keep doing what makes you and your family successful. A clean work station is always preferred, but not mandatory. You keep your truck the way you see fit. My Dad kept his trucks clean, but not show ready, they still made money.
@16:15...I was so excited to see that the company my friend works for and helps to develop products for trucking companies being on the wheels of your trucks...Stemco!
Been using Stemco products for over 30 years!
Tell him to keep up the good work with the innovation.
The "Hound Dog" is looking goodbput back together ready for Steve to go on a trip
I find flat spotting tires comes from not keeping safe enough distance to respond to what may ever come .
Drivers should have too pay for those flat spots ! The dash cams will help with that now !
The curse of westerns truck strikes again 😂
Yeah your hard work and all the people that donated to the go fund me and sent tools and supplies helped a lot also !
😂
@@WVT0587 What is a TPro?
@TPro-87 He has....many times over.
😂😢
He uses everyone he comes in contact with to benefit him. Then he forgets on purpose about the ones that helped him.
Yall need a tire cage. Great video as always.
🤣🤣🤣🤔says the OSHA watching the UTube videos ! Now he will be called and have one next week !
Brother all you need to do is be truthful always and don't bullshit your hard working viewers and we will stick with you to the end
All the way in 🇯🇲 and I watch your videos every week. Keep up the good work!
Good morning y'all
I'm Glad you are changing the Oil in Roster and putting in the Good Oil the BEST Oil ever AMSOIL Oil!!! Roster is going to be so happy with the New Oil in Him Roster is now ready to go Pluck some hens. Go get them Roster show them who's BOSS and King of the Roads.
When you hear a tire blow for the first time it scares the living shit out of you especially when it is another truck aside of you and it blows right aside of you.
Clean your damn windshield!!
Love the video...showing whay goes on in the workshop....stay safe you all
Very good video Tim thank you for sharing
it does my heart good to see the relationship that you n brx have i miss my dad i was the baby of the family and i lost him when i was 26 to a car accident back in 82
Please get a tire cage, about 50 psi a bad tire can rip and I’ve been blown 18 feet across a shop. It blew the epoxy off the floor. I have it on video
Tim, thanks for that sound advice makes perfect since.
Now there is Braxton! Good morning young man!
Your dad is so knowledgeable.
Tim you need a tire cage for when you air tires up in case one explodes on ya
Show American trucking at it's finest 💯
I love how Tim admits when he makes a mistake n doesn't push the blame....a real man. Family guy just working hard n showing us it can be done..❤
11:41 you mean it used to plug in. Lol
Great video, I think decals on trailer would look great 👍 😊😊
You built this channel on trucking, from the beginning of the video, in a truck driving an talking, it's not like that anymore, I don't understand why, I know the end of video was some trucking! Oh well, thanks for sharing though, it's good stuff
You might eventually have to get a 1000 gallon bulk tote of oil and maybe an oil burning heater for your shop during cold months.
Or put the used oil in the fuel !
Your dad sounds smart with money and saving . Just like my German American ansestry family thinks . We always called tight with money 💰🤑
It was just a matter of preference, but I had the best of luck with my 6NZ running Mobile Delvac oil and Baldwin Filters . We tore it down after 1.5 million miles. It was so very clean inside, and the rods and mains were worn but not scratched or scored. But it was extremely clean inside.
Love that you are Using wix filters always had good luck with them
60 pounds of oil pressure !! YEEE-Haw.. Thanks for the video Tim. xCop
Favorite UA-camr
yes yes yes yes its about time thank you
I run nothing nut cat filters all the way around...but every one has there own preference
Great intro Timmy!!!👍✌🤠
As a new trucking company owner I need more tips like this vid lol
i used to work on an international assembly line first just did starters and engine harness but by the time i left i was the engine line repairman. we used to build the cat c13s an15s the cummings isx and ism i love working on big engines like that
I liked this video it was good. Thanks.
I saw your white freightliner on 15 in Pennsylvania today....hauling a refer
The look on the little pups face is like why you have me in this garage I hate the smell of grease 😅
Hey Tim, I really wish you lived closer to Florida, working for you and with your crew would make retiring from the military more appealing
Tim use balance beads in all your tires.
Sensational video.
What's that little dogs name? It's so freaking cute ❤ love the content! Keep up the amazing work. Best thing about this channel is the long videos you guys make. I could watch a two hour special of you guys.
The Cat 1R1808 is a 5 micron filter, the Cat 1R0716 is a 19 micron filter, the Wix 57792 is a 16 micron filter, the 1R1808 will read a little lower on oil pressure.
Shih Tzu Shop Dog! Love it!
Good evening Tim
Tim, This is great content! I like seeing your daily operations, especially the driving!
My truck had a cat oil filter on it when i got it and then we went to fleetguard and now to wix and absolutely no change in oil pressure through all of them on an 07 pete with a c15 cat 475hp.
Good morning Tim,&Braxton. Thanks for the video.Just got done watching it and couldn't see the road due to the windshield was a little on the dirty side so before the next ride along could you or someone clean it please? As a business owner you should know that appearance is key to a successful business.Braxton you are a awesome young man and I love that you and your dad are close so could you give dad a hand with keeping the trucks and shop clean thanks and have a blessed day and I will be waiting for the next video
#GENTRY&SONS 💯💯💪💪
That was good advice
Tim you should invest in a Tire Machine now that you are doing everything in your shop. It would save you so much time and money in the long run and safer. If you can't pay for a new one buy a used one now while people are selling off their stuff. The time it took to change two tires you could have changed all 8 tires using the Tire Machine.
Not only a tire machine but also a tire cage for airing those tires up for safety
how fast can you mount and dismount one tire on a tire machine?
Tire machine ? Tire tools & hammer soap water and one man !
@@davidcatlette9697 and 1 minute lol. from bead busting to remounted. with a bead buster, golden tool, small tire hammer, and one bar.
Hey Tim I was thinking that if y’all were to paint the bottom lip of the fenders from the front to the back on the classic. That would completely tie in from the grill back to the cab. Just an idea. Great content
I don’t know about the newer Cat engines but back in the 70’s and 80’s Cat engines were the only ones that had marks on both sides of the dipstick one you used when the engine was shut off and the other when it was running
🤔 think it said cold start and engine full running ?
If Cat drain plug is tight use a 1/2” impact to remove it. Cat drain plus tend to tighten on there own. Always use torque wrench to tighten them. This helps.
Ole Rooster could use a window wash.
Is that from the inside or out side ! You know he smokes “vapes” same thing smoke on the glass !
😂😂 love this channel
I’ve worked on cats for many years and the 1R1808 seems to cause oil pressure issues. If your going to run cat use the 1R0716. They seem to do better in the 3400 series engine.
Never seen that ! We have 5 trucks with CAT c15s and 1 C16 Never had a oil PSI issue! It's the guys opening his engine and not being CLEAN! This guy has more engine problems on trucks they opened up then engines that HAVEN'T been opened since built in 99-01!
@@kwmiked I agree with that. But working in a cat house you see some strange things. Other than the 1808 has a higher micron rating it seems to plug faster and the fluctuations are from the filter bypass opening and closing. Lucas seems to effect the 1808 worse than the 1706
Tim how can you look through those dirty windows
you need to look at getting a tire cage that way when you are airing up the tires your safe and if a tire blows you don’t get hurt
Tim question❓ Just asking a few weeks ago you said that you were going to put out a video every day. Now I know that's kinda hard with you being so much bussy with work Thank God. But is it possible to get a video every other day it sure would be nice if possible❓ Awesome video as always keep up the amazing job 👍.
Hell Ya brother keep up the good work is all I gotta say💯💯💯😎 brother your good at blocking them haters out idk how you do it brother your one solid dude for real…btw can you wipe your windows on Rooster, bugging the heck out of me 😂 Love you brother 🙏🙏💯🤟🤙💪
I want the Austin, Love this channel
I can truthfully say I do not miss spooning tires off the rim or having to deal with the old style log truck tires and rims with the locking ring that ain't put on right can pop off and take you out of this world
2 STICKS TIRE CHANGER... OLD SCHOOL
Tim that drop in oil pressure under boost does not give a good feeling, almost like the bottom end is running out of oil , or the load is stretching your main cap bolts and opening up clearance on mains under load.. ?? I would try raising the oil level, and see if the pressure holds better, if not I would talk to rob about it??
Wix filters are much better for more circulation with your oil pressure, cat filters holds the oil back more you'll definitely notice the difference in your pressure by 12 psi
Take livestock ,cow magnets a couple hose clamps 4 of the magnets clamped around outside filter can . Filter can cutter then u have a catch can . U can analyze oil for metal . With fluctuations In pressure may be suction pipe is leaking . Prelube , shut down pump we called the soakback pumps . On a timer 15 minutes of shut down pumping , Prelube 25-30 lbs pressure . Engines have oil galley plugs and diagrams wher to tap in with one way check valve . So no reverse flow while running . At the cost for engines analyzing oil each oil change is cheep . This extended turbo and bearing life double to triple . Nothing cheep . Keeping them running is where the money is ! I’ve worked on some of the biggest equipment in the world . Just passin on info . Not judging have a good one !
I Love that truck....
Tim put a pair of vice grip on the rim wind you put the tire on it keeps it from coming off the rim
my pops was a mechanic, so was my granddad. they only used napa filters, and i stuck with it. one of my old work vans had 400k on it when i got rid of it.
Csn be a lineman too, a lot of us dont have a college degree and were pulling 200k+ a year with overtime.
You should put an ops filter on it so you can get oil samples whenever you want from the petcock on the ops. You can get one from Pittsburgh power they own ops now
You mean like fox body mustangs and burnout trucks.
I use to do tires like that learned real quick needed tire cage
Don't need a cage.
Saw a bloke blow his head off pumping up truck tyre without cage.He hit the roof of shed.😊
@terryreeves4308 sure ya did been doing it 27 years with no cage.
@@terryreeves4308was it a split rim.
You gotta get one them tire unmounting bars.. I didn think I wanted one till I figured out how it worked
You need a second shop/mech/outpost. In Arizona or something out west so you have access to help on each coast per se.
I’d love to see a comparison between shell and Amsoil in one of the trucks
Good morning Tim. Keep up the good work!
I 100% agree with you. Early on invest back into the company, don't take high salery. If you wanna drive a sports car, save up and rent one. Buying brand new sports cars, having millilion dollar houses = higher taxes. A guy my dad use to drive for start out the same way buying used fixing up. Even after having over 60 trucks in his feet ranting from dump, reefer, to low boys only time he would buy brand new was for the drivers that been there with him for years and signed them on as and lease to own. Guy had money and still lived hin a small house but he invested his money back into his company, so if something happened he had a back up.
You should clean off the dash
Nah, that's a sign of a "billy big riggin super trucker"😂😂
Respect for u Tim 💯👍👍
Need to clean your windshield on roaster
That was a awesome video Rooster, did I awesome job Hope you all have a blessed night. God bless love you all👍🙏❤️💯
We like your videos, but please use a tire cage..better to have it and not need it..than need it,and not have it..great content.
Tim, when you were having trouble closing that priming pump I wondered why you did not open a bleeder valve somewhere.
No harm intended here i have watched your videos since you started you talking about how people is blowing there money on campers and stuff but yet you are building a race car and i know from experience that's not cheap i have had several race car over the years the one i have now is a 89 mustang gt wasn't cheap to build all im saying is i wouldn't down anyone else for what they do with there money cause the way i see it you in the same boat with them
Hi Tim Gentry
Get you a 55gal drum plastic or metal cut it down to fit under truck then cut out two handles and get a pin puller to pull it out
Tim u need a tire cage !seen a guy get really fused up one time!!
Rookie at its very best 😢
