Nice job Mia shifting those gears.💪🏻Love the Trans Am 400 4spd. I had a 79 TA 400 4spd. W72 just like the one in the video. Mine was dark blue called Nocturne blue. Owned it for 17 yrs. All original except I did headers and a cam . Best the car ever ran in the 1/4 mile was 14.4 @ 97 mph.
Beautiful car!!!My brother has the same car but it has the T-tops and an automatic transmission with an Oldsmobile 302 V8.It is in original condition, original paint, decals and interior. That car is iconic and is a legend.
Not many '79's were made with the Pontiac engine and a stick, the only way you could get the 400 Pontiac in '79. The color that everyone loves and W72/WS6, it will find a new home quickly. Good job!
Fire Chicken & the chick is fire! Fine Seventy-Nine Mia. : D Last year for the Pontiac 400 and it was only available with a 4-speed manual trans. Last go around for the Olds 403 as well. The 400s were stocked up 1977 and 1978 blocks that Pontiac used through 1979, and once they were gone, they were gone.
Had one like it; but mine had the 403-4bbl and Turbo 350 transmission. Swapped an Olds 455, Turbo 400, and 3:55 gears and then kicked some butts in it!!!! Open the hood and it looked like a 403, to the untrained eye
Great looking car. Although officially rated at a lowly 220 bhp, dyno tests recorded between 260 ad 280 bhp. Still rather uninspiring in standard form.
The 1979 TA in the video was 220hp not 180. Actually underrated and produced 260-270 hp. Bone stock they ran 14.6 @ 96 mph. Not fast by todays standards but fast for there times. They were the fastest American production car that year in 1979.
The Pontiac 400 that you got with the 4spd was rated at 220 hp. Actually underrated they were more like 260-270 hp. There was no Pontiac 400 in a Trans Am in 1979 that was rated 180hp. Other years yes but not 79. I had one for 17 yrs.
She's still having problems catching the gears. Won't leave her hand on the shifter... Guess she can't hardly drive w/ one hand on the wheel too long?? lol..
sticks are mostly anti theft deterrents for the last 2 generations, I personally havent met a single young person that can drive one! She just needs an older man around to show her how to handle that stick
@@musclecarsforsaleinc haha I know, Im just messin', she is doing good especially for a girl outdoing some guys now!! Hey now, I learned at 13-14 (in the mid '70s) to drive a 3 on the tree '49 Ford farm truck with hydraulic brakes & clutch & no power steering, several different vehicles with 4 & 5sp by 16 & at 18 I was driving dump trucks & semis! My 59 yr old gf grew up driving sticks & thats all she likes to drive (she has a '98 Sonoma 5sp at the moment, bought new & loves it) especially since no one can steal her cars, even her kids havent got a clue so they never asked to borrow her car! I taught my 2 daughters to drive a stick but they prefer autos & my son can drive just about anything
Look at her go!! she's gettin at it. Rare to see this car in manual.

Olds never made a 302, only Ford & Chevy
I’m sure he meant Olds 402 (6.6L) V-8……👍😎👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
@@jjojo2004 You're close. The olds small block 403V8 was the engine ya'll are thinking about. I owned one.....
Great looking T/A 👍👍

yup, only around 8300 400 4sp were made out of about 117,000
At a whopping $50k, she's priced on the high end of the market.....
Good job, Mía ❤.

Best driver on YoutTube, and we CAN'T SEE HER DRIVE!! Show that goddess Mia!! Especially in those AWESOME white boots!
Had one like it; but mine had the 403-4bbl and Turbo 350 transmission.

My Dad had one except it had 403 with automatic and t-tops.
Atta girl, chirping tires like a pro.😎
Love those boots on the pedals
Wouldn’t wanna be a Squirrel in that Neighborhood! 😂
We slow down and stop For Sqirrel

For 50 G's it needs to come with either the blonde or T-tops, sellers choice.
Reminds me of the car they used in Rocky II.
Sexy car, gorgeous lady, kick ass music and an exhaust rumble that stirs the soul! Love your videos.
$50k for a car with 180 HP...I'm happy with my '71 GTX 440 for about same price. 😊

I prefer a 73 with the 455 HO and hurst.
That engine is definitely not stock. It's built, you can tell. Those engines produced 180 HP from the git go. That thing is 300 HP now

this ones 300 hp been worked
Great job Mia, that is a really nice one!
a 6.6 is a 403 olds. 6.5 is the Pontiac true 400
Please learn how to shift.
