- Just a snippet, but enough to show what a unique and innovative guitarist Graham Coxon is. There's a lot going on in this intro - more than I expected when I first thought I'd give it a go. God-like genius meets optimistic workman.
There weren't enough of these signature Teles made. Modelled on Coxon's '68 Tele, that, in his own words, "some lunatic had butchered and put some PAF pickup in where the neck pickup is". Loads of warmth in the neck Seymour Duncan SH-1 . . . but, for this video, it's the snarl of the single-coil that takes over!

Fun fact: If you order a Graham Coxon Tele, you´ll get a striped shirt on top.
Ha! I never knew that. I got this one second-hand, so I expect the shirt was kept by the first owner. Lucky them!

@@elwray3506 Double ha! I fell for it because the original video for the launch of the guitar had Graham in a black and white striped T-shirt - at least that's my excuse ;-).

Great guitar although back in the day he used a simple 52 tele reissue. Apparently in the 90s people didn’t need custom shops or vintabe guitars lol cheers
Great point. I've got a 1993 52 Reissue in the collection. Absolute beauty. Though (heretic moment!), I think this one's more versatile ;-). Love the warmth of the humbucker vs the cut of the single-coil!
@@godsownguitars A 1993? Wow must be contemporary of Graham's. Yeah he said something similar himself, more versatile and comfortable to play. Have you seen the Pedal Show episode with him? It's crazy good.
