I'm shocked that he did this record in his home studio - when I heard it, I instantly felt like the production was remarkable - it had all the best vibes of a late 60s recording. Really reverb-y and warm. Hat's off.
I was just about to comment, I listen on a Linn HIFI system that costs as much as a car. I have thousands of albums in my collection, some audiophile stuff, and his stuff, recorded in his home studio makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck, it just sounded alive, like real live music. Fantastic stuff!
For a few hundred bucks you can get a decent microphone, interface, and make some decent recordings. It's great. Of course, a few hundred dollars assuming you already own instruments to record with. I was inspired as well watching this. I have a little studio in my office and it's been great.
his voice is so low and deep now. graham is such a musical genius. did everything by himself and i love love love the soundtrack so much. just brilliant.
The soundtrack for the second series was brilliant. Some of his finest work on that album. Superstate was fantastic too. Both albums deserve much more recognition.
I'm just gonna say that Graham makes me feel so soft and I'm really proud of him, the music that he made for TEOTFW was great and made me like the series even more. I really appreciate him and all of the things he has done 😢💕
Lovely video. Graham is great, we all know that, but top marks to those who made the video. Sometimes we don't want to hear an interviewer's voice, and some nice close up cut shots of instruments and desktop and bits and pieces, these are more interesting. Good work.
Watched the show, loved it. Heard the song "Walking all day" Had to find this song, found it! Such a feel good song, with a lovely melody. 🎼🎼🎼 Graham Cox you legend! ❤
Great video! I also watched TEOTFW because Graham did the soundtrack. Hopefully they'll be another series and they'll ask him to do the soundtrack again.
He makes music the way perfect food tastes, no deep thinking, simple ingredients, no real measurements and making it up as he went along using feel and taste as the guide. He is a very very underrated musician.
Seeing stuff like this is so inspiring to me and I’d like to think other people who do solo recording or record by themselves you can do so much with just a little setup it’s amazing
I’ve watched the series again and again just for him. He is such a talented and dynamic musician who always surprises the audience.Hope the season 2 of TEOTFW will come out soon.
Wow he's one of my favourite guitar players and I loved that show... and I barely watch any shows. I had no idea he had written the soundtrack This man is a genius.
You beautifully explain and present the recording process perfectly. I love making music too and this is 💯 I've got no team so I learned piano and guitar so I could make my own beats. I respect all musicians.
great song Graham! reminds me of middle american suburban rock or something. Check out "Hornate Orange" by My Little Red Toe or Anyone Else But You by The Moldy Peaches or even After Hours by Velvet Underground. It radiates the same feeling which rocks.
So funny that he mentioned the Deliverance music reference..."squeal like a pig!" I remember that on song about hillbillies, cause I am one. Ouch! That smarted!
I could listen to Graham talk for hours. He has such a soothing voice.

Bus stop is one of my favourite songs to this day, I just love the sound of it so much
I love how low-budget this whole thing is.
hardly 'budget', but I know what you mean.
Graham always comes across as incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic and humble. Always inspirational.
Such a down-to-earth and engaging personality. Talent and humility, never mind TEOTFW, I could watch a series of just him in the studio.
I recommend you watch this. It's a great interview.

I watched this show because of Graham only tbh, and I absolutely loved it so bless him !!
He makes music the way perfect food tastes, no deep thinking, simple ingredients, no real measurements and making it up as he went along using feel and taste as the guide. He is a very very underrated musician.
this is the most lovely thing ive ever seen
Seeing stuff like this is so inspiring to me and I’d like to think other people who do solo recording or record by themselves you can do so much with just a little setup it’s amazing
It's not often that your favorite ever TV show (as of January 2019) also has one of your favorite ever albums as its soundtrack.
I had no idea that he was involved, but that makes perfect sense.
F..,king awesome Graham!
I’ve watched the series again and again just for him. He is such a talented and dynamic musician who always surprises the audience.Hope the season 2 of TEOTFW will come out soon.
It's amazing how he could delve into that one scene and create a story through one song. A true artist.
What a wonderful collection of songs! I absolutely love them.
Absolutely in awe of this guy...
I love the soundtrack
Wow he's one of my favourite guitar players and I loved that show... and I barely watch any shows. I had no idea he had written the soundtrack This man is a genius.
