Thank you for the quick reply! That's exactly what I thought, I just wanted to be sure before I went ahead and purchased my Polar watch. That sounds frustrating, I was and still am a bit skeptical about buying Nike products, although they are great quality, I find that a lot of their new stuff is made for the sole purpose of looking good, rather than actually helping you improve your fitness. Thank you for your helpful review :)
Hi G, I have the newest version of this watch. The stopwatch is part of the normal menu, as well as history & records. Most of the other review videos are a year old and they may not have had the stopwatch then. When the watch is plugged in it automatically updates the software, so older watches may be able to add the stopwatch.
Yes, all your runs will be saved on the Nike plus website when you upload the data. The watch will keep 50 runs in the history but I've got over two years of runs logged on the site.
Hi! This was so helpful! I still have one questions though, on the display screen where you can set up what you want to see while you run you can choose pace correct? Now the important questions is; is it average pace or is it current pace? Thank you!
Superb review! Thanks, Did nike update the site to read all the running miles already? Or just the first 4 still? Is there an option to change speed to pace while running? Thanks!!
I can't compare it to the Polar Watch because I don't have one. My average calorie burn during a 6 mile run at 7min / mile is 750 with a heart rate of 165BPM. This is secondary information for me so I don't really pay much attention to calorie burn. Hope that helps.
I would say it's NOT good for cross-training. It will keep track of calorie burn without the shoe pod or heart rate monitor, using the GPS signal- and based on your profile set up. i.e. Height, weight & age. This watch seems to be more geared towards just running. To be honest, I've had issues with uploading the GPS data to the website and I'm becoming a bit frustrated- although Nike's tech support is awesome.
Good morning! Before start i want to give you my congrats. The video is awesome! I bought the Nike Sports Watch today and now i'm waiting is arrive at my home. I only want to know what the model is your watch? My watch is Item model number: 1JA0.054.02
The heartrate option was already on the watch. But you do need the polar wearlink to pick up your heart rate and transmit to the watch. I am not sure if you can update the software on an older Nike watch. You can always call Nike Support and ask. 800 379 6453.
im looking at buying one, i noticed yours has the stopwatch and a few more options than other videos ive seen.. was there an update or is this a newer model or something??
Hy! You did a relly nice summarization about this nike+! I have just one question, i hope you know the right answer. I am curious about the heart rate. If i buy this polar wearlink and syn it with the watch, then are you able to see your current heart rate data on the watch screen during your running? Is it possible? Its very important to me to see the right amount on the screen! And may i set alert to vibration or something for heart rate if its higher than i want during my running? Thank you for yr answer.
Hi, When I go to "RUN", my screen shows "GPS," "Shoe Pod," and "Options." There is no "heart rate" there. Did you have to add Heart Rate somehow? Does that heart rate option show up once you have added a new sensor? I"m very interested in getting the polar wearlink to use with my watch. I believe I have a newer model as it has the "stopwatch" function. Any help would really be appreciated.
The first watch lasted over 2 years, then had problems with usb linking. The physical band was OK. Called Nike and was given a refund. Bought a second Nike watch on eBay - still good to this day.
may be you're not wearing it daily. i'm using it almost everyday, may be that's the reason, but really i think the bad could be manufactured a better way with better material
LowFlyer1200 really no problems ? nice im deffs buying one tommorrow then . do you use the calorie counting featur ? if so what do u use it for ? can u use it for pretty much anything ?
The only problem I've had is with the supplied USB cable. After a while it doesn't make the connection- but you can plug the watch directly into a USB port to download the data. It's mainly for running/walking, does not work well for biking, unless you only use the heart rate function. It does count calories, but I don't know how accurate it is. Seems like a generic calorie counter based on age/weight/height.

Thanks for taking the time to make this video and for the detail review.

okaay awesome thankyou so much for your help LowFlyer1200 :) nice review btw helped heaps!
Hi, you can choose between pace and speed. I'm pretty sure it is average pace and current speed.
Hope that helps.
Yeah I got a little carried away. I did post a disclaimer in the annotations admitting it's 'not really that quick.'

Hello. Yes, with the polar wearlink you can see the current heart rate while running. No alerts or vibrations though. Happy holidays!
LowFlyer1200
HY! Thank you for your quick answer! Wishing u a great holidays too!
I like your screen saver. 😂
Pink Floyd art or the tushes?
Is this watch also good for cross training? Will it still display calorie burn, without the shoe pod or heart rate sensor?

How accurate is this vs Polar Cal burn? I just bough this watch (I don't have the wearlink sensor) and I have a Polar S725x with the old sensor. Thx.
quick as you mean 10 miniute
Will it save all your runs online? Or is it the same on the nike website where it only shows 50 of your latest runs?
You're welcome.
thanks you helped me alot
Still only reads complete miles.
Its band will get separation or cut after 3 months of use . Negative

I still have the watch since making the review and it works well. I use it a lot.
