Thank you so much for posting this video. I recently purchased the Weider XRS20 weight bench for my 12 year old grandson who lives with me. I am a 70 year old woman and I could never have put this bench together without your help.
I have dyslexia so understanding instructions can be difficult at times. This video helped me put it together. Thank you. FYI got this and the squat rack for $200 at walmart.
thanks brotha i couldn't figure out how to attach that sleeve to the weight holder on the leg and preacher curl, didn't know the dang screw was already in
Hi there, thanks for the video. How did you put those 4 screws to the bottom of the seat at 6:43 on your video. I’m really having difficulty screening them in. Do I need to hammer them?
Mr. Balu B - these screws were not as difficult as the squat rack screws, but you do want to be careful not to strip the heads. Again, use a good, heavy screwdriver and don’t tighten the bolts before you get the screws in. I did not use a hammer but I guess you could try that.
Great video man, Mines arrives at the end of July & I paid $300 off amazon unfortunately because its sold out everywhere or even more expensive but well worth it to workout at home now, Luckily I have a bunch of the 1' barbell weights for it because those wouldve cost a grip now too lol
I just bought mine on Walmart, they had it available today for 199. Latest arrival is end of August but I don't mind waiting a month as I have adjustable dumbells to get me through the wait.
@@LowFlyer1200 Anytime man well worth it I bet, I just got some Powerblocks 50 Elites so I'm waiting on the bench. I currently have the 5.9 Xrs so I'm upgrading. Question: I read the its 45 inches long, Is that with the leg extension piece attached? Let me know man, I may have to be removing that piece and putting it back depending on the full length.
Henry Fernandez The entire bench is 6’ Long with the leg extension in the down position. The bench without the extension attached is 4’ Long, from the head piece to the metal piece where you would attach the leg extension.
This Video Made Me Order One Im 18 Right Out Of HighSchool I Stopped Smoking And Drinking And Now Barely Deciding To Worry About My Health I Just Wish I Started Sooner
Yo, I didn't take it as disrespectful. I'm not easily offended. I was recently smoking and drinking way too much also- after breaking my leg 2 years ago I really started gaining weight, mostly in my belly, as you can probably see in the video. But before that I was running and biking a lot and in 2017 started working out with weights and actually made some gains and increase in strength. I am 43 now, so it's never too late...kind of. But you are plenty young so you'll have plenty of time to dial in your workout routine and find what works best for you. The main thing is mental attitude and fortitude with commitment and willingness to maintain a routine as well as a good diet. It will take some time, several weeks before you see the difference so don't get discouraged but once you see them it becomes addictive. Others will notice, too. Good luck and stick with it.
Great video very easy to follow but how is the product are you happy with it I also have a question about how tall it is is it over 6feet tall and worried about it sitting in my basement thanks so much very helpful video
Christine Amey - hi, this is the second one of these benches I’ve owned. Love it, especially for the price. The squat bars go up to approximately 5 feet total.
At 16:58 the grease on the number 45 bolt... does that really work? Without grease I am unable to push it through the outer wholes of the bench into this weight tube..
I was able to push the screw through without grease but it was squeaky when I was using the leg extension. I’m fairly certain that’s what the grease is for, so it doesn’t make noise.
The diameter of the leg extension weight tube is approx 1" (2.54 cm), which is about the diameter of a US Quarter coin. I think that a standard barbell diameter is 25 mm so it should work with standard weights. This bench comes with a sleeve that slides over the leg weight tube so it can be used with Olympic sized weights. You will need to buy a 1" spring collar to secure the weights because the one that is included fits on the bigger sleeve.
question for ya. minus the rack/squat bar, what is the length whilst lying flat? the mfg sez 75". basically from the base to base (bottom). i have a small room and this just might be too large (not the rack bar as i won't get that).
Same here. Most people are buying all of them for $100 and then selling them for over $400. These people are no better then the ones that stocked up on toilet paper and hand sanitizer.
@@eduardoh4694 Agreed. Can't find a Olympic weight set anywhere, unless you want to spend $700 or more for one that used to cost $200 at Dick's sporting goods.
Eduardo H it doesn’t matter . People shouldn’t be $ucking each other in times like these. We should all work together to get over this disease. It’s sad what the world has come to
I’m not 100% sure but I would guess yes, it would work with vinyl weights. I’ll measure the diameter of the bar when I get home- I’m in Hawaii right now. 😁
- I’ve loaded it up with 300 lbs and it was stable. It might hold more. This bench and squat rack work well and definitely worth the money. The only con I see is that the upright support bars on the squat rack slightly shift side to side- but it’s still sturdy. Overall, good buy. 👍🏻
- Hi Valeria, I’m doing well. Yes I like this work out bench a lot. It is very sturdy and provides lots of exercise options. You can use standard or Olympic weights.
Could you tell me How high is the seat is when it’s laying flat? I want to use it with my Marcy smith machine am that has a butterfly attachment, and the bench I have right now is way too low
S Hansbrough - You can use Olympic and standard weights. The squat/bench rack requires a 7’ bar and if you want to use standard weights for leg exercises, you’d have to remove the plastic sleeve that slides over the weight holder. (Or just don’t install it to begin with)
Kord Greenough - Yes, definitely recommend. This is the second one I’ve purchased, had one last year in Florida. Great work out bench for a good price.

Does 5 ft standard 1 inch bar work with this apparatus
It will work with a 1” bar but I think 5ft is too short.
Im about to get one of these.
Where’d did you buy yours & for how much? I’ve been wanting one these for a while now but due to COVID-19 the prices have skyrocketed.

Devi Brian Mine is pretty solid. Make sure to really tighten the bolts at the base. They are a bit tough to crank down.

No complaint with this one. I think it's identical to the Gold's version.
