Enjoy the game. I know you're in a hurry to try out that Best in Slot Trials DPS build, but it's a game. It's a great game, with lots to explore. So, don't lose sight of that rushing to get to the Endgame.
@@fabelgamer7410 Research the traits you've got. Level 3-15, you want Training first. If you haven't already, research Sentinal's Lash first, because that's the first one you get. Infused once you get to Enchanting. Divines is useless until you unlock the Mundus Stone you plan to use in the Endgame. I use the Lover, which is toward the end of the first map you started (After the Tutorial Islands.) However, even then, none of them is going to be all that significant a Boon before level 15.
Episode 2? Where is Episode 1 - I've looked through your channel and cannot find it and there is no link in description like you said you were going to provide in the intro.
Understand that the MMO grind is absolutely insane. Sure you can play through the story and explore no worries, but if you want to craft or get the sets you want etc, prepare for a massive investment of time. Like the grind is on a whole new level. This does make it rewarding when you do achieve your goals, but for a lot of people, the time sink will be too much.
The first thing I do with a brand new toon is get the Mage's, Fighter's, Psijic, Darkbrotherhood, Undaunted guilds. I use The Steed mundus and max out the champion pts for mount speed and armor/protections, cuz you can change them when championed. I work on the quests for the guilds (fighers & mage & main questline) to gain skill pts and training gear in the starter zones that I will keep on till hitting champion lvl. As I quest, the gear I get I begin researching and decon all of it to level up in that area. At lvl 10 I do the cyrodiil quest to open the mount speed, being sure to join a home campaign and do enough play to at least fillup the level bar to gain the end of campaign reward (even if I only fix walls to do it) After that, I pick a zone to begin in and do the main quests if i need more skill points. I have a dungeon group where one of us brings in low level toon for randoms to refill our transmute crystals weekly, and we also farm gear as needed. Mostly, I enjoy the below 50 playing of a character more than the championed. It is just so much fun and when you know how to play a class, it can be practically the same as playing a championed toon.
After playing wow for nearly 20 years it was very overwhelming starting a new game and feeling of “having to learn it over again” made me want to give up when ever I felt I wasn’t doing the right way, it saying that uploads like these help heaps and little by little you learn and it’s not so bad, huge MMOs like ESO and many others have huge leanings curve that you cannot learn in just a couple of days, thanks for help, cheers from Australia, liked/subbed.
Your tip for the mount speed increase was amazing. Lots of free skill points and shards to be had as well. I did not intend to try PvP fir a long time, but just doing the intro mission and grabbing a few quick shards, I gained 6 skill points and 30% increase to mount speed. Considering that I had been putting points into carry capacity only, this increase is amazing. Thanks for that one!
Hot damn yeah that was good advice as I have no interest in PvP either, but the zone is dead and the mount bonus is huge. Awesome advice, got it at 18 so I didn't have to suffer too long without it. Now I'm just doing the delves there and grabbing the tomes and shards which I also would have otherwise missed.
There are several other zones that have good dolmen farming if the big crowds in Alik'r Desert turn you off. Auridon has a pretty good rotation as does Deshaan. And if you're in either of The Brafia's PCNA guilds, you're welcome to come along on the Wednesday night overland runs.
I just started playing ESO this week for the first time since it released and I found it boring. There is so much in the game right now I was a little confused but I just started doing quest. I’ve been doing stuff in Daggerfall and ended up in Summerset isle helping an Elf Queen but figured out how to get back to Daggerfall to finish the quest I started there. I’ve been having fun. I’m level 20 right now and I read all the books in bookcases cause I realize it can give you stuff. I’m playing a magic Necromancer. I’m still confused about some stuff but I’m figuring it out as I go along.
About questing, my usual route is Khenarthi's Roost, Bleakrock Isle, Bal Foyen, Stros M'Kai, Betnikh and Auridon, in those zones I do everything except the world bosses, and I usually when I arrive at Auridon I should be around level 20 something depending on scrolls and gear, then I usually follow the Ebonheart Pact line, all the territories and when I reach The Rift I should be really close to 50 or even 50 already, again, depending on my gear and scrolls, and after than I have a lot of Skill points from all of the skyshards and quests, around level 10 mages guild from all of the books too
I put 2 skills from each CLASS tree on my bar to get the skill lines to level 50 by Level 45. Then I switch to all weapon skills to max that by level 48 (Will need a Training Weapon of Purple Quality or better). Full Blue or better training armor can max out the Armor skill by level 40. And another armor type by Level 48 again with full training blue or better. Fighters Guild can be maxed out by level 40 or so, if you only farm Dolmens. Mages Guild can be maxed out if you collect all the lore books in 2 Alliances (Results vary, I ended up finishing by the third Alliance). You can Max out your Class Skills, a Weapon Skill, 2 Armor Skills, the Fighters Guild and Mages Guild before you even hit level 50. It just takes time to set up correctly. I havent tested it, but I think you can speed up mount upgrading with Books. And by that, I mean the training books you can buy. Upgrade the mount with Gold, read a Training Book, and check the stable master again. I think there's a mechanic in the game that resets the stablemaster timer with them crown books. I'll test it to see.
soul magic slot and morph... every toon, every time. Great range damage and lovin' that resource feed with or without stones... might not need it when you get bigger, but great for starting.
Great Video as always :). Keep up the good work. If I were to give any advice from what I've learned it would be to try and not make any alts before you've really had a chance to play your class.
Sorry to pummel on with a lot of questions, but, how did you get that HUD, all the map markers unlocked at the start already, the minimap and how are crafting materrials appearing on your compass and with these big icons?
One thing I regret is skipping crafting and not picking up mats. I’m at cp600 and man it’s sucks having to spend the time to get those crafting skills ranked up now when I’ve could’ve done it at the start.
To me The First Thing I do with any New Character is Go to a Outfit Station, to make him look BadAss, Then I start to play I hate to use that Random Armor appearence that we find through leveling lol
I just learned show to do this at level 13 and it made a world of difference. At least now I don't feel too out of place running through a town with player characters at level 1000 plus. Lol
I played the beta for 2 hours and then never went back. I just started into the game last week and I'm enjoying it a lot. I don't really have any MMO experience, but I'm just playing through the story for the faction and these videos are setting me up for success in ways I can't describe
I do this every other day. Level a character from 3-to-50, every other day. (Speed-run from Stros M'kai to Craglorn collecting Nirnhoned traits, and using up my DELETEs, which I get every other day.) First: Explore the map, join the Guilds (A little early for Undaunted) collect Skyshards, and Lorebooks. Before you even go Questing, get enough skill points to unlock 2 Weapon skills, and fill up 2 Skill bars. I swap between Weapons situationally, even before level 15. Running across Glenumbra, it's usually a Bow, because it's useful for collecting Rawhide on my way across Glenumbra. (Also Stamina for Sprinting. Use a Power Attack to snipe that Wolf or Bear.) Then, when I get to the Graveyard/Delve/Battlefield, I switch to whatever other Weapons I'm training up for Melee. (Even if it's Destruction Staff. I level up Magicka specs too, and there's Melee skills with a Destruction Staff like Wall of Elements.)
New Skills take priority over Morphs. When you don't have enough Skill Points/Skyshards to spend on Skills, Ultimates, Passives AND Morphs, what I do is level up each skill until it's ready to Morph, replace it with another Skill, and spend the points on Morphs when I have them. You can always morph a Skill, but right now you have to have as many Skills unlocked so you can level them. For example, it's better to unlock Teleport Strike than to Morph Assassin's Blade, until you can morph Teleport Strike. You can always morph those later, but if you just Leveled up, or collected 3/3 Skyshards, it's better to spend it on a new Active than a Passive or a Morph. (Unless you're skipping it like Blur. Or whatever, I skip skills I know I'm never going to use, because this is never going to be an Endgame build, and it's probably going to get DELETED in a couple days anyway. I'm assuming you want to keep this character? Then, level all the skills.)
Stamina, and Magicka scaling doesn't really kick in before level 15. It's there, but it's not significant enough to grab that Stamina Morph right away. You're not going to Sustain without Power Attacks before level 15. Even if you're going to be a Stamina spec, you're not a Stamina spec before level 15. You're a Trainee, look what set bonuses you get from Armor of the Trainee. So, even if you're GOING TO BE a Stamina spec, there's no rush to get the Stamina morph, before level 15. It's better to unlock another Skill until the Skill Points start piling up.
Find a crafter get 5x heartland conqueror and a 5x nmg (mag&stam debuff on target if the class lack access to major breech) or Nma hybrid dps most abilities for stam characters start as magic and 2x dps like stuhns crafted sets with training on the weapon. Run 3x heavy 4x of light Or medium.
Love you vids man my only request would be slow down just a little when going through map locations. I'm a console player and its hard to figure out where is where sometiems but this could just be a new player issue.
this was rly helpfull, i could never figure out the armour swaps for the passives, the only thing is idk if its a new update or a console thing but the assault and support passives for me require lvl 4
i noticed you can "start" the game at level 7. I recently maxed out crafting with my alts (I like the mats and gold you get from daily writs) so I created 3 more, selected classes I have not played, you know, so they can simmer until I actually want to start making a new build. Basically just park them in a big city, do daily writs, increase the horse, dismantle gear, put skills in crafting quality and hirelings. Anyway, I created the three new characters, skip tutorial, and then did this: 1. Join Mages Guild so you can persuade 2. Join Fighter's Guild so you can intimidate 3. Do the 6 daily writ intros 4. Go to Summerset and do the jewelry daily writ intro 5. Do daily writs for that day (6. Upgrade horsie -- nothing to do with character levelling but by this time you should have enough money to pay the stablemaster) ...aaaand I'm level 7 in, what, takes about half an hour to do all these? A character I did not take the shortest route was level 8 and a character that I kinda did a "speedrun to daily crafting" was level 7. Once you hit level 10, do the Cyrodiil intro and speed up the horsie. About the dismantling thing, I like to do that one character at a time. First alt does all the dismantling. When one skill hits 50, those items will be dismantled by the second alt. Currently my first alt has 50 in everything else except Enchanting -- so that one only dismantles runes, second has 50 in Clothing and Woodworking so that one only dismantles Blacksmithing and Jewelry, and a third one is dismantling Clothing and Woodworking. Woodworking is about to hit 50 and that's why I needed more alts. And no worries that all the skill points go to crafting -- you can respec at any time so when I want to start making a build I can just respec everything.
Just wondering if you have a Guild on the EU server? I just started playing on the EU server with a toon because I wanted to start from scratch and follow your progression of this series like it was a new account. I already belong to your guild on the NA server. And keep up the videos, I really like what you do and how you explain it.
Hey, how do you have all of those additional items on your map? Is it somekind of an addon. Cause you do talk a lot about "clearing" the map out, but the majority of things you have on it are not visible to me
Hi, this is my question, my friend bought ESO on Steam but I have bought the game from them through the website, can we go ahead and play together? Are these separate servers or something and we won't meet in the world and play together in a party?
I been playing for a short while now after a looong break. I started a new toon and got to level 9. My bank is basically full of crafting materials and runes etc from when I played before. You didn't mention collecting any of that (if you did I missed it sorry). Should I clear it all out and sell it off to a vendor? It's all low level stuff, when I played before I only got a couple of toons to lvl 20 ish.
I don't know what is going on with youtube but much of the eso content I have watched for the last few days have been at 480p even though I have highest quality selected.
@@darkwalker6524 You can train your riding at 3 different skills, 1 level per every 20 hours. Speed, Stamina, and I think Capacity (or something along those lines). 60 is the max skill level, so if you train your mount's Capacity skill to 60, you get 60 more bag slots to reach 140. Apart from that, there are Bag Vendors in some cities. I know Riften definitely has one near the middle area. There you can buy more bag spaces for gold. You can get bag space up to 200, but each upgrade gets more expensive.
I couldn’t quest in cyrodil I did one quest which was talk to the General and it completed then another is asking me to go the centre of cyrodil which can not do. No quest for siege weapons
I just did it. You have to use the shrine to travel to the south gate. If you try to ride there, you'll have a hard time getting there. Make sure the quest is selected from your journal
how do I get a minimap instead of skyrim compass? How do I make items in inventory display in grid view instead of the default "list" view? How to use wall ability and do anything but fire, since it always does fire (and only ~580 dps which is laughable compared to every other ability I've seen so far). You know, basic things like that. The thing you are doing now in the video, I have some idea about what you are doing, but not really, it doesn't help at all (first video did help).
Hey bro why is it that I rode my horse all the way to the other side of cyrodiil to g to the southern morrowind gate to start the quest and I get killed from the guards right before I get in ? Maybe explain that instead of jumping through things so fast, most of us don’t know wtf we’re doing
He didn't say where the quest was but just the name. As it is different for each faction. It will be near where you first load into cyrodill. And have the main quest icon. Then just follow that quest
How do you get the yellow Exclamation points on maps and the Green Funnel things for Crafting material nodes? I have searched high and low in settings and I am not sure which one it might be or if it is a mod!
@@birdieb0y25 tell me about it, there needs to be some kind of console update with this kind of stuff in, it's so much better for PC users, they get so much extra convenience
@@tantrumtv4270 yeah but at the same time isn't that a mod made by someone else? So at least it's not like the devs just said fuck you to us haha. But no it would be so nice, like I've not long started and wanna do every quest on my main but ita so hard to know if I'm missing any
@@birdieb0y25 yeah, they're addons created by third party people, but even so, the most popular ones have been incorporated into the base game by the devs slowly, just as ability timers, now they just need to do some of the other ones, like map markers for lore books and sky shards, quest markers for everything, instant writ completion when you go to the station etc
@@BaronKsatria i was asking cause some people get mad when you tell them something they already know and I just wanted to make sure so I wouldn’t get on your nerves or something. (6. Upgrade horsie -- nothing to do with character levelling but by this time you should have enough money to pay the stablemaster)
...aaaand I'm level 7 in, what, takes about half an hour to do all these?
And no worries that all the skill points go to crafting -- you can respec at any time so when I want to start making a build I can just respec everything.
it sucks that the menus and map are better to understand on pc than console, wish they would update it.
Even though I've been playing on PC na for 18 months and x box na for a year, it was still helpful since I just started on PC EU. Thank you.
Is it possible to get the way your bars are on Xbox or is that a mod? Like the health bar and magicka bar are just squares
Question, is it worthwhile picking up Psijic and companion early? If not, then when if ever?
Just wondering if you have a Guild on the EU server? I just started playing on the EU server with a toon because I wanted to start from scratch and follow your progression of this series like it was a new account. I already belong to your guild on the NA server. And keep up the videos, I really like what you do and how you explain it.
We have players over there that created it awhile ago
Hey, how do you have all of those additional items on your map? Is it somekind of an addon. Cause you do talk a lot about "clearing" the map out, but the majority of things you have on it are not visible to me
What add-on shows you the quest givers? That one would be really good for me that wants to do every quest in the game.
Quest Map
Hi, this is my question, my friend bought ESO on Steam but I have bought the game from them through the website, can we go ahead and play together? Are these separate servers or something and we won't meet in the world and play together in a party?
So long as you are both on the same mega server (NA or EU) and platform, you can play together..
So i did as you said for Cyrodiil, but I couldn't find a quest giver for the beginner quest. Did they change this since 2021?
I been playing for a short while now after a looong break. I started a new toon and got to level 9. My bank is basically full of crafting materials and runes etc from when I played before. You didn't mention collecting any of that (if you did I missed it sorry). Should I clear it all out and sell it off to a vendor? It's all low level stuff, when I played before I only got a couple of toons to lvl 20 ish.
Searched for over an hour in cyrodiil but never get the quest with the siege warfare. I dont understand what i need to do…
How did you get so many icons on your map? I have much less.
I just stared ESO 2 days ago. How do you already have your map labeled, black and white sybols, as a new player?
I don't know what is going on with youtube but much of the eso content I have watched for the last few days have been at 480p even though I have highest quality selected.
At 10 doo a random daily dungeon with an XP scroll on at the end you are 15
How to do the cyrodill queeste when you are from on other convenant?
I have like 10 max level characters and not once did I consider mixing armor types for more passive bonuses.
You sound like you know your shit so I gotta question, where tf do I put my stuff lol I got 80 bag space but it’s always full and I’m only lvl7
Anyone know how I can get the UI he has? With the ! quest markers he has on the map, as well as the on screen quest log?
I couldn’t quest in cyrodil I did one quest which was talk to the General and it completed then another is asking me to go the centre of cyrodil which can not do.
No quest for siege weapons
I just did it. You have to use the shrine to travel to the south gate. If you try to ride there, you'll have a hard time getting there. Make sure the quest is selected from your journal
where did you get the mini map ?
Beginner question? Sky shards? Why get all the Sky Shards?
Every 3 shards give you a skill point
how do I get a minimap instead of skyrim compass? How do I make items in inventory display in grid view instead of the default "list" view? How to use wall ability and do anything but fire, since it always does fire (and only ~580 dps which is laughable compared to every other ability I've seen so far). You know, basic things like that. The thing you are doing now in the video, I have some idea about what you are doing, but not really, it doesn't help at all (first video did help).
I'm guessing you are running addons... do I have to create a mod file for them to work at all?
how can you see everything on your map?
you cant join the fighters guild or mages guild in just any zone tho.
Then just follow that quest
what inventory addon is that?
Do you always sell glyphs?
How do you get the yellow Exclamation points on maps and the Green Funnel things for Crafting material nodes? I have searched high and low in settings and I am not sure which one it might be or if it is a mod!
I think it's a pc add-on
@@tantrumtv4270 god damn i wish i could get this on xbox
Me too i made a fresh toon on eu server
I kept hearing this CP160. What is it and how to get it?
Are you new to eso?
@@oflux8020 Yes I am, isn't it obvious. Lol. I own the game since forever but just started to get into it.
@@BaronKsatria i was asking cause some people get mad when you tell them something they already know and I just wanted to make sure so I wouldn’t get on your nerves or something. I was gonna tell you that CP is champion points which you start getting once you hit level 50 on a toon. Toon is the character you play btw. You use those champion points to make your character stronger. Get to CP 160 as soon as you can because that is when you can get max gear. Any questions?
@@oflux8020 Okay, I think I get it. Thank you. It doesn't apply to me yet then. I just read the wiki article as well it says here that I just need to reach level 50 on one of my toon then it applies to all my other toon on the server?
Edit: what server do you play on?
@@BaronKsatria yeah it’ll apply to all your other toons once your other toons reach level 50 as well. It will go to whatever cp you have. And no that is not the highest Cp. The highest cp is 3600 and you don’t need all that cp to be strong. I play on NA on xbox
Bro how you got a Mini map?
resto staff on front bar asap...so it levels
Leave it to Google to give two drop-down menus just so that I can go to your next video.
Are you playing Console EU now??🤠
brah
No braincells required for ESO!
Anyone have a link to a video like this, but one that gets to the point faster?
My ADD can't handle all the filler talk. Makes me frustrated because so much fluff makes it impossible to pay attention.
sorry but this game has just not enough Inventory. Fought so long in the Tutorial, came out lvl 12 and instantly Bank & Inventory full with Crap i dont understand. SOOOO as usual: SELL SELL SELL, keep only Gold & equipment on. Whatever you may need later you can buy/farm
bro, for some1 teatching it, you talk hella fast, i had to keep bring it back at the part of cyrodil because i couldnt eve see what you were doing, slow down man
