I'd also recommend 3 more things: 1) Pick up all resources along the way, as well as kill everything you come across when going from Point A to Point B. The amount of materials you'll gain long term whenever you need something is totally worth it. 2) Focus on maxing out your bag with gold (pack merchant) then max out your banker. Storage is super underrated in the early game and it will also pay it's way in the long term the sooner you can max it out! 3) Make sure you get that Alliance War first passive to get the Major Gallop on your horse at all times!
Putting time stamps in any beginner's guide/walkthrough things I make. Especially when it's A LOT good information to have. I wouldn't want to make information someone needs harder to obtain than an Aetheric Cipher.
Speedrunners in dungeons drive me nuts. Wish there was a way to queue and check a tick box "want quest" so you get a like-minded group. It's a situation, really.
As a returning player I’m glad you actually restarted to show the process instead of just blurting out what to do with random background gameplay. Actually seeing it, clears up some stupid questions I have and hopefully it’s not just me lol
Another tip that goes along with questing: Do the delves. Delve has a skyshard in it every 3 shards will get you a skill point and every zone has at the very minimum of 3 delves. By doing the quests and running dungeons you will get to lv 50 before you leave your 2nd zone
Watching this at cp 1000 and yep these are all things I wish I knew as a new player. Grinding out mages guild and scrying was a pain. I'd also recommend new players to actively collect skyshards. These give a ton of skillpoints which comes in handy later
I think the top reason to take your time in game is because everything is based on your level like how long researches take to complete the higher the level the longer u will wait to research traits for your weapons and armor.
Re: your points about only skills on your front bar leveling + the daily dungeon: make sure that you switch to the bar you want to level up the most just before you finish your first daily dungeon - AKA right before the final boss is killed. Finishing the daily dungeon with an experience scroll can take brand new skills up two or three ranks sometimes by the end of a dungeon. This is one of my main methods for leveling up new skills
I'm level 16 and quest wise I've done legitimately 3 things. Did the questline that helped Raz and that Elven Queen (completed.. I think?) One side quest that helped Azura deal with a troll and escaped coldharbour and im already level 16 lol. I can definitely understand how people are in the 1000s with levels.. absolutely insane the amount of content and im only on the base game
Great video again. You are absolutely right about using both skill bars. That is so important. Now having skills that you enjoy using is even more important.
I started playing 10 days ago (lvl 45 now). I've been enjoying solo'ing world bosses a lot. Did my first solo kill lvl 19 (so don't be afraid of being too low level or weak), was super fun and since then I just do them along the way while questing. A nice change of pace for players who don't like to only go from quest to quest.
Good advices again. I am new player and I feel that I reach lvl 25 too quick but yes I have done area by area and done whole map before I have continued. And I do all quests😂
Many of the build guides causes power leveling cause each one is a level 50 cp160. I been mixing it up myself ill power level an quest hard 1 day next i might go out exploring looking for chests alchemy an runes on another day ill look for sky shards. This seems to keep the game entertaining as it allows something different. The biggest reason i quit games is from doing the same things too much an it seems more like a job then a game. Changing it up each time u play will help keep the new fun that u get when u first try a new game alive an allowing u to fully benefit from how big the game is.
What i find annoying is an likely have been the cause of players quitting and it wasnt cause of power leveling. Its the lack of leveling in your crafting skills an gold producing. That to me is one of the main reasons people power level to get access to better gear to be able to survive in a public dungeon if they go in alone. Many vids chat about how to make thousands in gold but they leave out their level 50 cp 160 with claims a single writ quest will give over 4k gold. This right there is frustrating especially if your a new player.
If you think you might be interested in trying PvP, go early and practice in under 50 to learn, it will be easier to pick up then and you don't need to worry about gear, since 90% of the players are wearing bad gear.
I’m pretty bad about wanting to complete everything I can in each zone. I’m a new player and after getting go to stonefall two weeks ago (I only have about an hour a day to play) im still working on exploring and finishing it. Great video thanks for the tips.
I'm doing something super similar to you where I started over on the EU server and I noticed my queue times as a DPS were so much faster even on Playstation.
Yeah we're just built different kek. I started playing about a month ago and have had no issues finding dungeons as a DPS at all times of the day, on the weekends I've often been on until about 4am EU time and haven't had to wait longer than 10 mins for a dungeon queue, not to mention I only have the base game for now so I don't actually have most of the dungeons unlocked but that will change when I get eso plus on payday :p
Love ESO questing! It has ruined me on typical 'kill 10 rats' quests. I'd like to hunt some of the world bosses, is it bad form to ask for help in the Zone? Plus, as a dragonknight, I'd love to do dungeons, but have no role spec. Uh, you just answered my questions. Should have commented at the end. :)
By far the friendliest community I've encountered in mmos that I've played, EU server at least I'm not sure about the NA server. People seem happy to help newer players and get involved in group content. I'd also recommend looking for a guild that does dungeons and group content, most of them have discords if you wanna make some new friends etc. I play solo most of the time as most of my friends prefer FPS games to mmos, but I've had no issues getting in on group content thanks to the friendly community.
Don't be afraid to use zone chat to do WB's. So many people are shy that want to do them. Just take lead and start a group. After the boss is killed, tell them where to go next. It is that easy
Mlg pro eso subscribers vastly underestimate how little bag space us noobies have. I'm maxing out the bag space in the stable before speed. Level 27 and I finally got a little leeway with my 105 bag space.
This beginners series is awesome....i learned so much from it allready. Question tho....where do you get all the icons on your map..i don't see the lorebooks or the explanationmarks.....are those put there through an addon? I play a PS 4...
I'm in this weird skill zone where I can solo base game normal dungeons but I'm not good enough for DLC veteran groups. So when I'm on ESO+ I can't queue random vet and about 50% of the time I get a base game normal. Which these days are too often veterans speedrunning just to get the transmutes or I get in with a group of mostly newer players who don't get enough of a chance to build their skills because I'm standing there with my Oakensoul ring and golded-out Sergeant's Mail and Highland Sentinel burning everything down, no need for healing or tanking. One of my characters went for 9 months without ever finishing quest for Fungal Grotto I because by the time I'd make it to the end, everyone else had bailed, leaving me to get auto-booted by the timer. Now that I can solo base game dungeons, I'm finding out that there are bosses I've never even fought before, as well as some pretty cool rooms and scenery that I was never able to explore. For my part, if I see that the party is moving slowly, I won't run ahead, and I may even lead into the extra bosses' zones. If I see someone lagging behind, I'll turn around and help them with their trash mob. And at the end, if people are standing around, I'll offer up any collected set pieces for free.
I'm afraid to do dungeons , would love to get my undaunted skills up but just can't bring myself to join a group , just got my first ever char to 50 and CP 160 , with dungeons holding me back I just started a new char .
I was too, but honestly just dive in to the dungeon that has the gear that you want. Just tell everyone that you are after that specific set of gear "Essence Thief medium armor" for instance. People are more than happy to trade you at the end of the dungeon.
I plan on never doing dungeons so I guess I will see how bad it will be for my char. I am level 31 now. Today is my 1st month anniversary of playing eso. I am doing everything else Brah We Got This suggested just not dungeons. I do love this channel.
starting this weekend I'll be running a series on beginner dungeons mechanics via The Brah's Discord. It'll be live so anyone on any server can watch. Join the community, we're happy to help you explore content you wouldn't do on your own.
@@Cris1Mac probably learned this by now but you can solo these more common dungeons with relative ease, im a lvl 30 stamdk with lvl 1 training gear and managed to solo my first dungeon, the blessed crucible.
I also honestly dont know my difficulty either i could be on veteran or hard an wouldnt even know it i know in skyrim it started me 1 down from master level. I just know public dungeon are next to impossible to survive in without a partner for me.
I've noticed it seems like your camera is more zoomed out than I've come to know as I play ESO on console, I'm new to it and enjoying it, but am I able to get my camera zoomed out like that on console? I've maxed out my third person FOV, it zoomed out a little bit.. but not that much.
I would like to do a lot of questing. But I tend to accidentally dodge quest givers. Can we know the name of the add-on, that shows you all the quests? Or is there another way to see them on the map?
hey I like just to swing a Greatsword with a Dragon Knight but how to build it ? its some kind of hybrid, both magicka flame skills and stamina physicall skills are great for combat ;/
What would you recommend to a new player before level 25?
Watch some of ur vids. Im very new....played for about 20h awhile back and now coming back . Feel sooo lost...ur vids helping. Cheers
I'd also recommend 3 more things:
1) Pick up all resources along the way, as well as kill everything you come across when going from Point A to Point B. The amount of materials you'll gain long term whenever you need something is totally worth it.

Doese anyone know how to craft the assassin armour in the game
I would say do the fist quest dark brotherhood, psijic order lvl 1

Literally the same with me...

I mean, really depends on the character. I’m a NB DPS archer and at low level you 100% can not solo a group boss lol

I’m so new to discord. How do I find yours?
Is there any advantage to having both morph’s to a skill leveled up?
If you happen to want to change builds that requires that morph.
Hit level 10 and live in dungeon finder?
I'm doing your tank build for markarth while leveling and watching these videos should I be running the build or run a dps build until I'm in cp160
Reminder that Jesus loves you

Literally level 29 almost 30 fuck first char too lol
