Russia is in the position it’s in for no other reason than it self. They invaded Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine. My stern answer will, ' without joining NATO, US and NATO troops and military equipments are already quietly placed and stationed in Ukraine near to Russian border, what if Ukraine joint NATO? It is more worst. US and NATO can freely put their nuclear arsenals near to Russia. This is the concrete reason why Russia objected the admission of Ukraine into NATO. The interviewer has to do his homework on geopolitics. It’s Nato( The US, really) who does not negotiate. Not Russia. Biden adm does not negotiate, they have no decent diplomatic corp. they try to impose their views and that is not diplomacy.
I sympathise with Russia on this issue. Its like if Scotland got independence and wanting to join into a Russian defence group, where a Russian military base/missile system would be placed. How would England feel? How would the government react? They're not going to say Scotlands a sovereign state they can do what they want....😂 we'd probably annexe a military port too if there was English ships/personnel there lol And with Russia not trusting America or Nato is completely founded. He isn't wrong considering they're involvement in what was an illegal war in Iraq....yes a very "defensive" (a word that keeps being used in the media regarding nato) organisation.... when their members invade another country on false accusations along side the US. Thats without involvement invading the rest of the middle east. Propaganda twisted to make it out to be a war on terror when really it's what basically caused it in the first place. They don't stop their members with such issues, nor get involved with any other potential humanitarian crisis that occurs... only when it's in their interest. People aren't stupid. Nato are a military alliance. End of. And along side the US, shown more aggression compared to the rest of the world.
Lol it would never happen. I was just making a point that England, the bordering country, would kick off. It would be as much of a red line as it is for Russia with Ukraine. Shoe on the other foot. Russia definitely has a valid point.
The thing is that while Nato has made mistakes with attacking these countries, it is a entirely different game in eastern Europe. These are stable countries and imo NATO would have nothing to gain from invading or destabilizing a major nuclear power like Russia. Why is it that no other country in eastern Europe feels threatened by Nato? Because I believe there is no reason to. And Putin and Lavrov know that NATO won't attack but they are putting the NATO expansion as a threat to their security in order to justify future invasions into neighbouring countries. Imo Russia has nothing to fear from NATO, they wouldnt' even lose their authocratarian government if they joined. I mean even Erdogan is in the NATO lol
@@Strongpoint100 I mean I agree to Nato or US having anything to gain from Ukraine but for Russia its sort of understandable. The thing they have to fear is similar to what is already happening. Are the US not arming the Ukrainians with weapons and rocket launchers? Seen a few articles with them happily stating that fact. If that's the case that's a risk to their border. What does all the Nato countries have in common? Missile systems. If such a system is placed there, its a massive security risk. As it would be let's say if Russia put missiles in Cuba.... lol the Americans weren't letting that happen. No other Eastern country feel threatened because Nato want them to become democratic. In Ukraine, the United States staged a coup against the democratically elected government, which was confirmed by the West itself and monitored the elections on the ground. The new government has abolished and shut down any opposition that opposes U.S. demands. As in the Baltic states, the US has vilified fascists who have taken away the citizenship of the Russian minority so that they cannot vote and make decisions. How can anyone support a democratic decision to destroy another nation, in this case the Russians. As if in the Republic of South Africa we would take the citizenship of English-speaking citizens because they are English. And the U.S. also threatened Mexico with military intervention a few years ago if it disarmed the English-speaking Mormon population in Mexico, and no one demanded sanctions against the U.S.
Cuba and Venezuela have the sovereign right to station Russian and Chinese troops and missiles. Indeed Gog and Magog are causing chaos across the globe.

If I am the Russian Ambassador, I will answer those questions asked by the Sky News this way so that the Sky News journalist will straight away understand why Russia objected Ukraine to joint NATO. Putin knows very well that the US can not be trusted 1000%' .
The interviewer has to do his homework on geopolitics. It’s Nato( The US, really) who does not negotiate. Not Russia. Biden adm does not negotiate, they have no decent diplomatic corp. they try to impose their views and that is not diplomacy.
Diplomacy is hard when one side drafts is already set in stone.
Reminds me of Ancient Rome
I sympathise with Russia on this issue. Its like if Scotland got independence and wanting to join into a Russian defence group, where a Russian military base/missile system would be placed.
How would England feel? How would the government react? They're not going to say Scotlands a sovereign state they can do what they want....😂 we'd probably annexe a military port too if there was English ships/personnel there lol
And with Russia not trusting America or Nato is completely founded.
If Scotland joined Russia, I would lose all respect for the Scots to go independent, only to throw it away to join Russia. Absolutely abhorrent. :/
The new government has abolished and shut down any opposition that opposes U.S. demands. How can anyone support a democratic decision to destroy another nation, in this case the Russians. And the U.S. also threatened Mexico with military intervention a few years ago if it disarmed the English-speaking Mormon population in Mexico, and no one demanded sanctions against the U.S.
