Apple Care + is essential. I learnt one hell of a lesson few years back when my iphone flew out of my pocket and ended up skidding across the road. Back then didn’t have Apple Care . Went into Apple. They quoted me £450. With AppleCare £89 for a new iphone Replacement. Soon has I got a IPhone 14 Pro took out AppleCare . Expect the unexpected.
Is it worth it? My Iphone 15 pro max got stolen in autobus 4 months ago, now i bought again the same phone so should i buy applecare+ and which deal? Because the last phone which was robbed had no insurance no applecare+ , total loss of 1500 Euro 🥲
Ugh I remember I had my laptop on my bed, then I closed the laptop, but some of my blanket got between the keyboard and screen when I closed it, so it cracked. Suddenly it’s a 600 bill. (From what I remember) ugh it still hurts.
I never felt the need to have it until I smashed my 14PM last week (no accident). Realized I will spend 10 bucks on crap, decided to get applecare+ for my 15PM. Now I can go case-less if desired😎
Plus when you want to sell your phone later on, you can just crack your screen and get it replaced for a chance to sell your phone in perfect condition since it’ll have a new screen. Life hack!
Have it on my MacBook Air, M2, and iPhone SE, 2022. Had it on my iPhone 6 and Series 1 Apple Watch, which I had to use them on those devices. Worth it.
@@frescula Lets say you don't have Apple Care and you break the back glass on your iPhone 15 Pro Max that would be $199 out of pocket and with Apple Care it will be $29. So it would cost you $170 more without Apple Care if by some chance that happened. Apple Care will cost you $269 for 2 years. If the battery degrades before the year warranty Apple will replace it free like lets say it's below 80%. If you have to pay out of pocket it will be around $100. So lets say you break your back screen and the battery degrades after warranty period you're looking at $300 Apple care will still cost you more $269 and Plus $30 to have back glass fixed Plus $30 for battery replacement. So with the price of Apple care and getting those fixes you are at $330. Take your chances why give Apple money for nothing...Like I said a good case and screen protector.
@@GreatBeyond74 Apple care + on the most expensive phone is $200 not $270 like you think it is, you are looking at the one that comes with theft and loss. So back glass breaks and battery degrades (like it’s designed to do) 200+30+0=230 with apple care, without it would be 200+100=300

AppleCare+ for MacBook Air M2 is currently around $65 annually. Or $179 for three years. I'm considering getting a New Sealed 2022 MacBook Air M2 which would have the 1 year limited Apple warranty included. And even though I'm very careful with my phones, tablets and laptops, I'm still wondering if I should consider getting the additional AppleCare+ coverage...? How likely is it for a NEW SEALED MacBook Air M2 to have functionality issues in the first three years, to malfunction on its own...?
Recently i hv bought used 14 plus from a local shop, comes with no box. And got to know that it comes with Applecare+ susbcription till 2025 first quarter. Since i have applacecare+, it it possible to claim like... the dent damage and screen scratches ? And is it compulsory to provide/show the original invoice to raise the claim ? I only have the invoice given by the local seller.
No, they don't cover cosmetic damage. What you can do however, which may sound weird, is crash the phone on purpose. Just literally throw it out the window and make sure that the back and front is severely cracked and bent. After that, chat with Apple Support. Then you can send in your iPhone for 99$ and you will get an essentially brand new replacement device. And no, you don't need a receipt as long as it is logged in to your Apple ID. Worked perfectly fine for me when I bought a 13 Pro with AppleCare and now I still have a new replacement device. I know that it is such a waste to crash it on purpose but that's really the only way to get it brand-new again. Hope that helps :-)
@@LR-tg9kq I don't think they will give you a brand new iphone. You will probably receive a refurbished Iphone, like new. I was just wondering, since he has Iphone 14, which model would he will receive in this case as we have Iphone 16 currently?

idk where u got these prices but my mbp applecare cost $300

What if it’s stolen, case doesn’t help with that, or the batter starts to degrade, or the back glass cracks despite a case and screen protector
