I’m so jealous of how thick your hair is. I was close to combing mine out but I’ll be a year of instant locs in October so I’ll keep it pushing lol. I was told after the first year your hair really flourishes. I haven’t had a retwist in 2 months though so I definitely need to get that done. Great video!
Hey, don’t give up, your hair hasn’t reached its fullest potential yet. An yes it only flourishes more and more each year. That’s definitely what happened to my hair. It’s rough at first but give it 2 years at least. 💓
Ive got instant locs couple days ago, in around 6weeks , and going forward, will my hair just need re-twisting or will i have to crochet the hair again every time?
Hey, you will need a maintenance. Depending on what your loctician suggests and how your locs look you’ll need them touched up. This is only a few times, I did it 3 times after getting instant locs and I was done. So you’ll need a retwist and to get your locs crocheted again if they come undone. Sometimes this can be done to your entire head or only to a few locs that need it. See what your loctician suggests.
Hey, my instant locs aren’t mature or hardened yet and I was wearing too many tight hairstyles. This caused my locs to thin at the root and break off. Also, not moisturizing enough will cause them to get dry and brittle and break.
