Su-25 is the main player in 2022 Russian invasion in Ukraine. Interestingly enough, both sides use it and both sides are suffering limited losses due to the plane's indestructible nature.
Su-25 first appeared in the early 80s and since then it participated in every major war with Soviet/Russian involvement. So far, there is no other aircraft in their inventory that can be accepted with such respect and admiration as the rugged Sukhoi attack jet.
Luckily, Ukraine have it on their side as well.

i can't believe the su-25 has maintained its reputation until modern times old school but most effective ground support flying tank.
